I receive mail in a mailbox on the street in front of my house.When I order from Amazon, the product is sent initially through UPS, then when it arrives at the nearest town 3 miles away, it is handed off to the USPS in that town and then it is sent to a town 75 miles away and the redistributed to the PO 10 miles from my house. If the order is too large for my mailbox, the carrier leaves a card informing me that I must pick up the package at the PO 10 miles from my home. The UPS truck from the town 3 miles away passes my house every day so why would Amazon hand off the package to USPS instead of allowing UPS to deliver it. Are they crazy or uninformed about the delivery process? I am planning on giving up ordering from Amazon in the future if this craziness cannot be remedied.
I do lots of business with Amazon.com. I have one big complaint ... their customer service phone number should be readily available to all customers ... yes, I know, you can go to the contact page and fill in information and then click on your choice but that's not good enough! Suppose I have a question where I need information re a product I am considering buying ... I shouldn't have to search on the Internet or your website to get your phone number. It's so annoying that if there were a competitor company, I would seriously consider switching. I don't have time for this!!! Poor business practice ... from one business owner to another.
I started to order a dress today, but I noticed when ordering you have 3 different size 14s'. So when you fill the order how do you know which 14 to ship. Is it a missy size 14 or a Miss size 14 or a Plus size 14 since the dress comes in all of those sizes? There is nothing on the order form that allows you to designate? So, I did not order the dress for that reason. The dress was for very very pretty though.
I need to talk to someone about a billing problem. It is about a delivery that was made to Amazon.com in Hazleton,Pa. We were supposed to collect a charge of $150.00 payable to Direct Coast to Coast. Would someone be so kind and just call me back. I sit on hold for over 5 minutes waiting on your corporate secretary. Why does everything have to go through so many e-mail addresses and no one can help me.
When I got my computer I was told I could get windows 8 at a discounted price
for around $14.00. When I tried to purchase it I was charged $60.00, after a month I got my money back. Then in the mail came 2 discs that said complimentary on the front of it. I down loaded the 64 bit but you need a product key the one that came in the 1st email did not work, so every time I log in it asks for a product key. I cant seem to uninstall windows 8. On top of that, AFTER I got my money back they are trying for a statement re- bill so my whole experience is being over shadowed by this windows 8 affair please help. On top of this I found the Acer Aspire for $30.00 less at Wall Mart
