This bank owns branches all over the country and does not care about their customers. I've had trouble for years, talk to managers and nothing changes. I have lived at the same address for 30 years and had am account in the same bank for 30 years, have an excellent credit rating, and this last weekend was denied an auto loan!!!!! Was on the phone for n hour and they have no explanation!!! Stay away from these folks!!!!
the ignorance of your people in the ira department is too much. I had a roll over and they refused to mark the 1099r with a g in box 7. now I cannot afford to pay the taxes on this and I do know what I am talking about. if they cannot do it right find someone who can. this is ridicules that they are get paid to do some thing wrong for so many people continueously!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I find that BB&T services customers . A document regarding IRA's dated 12/31/12 has been questioned for over a month because you have made an error in totals concerning RMD's (required minimum distributions) and are not aware of publication 590 rules. You are ignorant of the law, unresponsive, and extraordinarily cocky at the corporate level. I do not recommend your organization as you are not interested in customer service.
You provide arrogant and incompetent resolution to problems that you cause through ignorance of the law, or staff that is too uninformed or lazy to get the job done. They also ignore local branch employees. This is NOT the first time.
I have been banking with BBT for several years in Owings Mills, Maryland and now here in Durham, NC. I recently read a book entitled "One Year Up" where the author Mr. Chertavian has established internship programs for students graduating from High School with few prospects for employment. After training them, they work in internships and go on to permanent employment. He started with 22 students and now has 3,000 in NY, Boston, Atlanta, and Los Angeles. He used Bank partneships to establish his program. Can we do the same here in North Carolina? We have a Partners for Youth Program here in Durham.
