I have an extended warranty contract but can not reach anyone to set a date for service.my freezer on my refrigerator is screaming and I can reach nobody for help. I have been sailing about ten different numbers but all I get are automated recordings. You must fix this problem . I still have not talked to a real person and this going on for five days. I start calling in the am ant quit around four in the evening. Please help me . I may never buy another whirlpool item again.no service no gain!

17 years ago when I bought my new house, it came with an AMANA air conditioner. I want to let someone at Headquarters know that my air conditioner is still in good condition after all these years. I'm sure eventually I'll have to replace it but for now I'm still enjoying it. By the way I'm in Cypress Tx, a suburb of Houston so our summers are blazing hot. I have a lot of respect for your product!! Thank you

I bought an Amana washing machine less than two years ago and it won't spin and no help what so ever from the company. I had my other Kenmore for 10 years and decided to upgrade, what a joke.

I purchased two Amana heat pumps from your agent Goodman Manuf. in Nov. 2009.In November 2012 the condenser of one unit had to be replaced. Now in October 2013 the indoor coil of BOTH units had to be replaced due to leaks.The warranty covered the material costs but the labor costs was $750. Interestingly, the copper coils were replaced with aluminum coils. My service provider told me that he had several similar cases of leaking copper coils from this particular unit. It sounds like this is a manufacturing error that should be covered under a recall. What are the odds of two quality products failing at the same time in the same way? Why should I have to pay for your manufacturing error?

I brought my Amana refigerator 4 years ago. The life span of any refigerator should be 15 years. This reigerator has broke down twice. The first time I was able to figure out the problem but this time I am having to pay 392.00 to have it repaired. When you call the number provided they automatically give yu a chance to buy a warrentee that will cover the repair and labor as if they already know. It is a shame that they are able to get away with this I will be calling the better business bureau.

My 4 year old Amana dryer stopped working. I paid $779.95 hoping that would make it last longer. I'm told the part would cost $300 plus labor. The store is no long in business, therefore I contacted the CEO but have not gotten any type of reply. I would never buy another Amanda dryer(front loader type) I would not recommend this dryer to anyone. I have contacted Consumer Protection and the Better Business Bureau because I feel I should get compensation. I have had to buy another dryer and trash this expensive dryer.

I purchased a side by side Amana refrigerator from Home Depot Home Depot and Amana will not stand by the product. I purchased this product in 2011, since then all the shelves (plastic ones on the door) and both plastic draws broke, also the ice maker doesn't work even after afew hundred dollars of repair work. I just called the number on this site and all they did was try and up sell me to the tune of ANOTHER $329.95. this is what I am going to do about this. I am calling the Attorney General of RI, the Better Business Bureau of RI, I am going to make a video and post it on YouTube, Facebook, Linken, Pininterest, Reddit and anything else I can find and I will POST IT DAILY FOR 6 MONTHS !!!
i WANT SATISFACTION. In fact I want new refrigerator now how these big companies treat the people that keep them in business is disgusting, they should be ashamed instead of haughty Dennis

The Central Electric Module has been replaced twice since the purchase of my refrigerator in 2006. I remember when Amana was a trusted name for large ticket items that were built to last. In the past, I always felt comfortable purchasing your products. This item is defective and has been costly, besides causing a great deal of inconvenience. Sad to say Amana has gone by the wayside like so many other big companies forgetting their loyal customers who have helped them become a household name. Customer Service didn't even slightly consider reimbursing/assisting me with my losses:

Approximately $650 for 2 repairs
$400 in groceries
$85 for a small refrigerator to salvage some of my food

I have paid for my refrigerator twice in 7 years. Due to my complete dissatisfaction I have submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and Complaints.com

I'm With the complaint about your products. I purchased a refrigerator, stove and dishwasher thinking I was buying what I thought was top of the line, I sure was wrong, they are junk. My freezer hasn't worked right from the time I bought it, it freezes in the line then I have water run all over the floor. They said use the hair dryer on it, well that gets old after a while. I have complained about this from the beginning and still it doesn't work right. I tell anyone that is going to buy appliances to stay away from Amana, they are garbage and they don't stand behind their products.

I purchased an Amana refrigerator 12/31/10 and have had nothing but problem with both the appliance and customer service. Two weeks after my extended warranty expired, the freezer portion of the refrigerator stopped working and I lost everything in it. We called customer service and were told to unplug it and replug it in, that it sometimes happens. At that time, we were told our warranty expired and the rep was pretty pushy about us buying another warranty. Two week after that phone call we got a letter telling us our warranty was about to expire - the date on the letter was one month prior to our receiving it - trying to sell us another warranty. In the past year there have been several occasions where we have found our frozen food completely thawed and after throwing away the food, had to unplug and replug to keep the freezer running. This morning, we awoke to a dead refrigerator and freezer with everything in it spoiled. Upon contacting the customer service number, we were told we could purchase a one year warranty for $350 that would take care of sending our a tech to repair (if possible). I asked what would happen after the year, and was told we would have to buy another year warranty. In our case if history repeated itself with the way this appliance dies, we would have ended up paying over $2500 for 6 years use of the damn appliance, which is absurd!
It seems that Amanda makes garbage appliances and then tries to bleed you dry with warranties. Shame on them! Not only will I never buy another Amana appliance, I will make sure everyone I talk to knows about our experience with this company.

disappointed in Denver purchased amana washer and dryer two and half years ago very disappointed have had to replace the element a year ago in the dryer and now the motor has gone out to tune of around 900 dollars total to fix this machine
