Bonefish Grill Corporate Office Comments

I feel compelled to write you a some comments on my families dinner last night at the Huntsville Bonefish restaurant. We thought that for a Thursday night the restaurant had very few customers based on past experiences. Granted there are some new restaurant chains in Huntsville. I think the old standby at Bonefish was the Bang Bang Shrimp which maybe has become less of a draw. My particular gripe was with the shared dinner that my wife and I shared. I looked forward to that dinner on the menu from previous experiences. The highlight for me was the cake desert which was no longer on the shared menu. They even did not have mashed potatoes on the menu. The veggies did have a version of potatoes but were not that great. My wife and I wound up leaving most of the asparagus and potatoes uneaten. Our salads were only half eaten when our entrees arrived.. Needless to say when you gets less than expected quality meal you tend to forget going there for awhile.

Very slow service. No one ever checked by to see if we needed anything. Had to stop someone to get water refills. Food was good.
Lots of staff working but no one checks on customers. Customer service is not priority here. Greensboro location.

My friend and I visited bonefish Grill last week and this week. We were so disappointed in the lunch items provided which were both tasteless and dry. We have always loved the bonefish Grill for dinner and we eager to try it as a lunch spot. But based on these two visits, we will not be attending again.

We had lunch at Bonefish in Sarasota today & was very disappointed in the food.
The bread had mold on it, the Salmon was very dry, the lettuce did not taste fresh, & the Key Lime Cake was dry.
This was the first bad meal we had after many previous great meals.

This is unrelated comment in regards to a dining experience, but I still feel that it reflects on the establishment at large.

I had a scheduled job interview for a front of house position at 1:15pm. The online job posting said to allocate 15 minutes for the in-person interview as these would just be an introduction. I took an unpaid half-day at my 9-5 in order to accommodate for at least a 40 minute interview just to be safe, in addition to my 50 minute round-trip commute. When I arrived, I was greeted quickly by the hostess, a good initial sign. There were only 3 tables seated in the dining room, and the bar had zero guests. The hostess informed me that the hiring manager was currently in an interview and it would be a few minutes before she would be with me. I had arrived 10 minutes early, so I was not concerned. However, 20 minutes had gone by, and there was still another interviewee ahead of me. The hiring manager, who was the kitchen manager, informs us that she needed to head to the back for 10 minutes before resuming interviews. An additional 10 minutes turns to 15, and by 1:50pm, I could not wait any longer. In the job description, being on-time for shifts is an integral point that is stressed. That was a tough "lead by example" if I ever saw one. Showing up for this interview was nothing short of a disappointment and a complete lack of consideration of my time. I went into this interview with a positive and hopeful attitude and I left, not caring to ever visit this location. If you are going to be 40+ minutes behind on scheduled interviews, then you should consider informing involved parties and leave an option to reschedule. If you cannot allocate time management, then perhaps a more suited manager should be delegating such interviews.

Had made reservations for 5:30 at DEPTFORD NJ location. Didn't get seated until 6:10pm. Then waited 1hr and 45 min. For food to come out cold. Drinks wasn't made right. Spoke to 2 waiters and manager. Manager never bought my 2nd drink back to me. I no it was Mothersday holiday and it gets pretty busy but the customer service and staff was awful!

Me and my family went to a N in us Bonefish Grill location in New Jersey. Last night was totally discriminated against. I am very unhappy with the way my meal turned out and the service. When I talked to the manager, he was very dismissive. Not really trying to believe what I was saying. I would like to speak with someone higher than him on this matter. My family is now sick and so am I. We did not eat all of our meal I could not eat my meal at all because of how upset I was. The food came out 45-50 mins later & the place was not crowded. Even people that came in after me of a different race received their appetizers and entrées before my table. When my food came, it was cold, and by that point, I was very upset and couldn't eat anything. My husband begged me to come myself down to eat a little something I still was hardly able to eat anything.

I use UberEats often and order Bonefish Grill frequently. This morning I sent a $138 order to the Savannah location at 11:00 am for noon delivery. I wanted to beat the church rush. My order was canceled because the store couldn't handle the order and the team suggested I order from a competitor because of the plethora of seafood restaurants in Savannah. So of course that's what I did, I really enjoy the quality but I guess you don't my business, and this is the 2nd time it's happened. I've eaten at the restaurant many times, most times only a few tables full. Anyway good luck.

My husband and I are at Bonefish in North Myrtle Beach, SC tonight. A ROACH CRAWLED ACROSS OUR TABLE!!!! They moved us to another table and SAID they would comp our meal.

They didn't get the order delivered to our table correctly, salads were NOT delivered with our meal as we asked., AND they only comped HALF of the meal!

UNBELIEVABLE! I will NEVER GO BACK AND WILL BE SHARING MY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH EVERYONE!

We came down to Virginia from Florida. In Florida, Bonefish Grill is always amazing, so we decided to get it here in Florida as well. Once we arrived home from picking up our online order, we noticed our kids meals were incomplete. The only item in the bag was the kids French fries. Additionally, there was a styrofoam to-go meal in the bag which contained half eaten fish and a few French fries. After calling Bonefish grill on Midlothian Turnpike, we spoke with manager Brett, who refused to fix the issue. We requested to return the incorrect meal which we just picked up and get a refund but he did not comply. This place was not willing to accommodate nor compromise for their mistake made! Finally, I've never had an issue with Bonefish grill back home in Florida. Midlothian Turnpike Virginia, thanks for ruining my families dinner tonight.

I took my 85-year old mother to your Bonefish Grill restaurant on Kingston Pike in Knoxville, TN Sunday evening, April 24th. It was 8:15 and she just wanted to get some Bang Bang shrimp and dessert. No problem. We had a pleasant time remembering other meals there with family and friends, one who had passed away, but used to love their Bang Bang shrimp and cosmo. I ordered that myself in her honor.
We had ordered dessert and were waiting for it when all the bright lights came on and the music stopped. It was 9:00. Our waitress Gracie brought us the dessert and ticket, but said " no rush." A minute later, she came back to get the payment. We had not gotten out our card yet. She left. Then the manager Nicole came over and said she needed to collect our payment. Her staff had been there all day and needed to go home. We were stunned at her abruptness. Poor Mom got flustered... all she was trying to do was eat her dessert that had just been delivered to the table. I quietly told the manager that she was being rude. I asked her for her name. She loudly said, "Nicole" and started spelling it out for me. I suggested to her that she should probably start locking the doors at 8:00 so customers could have time to finish eating and they could get out by 9:00. She told me to " tell that to corporate." I told her she was being very rude. Then she informed us that our waitress said we had been rude "all night!" We were flabbergasted! The only thing that we did was ask for another spoon... Mom's spoon was dirty, but I had asked politely, and thanked Gracie when she brought it. I even waited a few minutes until Gracie came back in from clearing a table outside. We said "please" and "thank you" the entire 45 minutes since we had arrived! I told her our waitress was lying to her, that all we did was ask for a clean spoon. She said she believed her staff. I said, again, that she was lying and she, herself, was very rude. At that time, I wadded up the ticket where my mother had left Gracie a nice tip and gave her the other copy so we could just pay for our food and get out of there. As we were leaving, Nicole, the manager said, "Good night. Have a nice evening." I told her she had ruined ours. I will never step foot in that Bonefish Grill or any other "corporate" Bonefish restaurant. Very sad.

On 3/4/22 we ate at the Bonefish Grill on Glades Avenue, Boca Raton, FL. We had a fantastic server who took our order however it did not end on a positive experience due to management and another person at the bar area.
When we finished our meal we requested our check from a guy that was behind the bar and he ignored us and went to the end of the bar to "do nothing". When my fiancée ask another lady behind the bar to please process our our bill she told to "f-off" and my fiancé quickly ask for the management who could prepare our bill and yet he did not speak with the rude and cursing from the employees.
Our original server: Honesty A and she was great. The SvrCK was 75....please visit this site, the management must be lacking to allow an employee to tell a customer who visits this Bonefish 4 times a month.

Today was my Birthday,my Husband tool me to Bonefish Grill on Cortez Boulevard in Spring Hill,I have been several times before, however today was the worst service, ever, the worst food ever and a total disappointment. The server brought the food to the table, and never returned, not to ask was everything ok,nothing. We asked for the check, she could see that we had barely touched the food, we asked for to go containers, even then she didn't ask was everything ok, we paid and left. The food was put in the trash when we got home, it was not even good enough for my Dogs, I have in the past bought my Employees Bonefish Grill gift cards for Christmas and Birthday celebrations, but alas never again. I knew one of the Original owners who sadly passed away in Tampa Bay,so I have been associated with Bonefish for many years.

Alas that relationship ended today

I am at bonefish grill 1135 e. 19th street, upland ca. their system does not accept gift cards- mgr just says yeah our system can't read that. This is after you order- now have to pay when not expected. This is ridiculous! There should be something posted on their door and website saying they don't accept gift cards! Is this how you do business, without a care for the customer experience. $25 gift card- useless!

I am disappointed with the service I have received before and after my complaint. I sent in a complaint months ago about a Bonfish Grill in Glen Burnie and I never got a response. Instead I am just receiving offers to eat at Bonefish Grill.
My original complaint was about the quality of the food. My girlfriend and I are big fans of Bonefish Grill. We ordered the beef potsticker and they were not what we remembered at all. Mushy inside and quite unappealing. I ordered Mahi Mahi and she ordered Chilean Sea Bass. We both had spinach and mashed potatoes. The potatoes clearly came from a box and tasted like it. The worst thing was our fish. Both of us had planks that look like they came from a bag of frozen fish. We did not finish our meals. We wondered if this was a privately owned franchise. If so please tell me how we can tell the difference. I have not been back to one of your establishments since that night in September because I have not heard back from you. I never imagined my complaint would be ignored.

I have been in the restaurant industry for over 40 years. I am an avid Bonefish customers for years, often frequenting 2x a week when in Florida (Snowbirds). Understandably, prices have increased, however, the recent change in menu and quality of food (cut backs) is horrible! You taken favorite items (Coconut shrimp, tuna steak, tuna app, potatoes au gratin, to name a few) and repacked with cheaper menu items and increased the price of those items. Will not frequent as often or at all.

On August 26, 2021 around 5p.m. I approached the counter to place an carryout order. When the young lady tells me to go sit by the bar and someone will be over to assist me, however, almost 30 minutes went by and then I went back to her and she asked me oh, are you placing an order. In which I said yes, she went on the answer the phone, and continue to display good customer service to other patrons other than myself. However, I asked to speak with a manager who was no help at all, and all she could say is that she seen me when I first came in and nothing else. To sum it up, I finally, was able to place my order after a very long wait but I was very unsatisfied with the service that I received a Bone Fish in Novi this date. On top of the poor service I received I still tipped the waitress $5.00 even though my bill was only $9.22. I look forward to hearing from you . Thanks

I am sorry but pissed poorly managed location. I spent a ton on my wife's birthday dinner. Did curbside and no utensils! I was hoping to eat a nice meal with my family. I have no utensils here and Jamie the manager was useless, I am trying to eat crab cakes with my fingers.

The service was absolutely horrible. My two friends and I, which one was from out of town, had to get up and leave the restaurant without getting ours meals. Our meals were given to the wrong table and those customers had that meal plus what they ordered. I can just say I will never dine at this restaurant again the experience was embarrassing and disappointing. Someone need to fix this problem before it causes the business to lose the great customers.

We are very disappointed in Bonefish Grill in Edgmont Center, Pa. My daughter and I went for Lunch today and ordered one drink each and 3 appetizers and was told that we had to order an ENTREE each to order another drink? WTH? Is this your own rules you are making up now? Are they serious? Your appetizers has gone downhill let alone order your entrees.Restaurant was empty, now I know why. Will never patronize your chain of restaurants ever again. Your company is a disgrace! :) :) :)

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!! BRING BACK JEN'S COCONUT PIE FOR DESSERT, That is the best dessert you've ever had on your menu. I, and many family members and friends, always got the COCONUT PIE for dessert. We miss it!

We have frequented Bonefish in many states for years. We visited our Brick NJ restaurant this evening and were totally disappointed in the menu change. mussels Josephine and Sashimi were your signature appys. Not on the menu. Potatoes augratin not there. Your fish selections have dwindled to only a few. Even the desserts were lame. You are going to lose your steady customers if you cannot provide meals to their liking. The wait staff is great and very professional. Please bring back the the original Bonefish That we all enjoyed. I sincerely hope corporate will listen to the public who support your restaurant.

I live in Sarasota Fl. and I frequent the Bonefish in cooper Creek. The elimination of the aux gratin potatoes is the worst decision you could have made during this crisis.Your prices are high and to get cold hard tasteless mashed potatoes is inexcusable. I was offered additional potatoes. Why would I want more cold, hard tasteless potatoes?
The aux gratin potatoes were a Bonefish favorite. It must save you money otherwise they would still be on the menu.
It is very distressing to have those sides which on the whole are inadequate and very cheap. Cole Slaw for example. That is never good.
I am crossing Bonefish off my list.
Is that what you hoped to gain?

I ordered two orders of the Bang Bang Shrimp on 11-16-20.
After getting home for two orders that I paid for; I get home and I have the bread and oil for one order and no bread and oil for my second order. So, the manager has the nerve to tell me that it's a waste and most people don't eat all the bread. I believe if you pay for two orders what comes with order 1@ 10.00 should come with the other order @ 10.00. How does his assumption dictate what I get for my order. He looks at it as a waste but I look at it as getting what I actually paid for. This is not my first visit to this store but today maybe my last. UNHAPPY CUSTOMER

We have been patrons of Bonefish Grill for many years and have gone to many locations in our travels. The Villages location has very good consistent food. The servers are all polite and on the ball, including the hostess. I have two complaints. First and foremost are the restrooms. The door is extremely heavy and difficult to open. One of the toilets has a seat that a homeless person wouldn't want to use. My very close friend has diabetes and uses the men's room for his injection and it disgusts him. Our second complaint is the side dishes. We eat there about twice a month and they Always have the same vegetables...spinach, broccoli or the hard green beans. Yes they do offer asparagus at additional cost, but how about mixed veggies or squash or corn for a change? Seriously, it is so boring for months without variety. We have enjoyed Bonefish for a long time, thinking it's time to find another regular dining place.

On August 9th my partner and I were married after being together 18 years. Finally "love won" and we were able to celebrate! When planning the small intimate dinner we immediately thought of Bonefish Grill at the Polaris Location in Westerville Ohio. We planned out the meal with the Manager Jeremy Gross before the event. Jeremy's excitement and enthusiasm made us feel very special and honored. We send out a 'big Thank You and Bravo" to Jeremy as he and his staff helped us to celebrate a very special occasion. Thank you Jeremy Gross....Bonefish should be very proud to call you as one of their own!! Sincerely, Matthew Ring & Gregory Woods - Westerville Ohio
