I have been on the phone for about an hour trying to explain the issue that I am having with my wireless password and wireless in general. I requested a tech come out to rectify this situation and was told that I could not have someone out until all avenues with the outsourced employee had been exhausted. I pay for my service to be covered by a tech and I think that I should be able to ask for that service. What is going on?

i tried to get a shipping return label to return a modem. three people said thet cant send me label in the mail. i returned a modem just weeks before with a label sent to me via usps mail. now the fourth person told me no problem he was supposedly punching in the info as we talked, saying i would have the label in 5 working days that was 2 weeks ago. hmmm was he lying to me. if i dont get a label i will set it out by the mail box and it will magically get to centurylink, just like the label got to me.im not paying $200 for a modem i am trying to return to you. which was the second one i received that didnt work.i was told i would get a months credit for the modems not working, when thet transferred me it was to a non working number, i v been a customer for 25 years, the only thing im keeping now is my landline and depends how it works if i go to cell phone from a reliable company. a very unhappy customer

I knew going into a relationship with Centurylink was a bad idea based on their reputation. I needed internet service for several months until the ground could thaw for my usual provider to dig for installation of fiber cables. My complaints are:
1. I never received a copy of my signed contract and, contrary to their claims, it was not on their portal.
2. The price I agreed to was $60/month yet they charged me over $200 for 6 weeks of service.
3. You can't get ahold of a real human once you're a customer unless you literally have all day to wait on hold. It will take hours on hold to finally get through.
4. Most frustrating of all is that their customer service style is happily to tell you anything you want to hear and pretend that they're doing it yet you'll find out nothing changed.
5. They charged my card against my wishes and the MN Attorney General is investigating.

On 10/29/2021 some guy in reflective vest came to our door and said he needed to access our backyard because a neighbor signed up with Century Link.

No ID. No mask, no work order, no business ID, no identification on vehicle. He had a polo shirt underneath his vest with the business name Wise Connect.

We attempted verification. Phone number went to an international mailbox for the sub contractor Wise Connect. Only voicemail. No call back.

Seriously, is this your business model? If so, I would happily descend into Luddite lifestyle than have to do business with Century Link.

I have been a Century Link customer for 19 years and 10 months. I am absolutely at my waist end!!! Customer service is non existent. I spent 17 hours calling, getting cut off, transferred and cut off and transferred to the wrong department! Plus I chatted online 4 times. Century Link sent me a new modem and. No One can help me set it up!!! I am being charged 200.00 for a modem that doesn't work because we can't connect it! FINALLY they are going to send a technician (I refuse to pay because it should not be rock science to walk me through connecting it). NOW after I week without internet, 17 hours of my life totally wasted, a technician can not get here until August 4.

I am building on family owned property. I was having the electric connected when WPS cut through some wiring. They had to cease all work and notify USIC. I happened to arrive to check on the progress...to find CentryLink put their equipment on my family property without permission nor an easement. They went over 2500 feet and zig zagged through my family woods. When I try to contact them I get some other country whereas the "Customer Service Rep." know nothing about the laws and regulations in the USA. I asked for a number of someone I could contact got the run around because the phone number the two separate CSR gave me were right back to where I started. I spent over 3 hours trying to get assistance with no outcome with exception to a waste of my time. I would like someone from CentryLink to tell me what they are going to do to make this right. One cannot just encroach on someone's personal property.

Internet has been down about 12 days at my house. No TV, alarms or computer access. Repair tech was a no show 3 times and when he finally showed I was advised splicing at the cable box was needed and he did all the proper markings at the main cable box to make the splicing easy for maintenance. When I call repair with the ticket numbers I reach the Philippines who either disconnects my call or says they'll have a supervisor call me back which never happens. They cannot contact anyone locally for this problem. I'm trying to find out who to get service from so I can disconnect Century Link forever.

I waited 2 weeks for an appointment for installation by CenturyLink. They constantly advertise how they are following all guidelines during this pandemic. They won't even give you a estimated time you have to stay home all day between 9:00 and 6:00. I waited until 1:00 and the installer came to my door without a mask on. I asked him to put on his mask he said he didn't have any I said I have plenty of new ones you're welcome to one he said no he didn't want a mask. I waved him off through the window and immediately called CenturyLink and was on the phone for over an hour of which two times I was disconnected. When I finally got somebody to reschedule me I have to wait another 2 weeks. I am thinking of calling the local news channel since I can't get through to a person to take this complaint.

I had an appt. with Century Link to fix my house phone. I took off work and waited all day. The tech never showed up and said that he completed the job, Then I get a survey about the tech and if he did a good job. Called at 5 and automated system scheduled me for next Tuesday. I did not ask for this day. Today, I have spent a total of three hours on and off today. I have been disconnected, put on hold and transferred to another dept. When asked to speak to a manger, I am told that there is none available. This is ridiculous. I am definitely changing my phone service Quite obviously they do not give a rat's butt about anything!!!

I have had the worst customer service ever, since October> It started with billing in Oct through Feb. Now it has been redirecting connection issues for 6 weeks. I was told there was a new homepage(lie),problem w/Security company(lie)HP issue(lie)IP address(lie) needed to talk to email supervisor(lie no such dept.). After 6+ hours on line, phone, online tech chat,yesterday I foolishly paid for a diagnostic. I have all names ,dates, times. They even sent out repair that I was not told was coming, he had not a clue. I am demanding compensation for all of this. Yet this A.M. Fritz an online tech fixed it in 10 minutes and stated there is no new homepage, he just had to reset compatibility. Give this man a big raise.

Why does CenturyLink agree to one price on the phone for a one year internet service contract and then raise the price twice during that term? That is illegal, but CenturyLink customer service personnel seem to think that it is OK. I am letting the Better Business Bureau and the Colorado Attorney General handle it now after my last one hour, one minute and forty second phone call to CenturyLink resulted in nothing but a hang up from CenturyLink customer service personnel pretending that she could no longer hear me. Don't worry, I recorded the phone call!

The worst customer service on planet earth. This company system did not bill me prism tv for 5 months the prism lady rep explained. Then she transfered me to another peron by the name of Josh in there Boise office who was a complete jerk ! He did not have any empathy for my situation just told me there is no one who can help me and said hold please without getting my permission saying your going to escelations. He kept me on hold for over 40 minutes never coming back to say anything. I will do everything on my power to get this company on the news so novone will use them going forward. So this place goes down fast. I need someone to get back to me asap . I will take 2 hours out of my day every day to write lettera and calls

The absolute worst customer service ever! The only time I have been treated with respect is when I disconnected service a couple months ago. Then the"loyalty" department made all kinds of promises trying to keep me but I had already arranged other services. Apparently, you can get internet at 29.99 without bundling....surprise !!! I was told over and over and over that Internet price was only when bundling with TV or home phone...wait...home phone WITH unlimited Long distance!!! Oh joy!!! Who needs that? So I was screwed in to paying extra only to find out I really didn't need to if I would have "just" spoken to the "loyalty" department ... Yeah right what a joke!!! I ended up being stupid and coming back to Century Link because I only need minimum Internet and.....they promised to note my account of our earlier conversation if I'd come back. Well I have continued to pay at least 68.00 or MORE every month because of all their hidden fees and lies and.....adding things to my account that I never ordered or wanted. Hey if I don't notice then.....easy money x however many others getting screwed over by the lies and fraudulent services!!!!! Customer service people are Rude unknowledgeable, immature, unprofessional idiots! It takes hours to get nowhere after being transferred to every department available after waiting an hour...more precise 53 minutes to even talk to someone.

I must give a shout out to the absolute rudest most condescending employee I spoke with who consistently talked over me and laughed at my frustration .... Really?? HANNAH IN BILLING!!! The worst of the worst ... Maybe give her a raise since apparently that is what Century Link prides themselves on.....horrible rude customer service!

A world of "red tape" and voice mails going no where. I had my email account shut down by the Customer Security Assurance for multiple spamming issues after they reset my email account 3 weeks earlier. After complaining they took down my account and you have to call the Customer Security Assurance office to re-establish the account but they don't answer their calls or return them for that matter for the last 6 days. After calls to everyone from the local and regional offices. tech support, chat support, etc. I decided to call the corporate offices. They were wonderful to work with and helped me through my email problems. Thanks Geri from Denver and "W" in San Marcus Texas.

False promises after centurylink purchased Quest a promise was made to upgrade the internet service. 5 years later still no upgrade we still only get 5mps while Century link continues to upgrade the service around us like Portland Seattle Eugene. We pay $50 per month while they offer 1 gig service for Portland at $79.95. They don't care 5 hours on the phone to get nowhere Portland receives 200x the service we receive yet we pay over half for what they get. Great marketing quit boasting how great you are upgrade your areas. Just because we are rural we get over looked. Centurylink stated they have not even considered an upgrade in the community. Thanks for nothing.

The customer service is horrible!! I do not know how this company is in business!! You can't get a human on the phone to sell you or assist you with service. Once they send a technician to your home they don't ensure it is working or hooked up correctly and none of the people you come in contact with in the call centers seem to be able to assist you. You are placed on hold for extended peroids of time and transferred without any answers. I have personally spent 5 hours on hold in a 2 day time frame just trying to get the service connected. Bad business if you ask me!!

The Customer Service is terrible. I called regarding my bill and they instantly want to push bundling on you! I don't want to bundle! They refuse to transfer you to a supervisor, when you call to get one you are told non are available! There are too many other phone companies out there that are cheaper and have better customer service! It is time to find a new phone company to be sure!

century link did not show to do an install that was ordered over a week prior to install AND They sent a written confirmation they would do the install on 2/12.... they did NOT ...TECH NEVER SHOWED AND CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS DONE NOTHING BUT MAKE THINGS WORSE.... We should become a priority install since the error was on Century Link, instead, they trying to add us to the schedule and tell us sometime next week!!! The real mess is that they did send a tech but when he arrived he said his work order only called for DSL install...ALL THEY NEEDED TO DO WAS CONTACT DISPATCH AND HAVE THE TECH DO THE JOB THEY AGREED TO DO... Seems like communication between office and dispatch is a mess!

While attempting to record a movie on my DirectTv Account, my high-speed internet isn't working up to "par" according to the test I completed with the help from a tech. I called Centurylink for assistance and was told that my internet speed was fine and this was an issue with DirectTv. It was clearly an internet issue as my laptop and my recording weren't connecting well. I kept receiving a "buffering" message while trying to view the movie.

On December 6, 2013 I made a call to customer service concerning a few things about my bill. I disconnected service with direct tv at the end of the year which was November 15 2013. This email confirms that your DIRECTV service has been disconnected on 11/15/2013 12:00:00 AM per your request. At this time, your account balance is (122.43). the following is from my direct tv account:
11/19/2013 Final Bill ($114.02) $0.00
11/22/2013 CLink Billing $114.02 is what you paid not the full month normal because the account was cancelled.

The second issue on the call was I was being billed by centurylink for my Verizon cell phones and I also got a bill from Verizon.

The CSR didn't understand and or know what they were doing and even told me they were brand new. At least four times on the call I requested their Id number and a supervisor and I was totally ignored on my requests. I got placed on hold again for a fourth time and suddenly I get the if you wish to make a call please hang up and dial again.

I've been a loyal Pacific NW Bell, USWest, Qwest, and CenturyLink customer for 38 years. I thought that Qwest admin & customer service was crummy but CL takes the cake. USWest created a great feature called "One Number Service". You can still see a page on the web that touts it http://qwest.centurylink.com/residential/vmlons/learn/index.html . Then, my home phone stopped ringing. After calling support 4 days in a row, I finally find out that they are "phasing out" the feature and they've known about problems generated by the use of the new smart phones that interfere with its proper operation. I received no notification. My home phone hasn't rung for 3 weeks.

Customer service is atrocious! I've written 3 letters questioning the impossible to figure out billing statement, with NO reply. My wife tried a chat session that went on forever, and the co rep could not begin to answer any questions. When asked for a mailing address to send the letters to, she was told there is none and no one answers letters - duh!

My account and in July of 2012 I called Centurylink and asked if you all had any promotional packages available through my television carrier at the time which was Dish Network. I was informed by the Centurylink rep that Centurylink no longer offered Dish Network packages but offered Direct TV packages. She went on to explain to me that if I changed from Dish Network with the same exact package I had with Dish Network to Direct TV with the 3 year bundle package my bill every month for the next 3 YEARS would be $122.44 a month. I specifically said "you are telling me that if I switch from Dish Network to Direct TV with the same package I have right now with Dish Network that my bill EVERY MONTH for the NEXT 3 YEARS will be $122.44 a month?? and she said "YES." It was on a recorded line if you would like to hear the conversation. So I decided to change television carriers. Well ever since that day I had nothing but problems with my bill. I even got to the point that I wrote the Better Business Bureau and I was contacted by corporate office in Louisiana which I was honored the $122.44 a month (my bill WAS correct) for the first 12 months. The woman whom I spoke to in regards to this in the Corporate Louisiana office name is Diane but she explained to me that she would be retiring December 2012. But if my bill were to change starting on my second year to just call and the $122.44 I was quoted and guaranteed would still be in affect for the next 2 years. Now I am on to year number 2 and for the past 3 months my bill has been incorrect. To the point that this month my bill is over $198.00. I was told someone from escalation dept would call me by Wednesday October 16, 2013 and I have yet to get a phone call. I have since contacted Better Business Bureau once again and now I am contacting you all for the 6th attempt this month and contacted Centurylink escalation department on several occasions 2 months prior. All I want is what I was quoted back in July of 2012. That if I switched my television carrier to Direct TV that my bill would be $122.44 a month. Since the first year was correct...I am only asking that the next 2 years will be what I was quoted. Thank you. Please call me or email me so we can rectify this issue. I have been a Centurylink customer since 1999. The last response I received from Centurylink escalation department was that there is absolutely nothing they can do and they instructed me to call Direct TV and change my television service with Direct TV to lower my bill. I find that unacceptable and very LAZY on Centurylink's part. A Centurylink rep is who signed me up with Direct TV, it was a Centurylink rep that quoted me this 3 year bundle package, it was Centurylink who put me in this 2 year contract with Direct TV, It was Centurylink who asked and validated the exact programing and DVR and TV set up I had originally had with DISH Network and it was Centurylink that said if I switched from DISH Network to Direct TV with the same package that I would be saving money.



I am hoping you can PLEASE HELP me with this situation. All I am asking is that I am honored my quoted price of $122.44 a month for the remaining of the 3 year bundle package which is 2 more years. Thank you,

Century Link does not provide good standard customer communication practices. I responded to a phone promotion for a Prism package with phone & internet. I requested an email confirmation of the agreement. I am told Century Link does not and will not provide me a written copy of the details. Since all contracts are a meeting of the mind, and CL will not confirm their understanding of this meeting of the mind, I canceled the verbal agreement.
I don't understand their lack of transparency, I don't want to do business with them. They can't communicate. Therefore,I don't trust them and I am looking for another provider of phone and internet services. I am, F Judy Brown, a senior who wants to do business with an honest and forthcoming communication provider.

i have never worked with a bigger bunch of hang ups, lies! always on hold for them. can we please start a group to put these out of business. a supervisor hung up on me. on hold for over half an hour the next time. this company sucks and deserves to be put out of business. please everyone....notify the bbb and your attorney general. let's put a stop to this disrespectful company. 8 months and still not working right. 3 browsers, and not one that works with centurylink correctly. if i could just have 5 minutes face to face with stop paying your bills and let's start a class action suit against them for what they have already taken from us!!!!! it is bad enough the service sucks, i ought to at least get good customer service!

OMG! I am so flippin pissed I can't see straight! I moved from one location to another - 10 miles - and my move was messed up so bad I don't even know where to begin. The tech setting up new location was in a bad mood and upset and couldn't get my modem to work - so he was going to leave and leave me hanging with NO phone or internet!! We had a 'discussion' and he finally stayed till it was setup. I still I'm not sure I'm setup right. Then - my bills came in Spanish with an account number that is not mine. They couldn't / WOULDN'T help me with getting that to where I could see my real bill on-line. Said they had no idea why my bills where in Spanish - but it was now fixed and with the right account number and don't pay those. NOT! Some days I was on the phone for HOURS! Either on hold or being transferred - on hold and transferred and had to start over every time. One Rep told me she was having a bad day and HUNG UP on me! I was told they don't want to be on the phone for this long either so trust them when they tell me it's fixed! It's not!! I asked for a regional supervisor - nope wasn't going to happen. Everyone I spoke to SWORE they had my issues corrected only to see the same thing AGAIN or another one would pop up. Then they sent me a return label for my modem. I never asked for that. No exchange modem - they wanted their modem back???? Nothing in return!?! That took about 2 weeks to fix. Then more bills in Spanish not my account number and nothing yet visible on-line. All representatives telling me everything is ok. THEN I get a call from CL 911 department - had no clue that department existed - this guys is saying they have me living in a totally different State and that my number didn't match my state address. For 2 ½ months still on phone trying to straighten out my bill. I pay and they would send it back to me!!!! They say I'm bundled - I say I can't see it on my bill. I am PLEADING that I get this straightened out so that Direct TV doesn't cancel my service - or that I end up with a LARGE Bill - or that I get turned in to a collections for not paying when I have been trying to pay. Direct TV says I'm good. Any extra payments I made only went to my phone and internet because they did NOT have me correctly bundled. By this time now I am down to only 2 - 3 hours on the phone 3 days a week. My last call 4 days ago I was told by Direct TV and Centurylink - despite my concerns - all was fine and I only owe what my bill says. Today I get a letter from a COLLECTION agency saying CL sent me to them for non-payment!!! 2 hours again on the phone and was charged a fee on top of paying the collection amt. I have NEVER had any of my bills ever sent to a collection agency and this was extremely upsetting since I was on the phone with CL trying to avoid this in the first place. They are so inept! I am still not certain this was 'fixed' as this will be the 32nd call on this - I think they just took my money. I tried to get a cable company for internet and phone - but they wanted to dig up my yard - drill holes completely thru my house - drill and attach a box on the outside of the house and even after all that my phone would be on one side of the house and my home office on the other side of the house. So I said no to them but feel stuck with lousy customer service of CL. I can't believe they sent me to a collections agency when I paid and they would send it back to me or apply it to JUST my phone and internet cuz THEY didn't have me bundled right. I have NO Respect this company!!

My Service For Both My Phone And My Internet Has Been Horrible For The Past Three Years Since I Moved In To This House. I Have Been Threw 3 Modems And Voice Repair Never Checks My Phone They Just Claim I Live To Far Away From The Next Utility Box??? My Neighbor Has Same Exact Service With Not One Glitch Of Problems.i Did Talk To A Specialist Today And He Told Me To Use Someone Else's Services This Is Poor Customer Service And I Want Something Done About 3 Years Of Bad Service!!!! got my first bill posted today. they neglect to tell you that they pro-rate your first bill, and the fact that you would have a activation fee on the phone as well as the internet. they told me my first bill would be 59.95 plus 30 activation fee one time fee!!!! my bill is 195.12 plus i paid direct tv another 61.24. i am very unsatisfied. this is false advertisement as far as i am concerned. and i thought time warner was bad. wow beware check complaints from other current customers as well.

hello my name is brendell gibbs we have had service with century every sence you have moved to north carolina, we tried your cable service prism tv and in a bundle package and in no way are we satisfied we have had this service for about six weeks, and out the six weeks we have had service men here about five days out the week when we call in we get some techs that are grate but we had a few they gave us a hard time techs saying that they came buy our house and left a card on the door but that was not so we have had to take off work to accomadate the the service tech, and when they get they do what they had to do and when they left the tv played for about 1 to 2 hrs and then went out, and have been going on for about 6 week, over the week end saturday a tech came out to fix the problem he got the tv going never checked to see if it was working , then he left 45 mins after leaving the tv went out we called in again and we were given another appointment for sunday we waited here all day long and was not even given a curtissy call to say that they wasn't coming we had to call in at 4-30 pm for them to tell us that the tech would get here about 5pm so we waited again still no tech the thing about that is they knew that a tech was not coming in the first place, they just could have told us that because we had plains for that day which we had to cancel our plains,so they sent another tech for monday well it is working for now we will see tks brendell gibbs

VERY POOR Customer servie and a total lack of respect for their customers. I have had a cable runnign from my house to the neightbors since Feb 2013. When I agreed to let them do this, I was promised the cable would be buried in the spring. Spring has come and gone and the cable is still there (6 months now). Multiple calls and emails and nothing but a run around from the company. In addition to having to navigate around their cable when mowing adn working in the yard, an injury has occurred and no one at centurylink can provide ana email to file a claim. AT least I have had no response to my request. Just a phone number where I have been on hold for over 1/2 hour each try.

Very disappointed in their lack of concern for the safety of their customers.

I live in Vail Az and a short time ago the phone and internets lines were all updated with much promise of improvement, problem is as bad as it was at times after improving things got worse, internet is a catch as catch can. Often when I call I think I am giving them new news that their system is not working. They send repairmen and nothing ever gets permanently fixed, within hours or the next day same old problems. People on the phone are polite and as helpful as they can be not being technical. I am thinking that your company does not have the equipment or technical skills to keep the system running and worse yet I don't think your company actually cares about the customers. Change your ads from 19.95 a month to free since you cannot promise service anyway. I will try to get your chairman's name, address and phone number so I can start calling him to see If service can be fixed.

I am very Unhappy with my CenturyLink internet service they only have 1.5 speed in this area and its not even giving me that.I have an Mcell to try and get cell service but it won't initiate because of low speed. Speed test is 1.27. They say they are upgrading areas but so far , nothing.

This company is a disaster. I was on the phone for 90 minutes in trying to get my bill and my sister's bill on my credit card as they were before I changed credit cars as a result of identity theft. CenturyLink is the only company that could not deal with this. I know an executive for CenturyLink in Orlando several weeks ago about some problems, and this person gave me a detailed list of problems CenturyLink has after a reorganization and down grading a number of technical employees. If I do not have a resolution in 30 days, I will move to Comcast

Century link sucks I haven't even had my service hooked up yet and I already 50$ in the hole and canceled my service, they have gave me the run around for over a week now and still habent hooked me up nobody will help me when I call. If it was my company I would have alittle better order on things and I would definately have taought my employees about good customer service don't use them and if you do good luck

Century Link Has The Worst Customer Service I Have Ever Seen Even After Years Of Being A Good Loyal Paying Customer I Am Now Leaving And Going Without Internet For A Little While And I Don't Know If I Will Ever Subscribe For Internet Service Ever Again With This Kind Of Service Who Wants It..like I Said They Are The Worst Of Any Kind Of Business And Deserve To Be Investigated For Fraud And Stealing Their Customers Hard Earned Money With Bogus Charges And Then They Hope You Are On Automatic Payment And You Don't Chk...check Every Charge Because At First It Will Just Be Small Amounts And For An Instance This Month I Paid 338.00 To Cover The Directv And Past Amounts Due Also That Noone Wants To Admit Were Also Bogus Charges And My Internet Come To Find Out No Payment Went To Directv And Now There Is Absolutely No Record Of What This Money Was Suppose To Go To...so I Caught Them Red Handed Taking Money They Did Not Earn Or Deserve...they Are Criminals And The Police Deserve To Visit Them For Fraud.

I am really sorry I have to bring this to the publics attention but if you can don't stay with Century Link! Go to the competitor...now! They steal money and then they make it look like you are actually paying for services you never even purchased. They will bully you into paying and by the way they will not take one second out of their day to even care. Especially if you don't owe the money all they are are a bully collection agency that will make you believe your bundle bills are being paid then you will get a notice saying your bills have not been paid but mysteriously where is the money????

Century Link is the worst business I have ever encountered! I am expect corporate to be a better fix to my problem...I cancelled my land line about 2 years ago and ever since I have gotten a headache from Century link I had to promise to buy a cell phone with them to get any help. I will not subscribe to anymore services from century link. NO WAY! I am asked everytime I call if I want a land line and when I will be coming on board with Verizon. My answer is never. I am unbundling all of my serives to pay each and every bill myself I am sick of Century Links customer service reps. They don't correct any problem but want to argue and create more problems I am sure my computer was destroyed due to passive aggressive behavior and that I no longer want a land line or cell service with Century Link and as a matter of a fact as soon as I can I will be leaving.

This is my complaint about Century Link. The customer service is about the worst I have ever encountered. My account is subject to cancellation by me if things don't change. I had a sick dog, a death in the family and now I am so sick from the flu that when I ask for help I get the complete opposite there has been an ongoing feud between myself century link and directv and does any of the service reps on either side care. The answer to that question weather the customer service reps care the answer is NO. I have been called a liar and threatened of lose of service for a bill I don't even owe. I am so tired of trying to straighten this situation out that now I am asking corporate to step in. If I don't get the satisfactory service I will be leaving Century Link and going to the competitor and happy to do so. Now, I have been called at my home by a supervisor if I was going to cancel or what I was waiting for. The problem is so bad that every call I ask for the complaint dept or a supervisior and I get neither and no complaint is ever filed and it is just useless to think the next time I call in that it will be different so I am sure my account has been marked as if I am a criminal. Now, they are holding my account hostage til I pay. I have been a loyal customer for over 5 years and it isn't until I encountered a correction that needed to be made that I even noticed this horrible customer service. The at ease for the computer is useless. I had my pc tune up on a 2300.00 computer to watch it crash not more then 3 minutes after the pc tuneup there was nothing wrong with my computer but they are saying I told them my computer was broke before I started the pc tuneup which is a lie. I am at a loss here not only did I lose my computer and had to buy a replacement computer because they won't honor their own mistake and fix the problem. My harddrive needs to be retrieved and they won't fix a problem they caused me so I bought a new computer and now this is the service I have to deal with. Everytime I call in I tell them I am on disability and they don't care they are still just as rude and I asked this morning for the complaint dept. and was given the run around again. So here I am complaining and corporate will get a letter in writing. I am just not happy with the service I have received.

DO NOT subscribe to Century Link. We were with Qwest and then CL for 56 years and never had a problem until CL got involved. I was charged late fees for 3 mths. I pay electronically thru my bank and have verified all 3 pmts were at CL on time. They have NO customer service. The people you talk don't give a rip about you and only read from a script as to what you have not done or did wrong. I had my internet disconnected & on my final bill they charged me for 3 more mths after I was disconnected. I finally wrote a letter to their corporate office in CO and got a call from a gentleman. He deleted all the late charges and told me to wait until I got a REVISED BILL to make a payment. I called those terrific 800 numbers and continue to get someone out of the country which, incidently, I always request to speak to someone in the USA. Each person gives you a different answer.
I was also told I needed to dispute my bill in writing and if it was approved, they would send a corrected bill. They said that if this was not taken care of in 60 days, it would be sent to collections. I have talked to CL a total of 5 different times since 12/12/12. As of this date, I have received 5 closing statements and they all show the incorrect amount. Today I was told by Crystal in Finance Dept that she would contact their Business Office to "make sure" I got the correct bill. Guess what - I got disconnected. Called again and got disconnected again. I then spoke with Christopher in MN who said I should pay the revised amount and that would close the account. Should I believe him?
Frustrated and would NEVER recommend Century Link to my worst enemy!!!

This Is The Worst Company I Have Ever Delt With, They Lost My Payment And The Information They Need To Find It Is A Bank Transmittal My Bank Has No Idea What That Is, So They Closed My Case And Cutt Off My Services. There Customer Service Department Are The Most Dumb Witted People Around All They Say Is Im So Sorry But Will Do Nothing To Help Us Get Our Money Back It Was For 110.00 We Are Filing A Lawsuit Against This Company, They Just Turned 110.00 Payment Into Thousands For All This Stress And Fighting Me And My Husband Are Doing. I Know For Those Who Make 6 Figures 110.00 Is Nothing To Them, But To A Family Of 6 With One Income Its More Then What We Have. All I Want Is Someone To Work With Us Instead Of Telling Us What We Can Provide Is Not Good Enough

My land line telephone does NOT work when it rains. I have had multiple techs come out and what they tell me is that the old underground infrastructure fails. of course, they never credit me for days lost when i have no service.

This company is the worst company i have ever dealt with. I have tried to speak with a supervisor in customer service and was advised that they did not want to speak with me because of there own reasons i guess. i have never been with a company for over 1 yr and felt such total disrespect by there reps. i found a corporate number to contact and there operator was just as rude and continued to cut me off and transfer me to no where. i dont understand how this company has lied on tv about them being the "friendlist company around" yet none of there reps have knowledge or are very friendly at all. they should be ashamed of thereselves..I am terminating with them asap..I would rather deal with Verizon!!

I need a customer service survey sent to me for completion on a series of horrific botches on an incompleted internet start-up service, resulting in an incredulous and insulting act CenturyLink serving me with an early termination bill of $227.57. First I experienced a horrible time with an incredibly rude lady on the phone while initiating an internet start-up. She ended up hanging up on me, and not knowing whether my order was placed or not. Then a service guy came by un partially completed the wiring on the outside. In the evening I spent two hours on the phone with a technical support rep to try to get my internet activated and going. Later and closer to midnight I went outside and saw that the technician contractor did not hook up service. I stopped the service the next day before I ever got activated, and received a confirmation number for stop order. Then yesterday, a month later I received a bill from Century Link stating that I owe them $227 for early termination! I couldn't believe my "freaking" eyes! From start to finish, this aborted customer activation for internet was an unparalleled fiasco, like no other incompentency that I have experienced in my customer servicing walk in life. Even when I called another Rep to inquire about how to return the modem, she told me that she would send out a self-labeled box 90 miles from me to ship it back out. A month later now and nothing has arrived. What a bunch of bumbling employees! A need a name and number or e-mail of the highest-ranked Customer Service Director (regional or national) that I can file this report to. I wouldn't take this company's service if it were free!

this is the worst company i ever dealt with, how they stay in business is beyond me. they charged me many years for wire maintencance which they will not honor. I paid every month for nothing and i can not get a refund. Its a scam?
