The support on your product is awful. Only after repeated attempts to get a reply do you. I have asked for a full refund of my $79.00 purchase and $29.00 purchase and all I get is this from your supposed support team and after a week - Thank you for your patience we are looking into this, really - its simple cancel and refund! I am no longer using the product.

Great product but I have had problems with your distributors Avangate sales team. I purchase your Total Security for 51.95 for 1 year about 1 month after installing the product they keep sending me pop-ups that I need to upgrade for 29.95. In e-mailing and telephone calls they said that I didn't need to and yet the pop-ups continue. If I knew that I was not doing business with you direct I would NEVER have ordered this product and it checking out this company report.com after the fact. I should have been warned that I was not going to be doing business with you. I am currently looking at 3 other products to replace yours and write off the 200 + days left.

Bit Defender Internet Security has definitely taken a nose dive the past couple years.
For the last month after their auto updates, I have not been able to use their virus scan, I get multiple errors sometimes having to pull the plug on my PC!!! My laptop (same OS) with BD auto updates turned off, has no such problem. Additionally, BD says real time protection is turned off, but fails when I try to turn it on. Tech support claims there may be a virus that got through, but they have made no effort to follow through on that claim. 3 level tech had me reinstall (uninstall in the safe mode with their dedicated uninstall program) but still same problem. Their response was that I must not have had Administrator privileges, which is bunk. No word for Tech support. I have been 4 weeks without performing a virus scan, or real protection.
BD 2011 the email anti spam module would only occasionally load. I always had a 3-5 minute desktop lockup immediate after bootup. But upon their strong encouragement, I uninstalled and installed 203 which ran flawlessly - UNTIL I did the updates. Next boot, Desktop lockup of 25-35 minutes!!! Which they insisted was because of Windows updates. After multiple uninstalls and reinstalls as per their directions, we discovered that if I have updates turned off, there is no problem with either my pc or laptop (both running Windows XP.
These problems occur, ONLY after enabling their updates!!! There updates are toxic, proven time and time again. They made me spend over 20 hours of multiple uninstalls and installs, yet after 6 months they still do not have any solution, and indeed don't even like to respond.
Don't be fooled by the reviews on the internet, Bit Defender is a flawed program, ditch it, get another.

Without Any Doubt A Joke Of Product, Every Day, Every Time Alerts Of The Bitdefender Anti Virus Is Off! (yet Their Dashboard Says It's On! Over 2300 Conditions Found By Another Scan. B/d Does Nothing For Customers. Sends Ya A Pampering Email Response But Nothing Ever Done! Phone And Other Contacts Provided To No Avail! No Not Buy This Product. I Shall Be In Contact With My Legal Team Tomarrow

The product is great, but the Customer Service is atrocious. They refused to turn the auto-renewal feature off, my account was debited and that caused an over draft. Then they refused to reimburse me for it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT for any consumer. There are several other companies who want you business.
A very disatisfied customer since 2007.
