I have been on the phone with a representative from alpha techno LLC the people that are involved with the call center for Belkin.. First they are from India with horrible accents!!! they kept trying to get me to purchase a tech plan that is supposed to come with the device for 2 years. then they wouldnt listen to the problem that i am having. i have a router ( n 600 DB) when it messes up again i will be setting it on fire!!! DO NOT BUY BELKIN PRODUCTS THEY ARE NOT WORTH CRAP!!!!

Respectfully, I have a problem that is unique relating to a Belkin Router 510 ser thant I purchased in Feb 2015. It is virtually impossible to speak with a technician in the USA. I cannot understand the techs in India and the Philippines. Besides, many are not that good and you never know who you may connect with. Yes, this is possible in USA too but one has a much better chance to resolve an issue with a USA tech. Why oh why can I not request a USA tech for help? I have chased this problem with my router for days. I am going to return it and move on if I cannot get some credible help.

I spent a couple of hours on the phone and via direct connection to my computer with the tech support and then the customer support. My wi fi range extender has actually been giving weaker signal strength than the wi fi without it. After 2 hours and being handed off between 3 different people, ONE TIME WITHOUT TELLING ME THEY HAD SWITCHED OFF, my problem remains unresolved. This is the low down:
- Tech support is outsourced to a company called Alpha Techno Hub LLC and all tech support is coming from India. Yeah, language tends to be problematic.
- The first "solution" offered was to try to sell me Wi Fi firewall security services for 1 year ($149) or lifetime ($299).
- AFTER FAILING MISERABLY to get the extender working properly, the second solution offered was to bring the item to the store where I purchased it ONE YEAR AGO (2 year warranty), tell them the Techno Hub technician said it's not working, and please give me a new one. HA HA HA - I do not live on the moon.
- After attempting to contact customer support to get warranty service for the extender I AGAIN REACHED THE INDIAN GROUP (this was using the warranty contact number in the extender's manual). After a couple of minutes it was clear what I needed to do.

THROW AWAY MY EXTENDER AND NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER BELKIN PRODUCT

I had a huge wait time today...only to find out that the router that I bought from them and was replaced a yr. ago with a much cheaper device is now obsolete and does not work. It worked for 8 mos. and I have had problems with it from get go. Casey was not helpful at all then when I wanted to speak to supervisor he just left me there on the phone. I will never purchase from Belkin again, they just want you to buy their support which is non existant!

I agree with the comments. After hours spent . ... they insisted on trying this on 'another' non-existent computer! They could not help -- they want you to buy a huge policy ... and frankly/ after all of the troubleshooting-- it didn't work.

its a scam...and we'll never buy Belkin again. We'll get the Netgear also!

I spent over 3 hours on the phone with a technical support person named Sunny from I believe India about my Belkin router not connecting to my modem. He proceeded to log into my computer and tell me that the stuff on my computer was a result of the router not working and said that my computer needed cleaned. I told him lets try another computer and see if it will work then. I hooked up the other computer, he logged onto it and after a few short minutes told me the same thing about this computer as well. I told him at that point how does he know since my router was not connected at this point.He said trust me we will get it working.
After a short time he stated the both computers must be cleaned up and he can do that but there is a fee. At this point I got irate because after 3 hours he tells me now.
I hung up and went out a bought a Netgear router and guess what? I am back up and running!! I am out $69.00 for the Belkin and another $79.00 for the Netgear. Never again will we buy a Belkin router!! Stay away from them.

I have been attempting to deal with Belkin for the past 8 months. I had purchased a Ipad cover with keyboard which stopped working after a couple of months.
Trying to find who to speak with at Belkin is fustrating to say the least - if you do not have a router question you are no one to them. I finally got assistance, and they said they would send out a new cover, but I had to give my cc #. If I didn't return the defective cover back in 20 days they would charge my cc. fine...but the charge went thru on my card that afternoon and has remained there ever since inspite of numberous calls. The new board was sent to a wrong address which I tried to make them aware of immediately via phone and email to no avail. They wanted to charge me for this as well as though it were my fault that they sent it to the wrong address. Now I have the two charges on my cc --they are very quick with charging your card!!! but not with any service. I've tried calling but the wait time has extended past 45 min each time and no one comes on the line. When I try another number I get connected to individuals who cannot understand english nor can they speak it. To sum things up...NEVER EVER EVER NOT EVEN IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT PURCHASE ANYTHING REMOTELY TO DO WITH BELKIN. IF YOU WISH TO WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME, SEND IT TO ME INSTEAD SO I CAN GET BACK MY MONEY THEY STOLE!!! CONSIDER YOURSELVES WARNED

I called Belkin for support on Aug 28, 2013. they gave very good support but when I did not understand the charge they were going to charge me and wanted to cancel they did not take it off my credit card. They do not have my name spelled correctly or case number so how can they still take my money. I wanted to pay the one time support which on that date was less than 50.00 and the year was 119.95 which I did not want to pay. the gentleman was in India and he said well he clearly stated the 119.95 and I said no he did not and i even repeated what I thought he said which was 19.95. He than said well I will charge 6 months and I said no, I only wanted to pay the one time fee because they did give me help with my computer. today is september 27, and I was still charged the 119.95. I am very agitated and I will not deal with this company again. something happens to my belkin and it will be tossed out. annonymous

I have a belkin wireless router f5d7234-4, I had lost the install cd and needed help getting to the log in page to set the router up again. nothing was wrong with the router just couldn't seen to get to the log in page. called belkin support and was told by the tech after he did remote to my desktop that for $160.00 he could fix the problem.ther was no problem to fix, s simple reset of the router solved the problem that the tech was trying to charge me $160.00 for. I don't like being ripped off buy some crook just because he thought that I was stupid enough to pay for something that I didn't need. a simple anser from him to tell me to push a reset button on the router was all that I needed to fix a simple problem,not for some crook to try to rip me off of my hard earned money.just so that you might try to understand my anger, I can buy a wireless router for around $70.00,brand new with the instalition disc included, to try and charge me $160.00 to get a already purchased router set up again is nothing but sheer greed on the tech support person's part.Belkin is and has been a good product you don't need people like the tech support person doing shady business that will make your company look bad or dishonest.
