Citi made an error printing my checks. I had to go to branch to get straightened out. Reordered checks and was told I would also have to pay for the checks printed in error. You make a mistake and client pays. Great business model

This back sucks. They closed accounts for no good reason and keep your money. Say that you have to wait 30-60 days for a check in the mail. This is bull!!! Some of us need OUR money now not in months later. That is why we open a account in the first place knowing it's there when needed. Never thought they would keep your hard earned money for no good reason. Even after the check cleared. And the is no one that can help. Come on!!!! This is messed up!!! Give me my money!!! What gives you the right to do this??

I have been banking with Citibank in the late sixties plus I was an employee for almost 20 years, in New York and the Doral. I have to say I am very disappointed with the service that is extended to customers at your Branch at 120th Street and 137th Avenue. In the past I have been there and for some reason they do not recognize my checking account number. I also went there to cash some EE bonds had no idea what they were so the manager had to show how it was done.
I was there on 6/9/23 to renew one of my CD's and waited over an hour. When I asked for the manager, I was told he was out. There was one female who had a female customer and they were having a good time. In fact the customer took off her shoes and had her feet in the chair. What I should have done is take a picture. Finally when she left and I was next, when I got in her office, I sat on the other chair.
The only person who represented Citibank in a professional manner was Brady Morejon who was monitoring the customers sign in sheet as he tried to help.
Thank God I have online banking and I went paperless. Years ago that brach was a Citibank where you get good customer service but now it's like a circus.

Citibank has definite customer relation problems.
Maybe this is why so many poor comments and under performing stock valuation.

They're Citibank/visa/Costco card security operations is committing fraud.

I've experienced the most vile and unprofessional customer service to address my concern with verifying my Citibank debit card to add to my Apple wallet. The first representative asked for my verification (which was given) and stated couldn't verify it in the system, even with my new phone number (which I updated) he couldn't send a text message for verification. He was very rude in telling me he could no longer help me and wouldn't explain what wasn't verifiable. I asked requested a manager or supervisor and I was on hold for approximately 10-15 minutes or even longer and he never returned. I don't appreciate the lack of professionalism and vulgar behavior shown to me!

I called a second time and spoked to Glee and recapped my concerns. Much of the same things occurred with no resolution. She was also very rude and kept over talking me, which I despise greatly and of course I didn't mind expressing myself because I've had it with the incompetence of these people and neither need additional customer service training or find other employment since they're incapable of treating customers with respect.

I plan to close my account and bank where I'll receive the respect and professionalism I deserve!

Citibank should seriously consider a Citibank in Port St Lucie , Florida. Area is booming with many homes from people who are coming from out of state and I Citibank customers. Port St Lucie is booming and Citibank could definitely add a lot of business.

There are not any Citibank branches located; but various ATM machines in the city of Toledo, OH. I am trying to access account information but no luck. The customer numbers were in Spanish, being transferred and the transfer was not complete because I could hear the rep typing or finally being transferred and place on hold and then the call being disconnected.

To whom it may concern,

I would like to let Citibank corporate know how disappointed I am with their policy and procedure. It is very alarming that you do not acknowledge California Durable Power of Attorney. It is a legal document that you should honor and you should have ways on how to manage this. The reason why clients bring POA to your financial center is because of valid reasons.

I am under the impression that there is no way you can get your money even if you have legal documents to show and proof that you are the Power of Attorney.

Your associates need more training and not waste your clients time. Very unprofessional and it ruins the image of your financial institution.

I need someone to contact me regarding this. It is very unacceptable.

DO NOT USE CITIBANK!!!! I have been dealing with them since June 2021, I had THREE cards compromised with them. Seven bank transfers were made, then payments were made and returned but NOT BY ME, and I cannot get them to understand this. They keep implying it was me, when I tell them the bank I bank with they ask repeatedly who else do I bank with...NO ONE! They ask me to verify the amount of the charges made...HOW THE HELL DO I KNOW IF I DIDN'T MAKE THEM. Every week I am on the phone spending hours of my life with foreigners who barely comprehend let alone speak English. STAY AWAY FROM CITIBANK!.

Citibank cheats customers by enticing them with a bonus and then not giving it. They don't answer the phones and have the worst customer service I e ever seen.

Your on-line banking sucks. The Citi "maybe" personnel were nice.

Citibank for CitiMortgage/CitiFinancial horrible customer service with no in person help. I been looking for resolution on an old mortgage where an employee at Citibank didn't complete the paperwork and now there is an open lien against my home. I called so many phone numbers, emailed different teams with either no response back and return calls. When you do get someone on the phone they do not handle this issue and can not get you to someone to help with resolution. I am going on over a month with this issue it is unbelievable that you can not get someone to help with this issue.

The reason I contacted the Citibank wire fraud department was not answered for like the 5th time out of 8 times I've contacted them regarding this matter. While i was at work, on the morning of March 18, 2021, I became a victim of someone hacking into my online banking, listing themselves as a payee and made several transactions transferring money from my checking and savings account to another account. Being that I had email notifications set up, I was able to catch it before all of my funds were depleted and contacted you all to which you blocked the account and informed me to go to the nearest branch to open another.

After work, I attempted to contact the fraud department to find out the damage that had been caused, how would my money be recovered, and if there was anything else required of me to do. While on hold during the first two attempts the call was dropped. The third time I was hung up on by the representative. Frustrated, I went into the Burbank branch explained what was going on but was told I would need to schedule an appointment to open a new account and someone would contact me before they closed. I never received a call. Finally, I talked to a rep by phone and explained everything again and he told me that he sent an email to a manager at the Burbank branch to contact me by the end of the day tomorrow, which would be Friday, to schedule me an appointment to come in and open the new account. I didn't receive a call at all the next day and waited until almost end of business day to just go back into the branch.

That evening, I arrived at this Citibank branch in Burbank, CA which wasn't so busy as it usually is and once I got to the clerk and explained why I was there, that I hadn't been contacted and what I needed to do, there was minimum care about my issue and no sense of urgency at all. I explained to them how much of an inconvenience it's been and how I couldn't access any of my money and wasn't going to wait another day to be able to access my money and then they had someone to help me shortly after.

Here it is almost three months later After opening the new checking and savings account and I've heard nothing from you all regarding a solution to the issue. I've filed a local police report, FBI report as well and faxed all the documents over to the wire fraud department as asked and every time I contact you all it's a struggle to get someone on the phone that knows anything. One representative even told me "not to count on receiving my money back" actually to plan on not getting it back because we don't really ever get people their money back in situations like these.

I'm getting married in a couple months, as the money that was stolen from me was for wedding costs and I would like to have that money back. I would like to receive some type of contact, that I didn't have to initiate, from Citibank about this. In the beginning I was told that I would receive letters in the mail informing me of what's going to be done and how I would get my money back. I HAVENT RECEIVED ONE LETTER OR PHONE CALL YET! I'd like to feel as if this is important to you all as it is to me, especially with me being a loyal customer with this bank for almost 5 or 6 years now. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BANK WITH CITIBANK AS I WILL BE TAKING MY MONEY ELSEWHERE.

Citibank lost my safe deposit box. Not only were the contents missing, the box was missing. It was opened in the presence of the bank manager. Instead of attempting to help me they denied liability. I sued them in Florida and they are using every legal tactic to not help a long standing and large customer. Don't get it. Paying attorney fees and losing a customer when negligence is clear.

I am completely disgusted with the way CitiBank is handing my situation....
I am the provider of 4 children. Their father is not in the picture and I have no help at all.. Therefore, I have been providing a home, food and shelter for them on one paycheck...
on June 26, 2020, I was trying to get a loan from Cash Advance America. They deposited $757.00 into my account and I was supposed to let it deposit and send it back to them to verify that it was truly me. Well, then I couldn't get into my account and I contacted customer service. I was informed that my account was in closure mode and there is nothing I can do about the money that was already in the account that was mine.. I have to wait until my check comes in the mail. I think it's completely wrong and I am being punished for a scam that I had no idea about.
Citi bank is the only bank account that all my money goes into & my kids and I are going without because of this incident.
I want to know who I can reach out to so I can try to get my problem resolved. I would love to be able to keep my bank account and be able to access my funds that are MINE!

I called Citi bank last month and let them know I was unemployed due to COVID-19 last month. They let me know they had nothing in place to help customers affected by COVID-19. They told me to call back after 3 days. Keep in mind I called them before payment was due. They still added a late fee, charged me the amount. I spoke to someone 3 days after I missed the payment after I already told them I would. Still nothing implemented for customers affected by COVID-19. I finally spoke to someone 4 days ago, they said they just finally have something in place. They can't help with the missed payment. They said it's due. I let them know I can't pay that and that I already informed them about that before it was due. I am honestly disappointed in this bank. This has affected me greatly. You guys are no help! You waited till people would miss their payments and charged late fees. Now that you have something in place you guys can't help for month of March?! This is ridiculous and it's a smart way of ripping people off. This disease has been affecting people before March. I regret opening a card with your company! Worst Credit Card company to deal with!

I have banked with Citi for over 5 years and have never missed a payment. I found out today the scumbags (Citi) have reduced my credit limits on all of my cards....keep in mind they did this without any notification. When I called and spoke with an account manager, who was of absolute zero assistance she informed me there was nothing that can be done. Now I'm left with my cards maxed out that's how much they were reduced. I will advise cancel your cards with Citi and never do business with a company that doesn't appreciate their customers. I'm waiting a call from the VP as their actions were completely unacceptable. I didn't even receive an apology for the lack of notification. Shame on you Citi you have definitely lost a customer.

I want to recommend Ruth Macarena Bravo from Citibank on Jefferson and Fifth Street in the South Beach, Miami Beach, Florida office to a promotion.

I understand there is a position available in the back office and my husband and I believe she should get this promotion.

We think she is the best personal banker we have ever had at Citibank, or
any of our other banks in Florida and New York.

If you would like to speak to us at any time, please feel free to call us.

She has made us so happy at Citibank, we closed all other bank accounts and put our money into Citibank and also got our son to open an account,
business, savings and joint savings with his fiancee.

Citibank account structuring is designed to confuse and make access to dispute resolution as difficult as possible. Multiple sub-accounts under a business account umbrella create a shell-game for payment misapplications and inappropriate account management.

I called CITIBANK three times on the number on my statement, and when I put my SSAN in, the computer said to call back during normal business hours. I called the number above, and kept hitting ZERo until someone answered. She said they (the collection people) were located in India, and they were only open from 12 NOON until 3PM. She did not know what time it was in India, but that I had to keep calling until they answered.
