Comfort Inn Corporate Office Comments

I just checked at Comfort inn in Elkridge Maryland for the second time within a month. My first visit was pleasant without incident. This time I was told that have to pay a deposit of $150. I was not charged previously . I was told that was the policy
For about a year. I don't smoke and Im was not here to party. I seventy year old woman with mobility issues. I was told by the desk clerk that after the check out my room would be checked and refund wood be given. Is this a homeless hotel or someplace I should not be safe. I have traveled with your brand for years, but no more. I checked with other reservations;to see if this is their policy . Sleep inn said it is not . Doing this with customers has cheapen you brand. After staying twice I won't be back. Comfort inn was a main stray for me when I traveled, with my children, my grandchildren and me as a retiree. You have lost me and I believe your brand will suffer

I don't think that being a Diamond member gets you a better rate or discount, just means you have a lot of points . The hotels jack up the rates as they see fit , I stay at hotels for work 24 days out of the month & can't catch a break & the only thing I hear from Corporate is that the hotel owners can do what they want, so what in the hell is Corporate for?

I recently sent a message to your manager JAY PATEL at the Six Flags GURNEE Illinois Comfort Inn location regarding my stay and nothing has been done or response sent. I fell on your property and NOW am out on disability from the fall. I have HEARD no response and I am in the process of retaining a lawyer because I have been out of work now for almost 3 weeks, and going through physical therapy and doctors appointments from the back injury. This is extremely frustrating and I would appreciate some type of response for this issue! Thank you!

We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Watertown NY for a night with our daughter. We specifically chose this hotel for the pool as our 3 year old was so excited to swim. We checked in and went to dinner. When we came back we got our suites on and my husband went downstairs to see how crowded the pool was. It was posted on the door that the pool was closed. He went to the front desk and sure enough the pool was broken. It would have been nice to have been notified of this at check in. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. Next time we will probably choose a different Hotel even though we have stayed at this one several times.

I recently stayed at the comfort inn in woodland,CA. We ran out toilet paper, I went to front desk to ask for an extra roll. I was then informed that they didn't have no toilet paper. They were waiting on supplies. My wufe and daughter had to used napkins. On the second day there still wasn't no toilet paper available, we had to go to the Walmart down the street to purchase toilet paper. That's unacceptable we decided to leave on day three.

Stayed 2 nights at Comfort inn at Sullivan Mo. told man answering phone that my husband is disabled. Comfort inn was best hotel in Sullivan a few years ago. Rm 103 has hole in the wall in the bathroom. Floor was black, hadn't been mopped forever. My husband couldn't get in the tub to shower. Bed was way too high for him to get in it. He slept in the chair for 2 nights. Coffee pot didn't work. Room smelled musty. I had one night charged to my checking account and the other to a credit card. But, he put both nights on my checking accoint cause ing me a $35.00 overdraft fee of 36.00@

We have been members of Choice Hotels rewards for about 10 years. Husband stayed at Terre Haute Quality Inn on the night of 8/3/2023. He said the phone didn't work, and the bathtub faucet was cheaply rigged, it was run down all around. He only stayed because it was late. We want you to know that your brand is being represented by such neglected properties. I have a photo of the bathtub faucet, but there is nowhere here I can post it.

Stayed at the comfort inn suites in Chicopee / springfield Massachusetts front staff was real nice . The room was a different story room curtains had stains and side of bed had dried body fluids (really) kind of gross. Shower base also was stained. Main entrance of hotel was nice but as you left the area the hotel started to go down hill including hallways and room . Spent money hoping to stay at a class hotel and felt like I stayed in an hourly room . Will never return to this hotel will try others in future trips very disappointed

Booked a room for 3 nights at your hotel in Hannibal on Market st. Came in at 1am on 23rd. Went to 3rd floor came off elevator heavy cigarette smell, went to room same, was given another room on opposite end of 3rd floor not as bad but still cigarette smell. Have allergy to residual of cig smoke, so eyes burning, nose plugged tried to sleep. Was given another room on 2nd floor better. When leaving 3rd floor noticed worker had her child with her while cleaning. Honestly believe that employees are living on 3rd floor. Front desk was empty the majority of the time. They were outside smoking and chatting. I watched one girl run from the patio area outside to hotel when she saw a car pull up. Totally no supervision at your hotel. If there had been another hotel in this area that had openings we would have left. Will never stay here again and will really have to think about staying at your hotel at all. Not what we expected. Really think someone needs to check out this hotel site.

On April 29 I made a reservation for two nights at Lawrence,KS Comfort Inn. Since it was graduation weekend at Kansas University in Lawrence the price was elevated to $695.00 When I tried to cancel on May 1 I was told by general manager Mehul that I would have to pay the whole price, although the confirmation I received said I could cancel any time. (Two small lines above that statement said free cancellation was only until April 11 which I assumed meant there might be a charge but certainly not the whole price.) Finally after several phone calls (he hung up on me once) Mehul said if he could rent the room he wouldn't charge me. I was relieved because a check the week before graduation showed the other motels in town were full. However, a week later Mehul informed me I would have to pay the whole price which I found very odd since the town had been packed. However, being 500 miles away all I could do was pay, feeling I was writing the check in blood. News travels fast in Lawrence and the staffers at KU who find housing for celebrities who come to speak and perform (which, in the past few years have included everybody from Bill Clinton to the entire Broadway last of West Side Story to the Beach Boys, ) do not think highly of the Comfort Inn.

We experienced rude front desk help and dirty conditions and decided to not stay at that time.

We stayed in Laurinburg NC, we came in from out of state for a funeral. The first appearance is good. The receptionist that night was very professional and knowledgeable and courteous. She found our reservation and booked our rooms. We had to switch rooms because the fan in the bathroom would not shut down, that was no problem. She was very helpful with that as well. The next thing was that our used towels were removed but not replaced. Including the bath mat. Which we had to get back ourselves. Ok, not too much of a big deal. We did not have time to worry about things, we are grieving and just want to be able to be able to concentrate on what we came for. The next thing though is NOT ok, I was in the bathroom, a BED BUG Is walking across the floor. I immediately try to inform management, the receptionist that has been there for the past day is not very motivated and barely nods her head while sitting down when we walked in prior times. We are informed that the manager was too busy to talk to us. I explained the situation to the clerk, she passed it on to the manager who advised her what to do, seemingly not to busy to listen to her. They said they would send the janitor , which I declined because we were getting dressed. As we came down to reception, I showed the bed bug to the staff. I have not seen a less surprised reaction than that in a loooong time. The first thing the manager, now available because I've seen her sitting unoccupied in her office , said. We will make an adjustment. I told her it was not about the money, but about the fact that I got the cold shoulder treatment after trying to help her out about letting her know the hotel has a bug issue. Bed bugs is not an easy thing to deal with, I'm not willing to have a bed bug issue because a hotel which we paid for is unable under this management to rid the problem. Now we can not take our luggage into own houses without drastic measures, making sure we do not get infested.

Reservations were given for us to stay at a comfort inn and we couldn't go swimming because the pool was down and dirty .We were totally disgusted the brick around the pool we deserve a better place and a better comfort inn in Jacksonville a free night or two. We were out of state and we couldn't even for a swim because the pool and the surroundings were not clean. Cuts in the concrete around the pool where she could have cut her feet.

Arrived at the complimentary breakfast- to find a TIP JAR on the counter.

Excuse me but exactly what service is being provided here that warrants a tip ??

I prepared my own food
I served myself
I cleaned up after myself

All as expected

So what makes this company think I should tip anyone??

Either pay your people better or provide a service that actually warrants the POSSIBILITY of your staff EARNING a tip for service OVER AND ABOVE WHAT IS EXPECTED.

It's not my job to pay them for just "doing their job"

On March 30,2023 my husband and I were returning home from the University of Iowa Eye Institute. We arrived in Grand Island Nebraska around 10 P.M. I am blind and travel with a dog guide from Guide Dogs of America. We were turned away from the Comfort Inn because the man at the desk said the pet room was occupied. We told him that this dog is not a pet and by law we can not be turned down service in this public place. He told us to go across the street and try there. I was angry and humiliated but because we were tired and due to the late hour and the fact we had another day of travel, we did not do what we should have to handle the matter. Rather than call in the police to confirm the law we left.
Being blind is made difficult by the ignorance of employees that are employed by companies like yours. It is obviously is not of any importance for you to give the training of the assessibilty law. I carry my dogs paperwork and the law with me. I am a firm supporter of companies like yours to be fined for not following the law.

Hi I am stay at the airport comfort Inn location. Our family blocked rooms for a rate of $84 a night but I was charged more for tonight. Also the front desk man said I had to pay for my room on full yesterday for both nights. I told him I wanted to pay cash upon my check but he said I had to pay then with my credit card. Never heard of this. He also told me I had to speak with the manager regarding the higher price for the room. Today I went to the front desk rang the bell no one was on sight. What should I do? Should I write a letter to cooperate!

My husband worked briefly for the Comfort Inn in Evanston Wyoming but only lasted a little over a week before leaving due to the absolute immature way this hotel was run. The manager had her boyfriend with her 100 % of the time wether she was helping a customer or hiding away together in her back office. My husband was then told I was not able to spend his lunch break with him and he needed to focus on nothing but his very simple duties. Talk about someone promoted well before they were ready and let what they assumed was absolute power go straight to their heads. Rules applied to everybody except herself as far as she was concerned so my husband left for a better job with a company that knew how to treat their employees with respect. 2 weeks after leaving the company he went in to return the shirts they had provided him and to pick up what little paycheck was owed to him and was told he wasn't going to receive a check for another month because of paperwork not being turned in (but thankfully my husband kept copies of everything) and took her copies of his copies as well as uniform but was told there just wasn't a check for him from them and they owed him nothing. He just happened to catch her by surprise after he had been told she'd be on vacation for the next week and nobody could reach her but came back into the building less than 10 minutes later and she was miraculously at the front desk. By her rudeness and inability to face matters head on proved that she is no more than a child who believes she's in control of her own little kingdom but is unwilling or even able to handle a very basic situation. The average employee working under her lasted less than a month and it's been made very clear why that has been the case. When asked to involve the corporate offices my husband was told that things would be played out as she saw fit and not to count on being compensated for any of his time working for that particular comfort inn. Without an immediate and appropriate response from the corporate office we have decided that we will be taking legal action unless the mess this girl made is rectified ASAP. There was no cause for any of this mess to take place and whoever decided the girl managing their hotel was in any way prepared, trained or even cared about the position she was to represent with dignity and pride should obviously not hold the position they supposedly earned any more than she should be even making beds in their establishment. We are aware the short time my husband spent there was rather small but have decided to legally pursue the matter simply because no company, big or small, should ever treat the employees that make the whole thing possible feel like dog crap they happened to step in and then expect the maids to smile while cleaning their shoes. The entire situation is wrong no matter how you choose to look at it and clearly needs a visit from the higher uppers and should be restructured from top to bottom. If I happened to be in charge over this particular hotel I would hide my face away knowing full well I truly failed what had once been a great name and a proud company to work for. Shame on all of you!

I could t be more please with our stay at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Sturbridge, MA. I have to send out s special recognition to an outstanding desk clerk. Nour. He was exceptional in every way. Whoever made the choice to hire him made a great choice.

Checked into Rocklin California comfort inn oct 14. The entire front of the hotel was blocked by fleet construction trucks. Tree service & paving company trucks. Parked indiscriminately in fire lanes (red curb) & loading (yellow curb). I asked the desk clerk to ask them to move as I didn't feel safe. She refused, refused to give her name, refused to give her managers name or number. Then ran & hid in back office. Couple days later I asked a different clerk. She said is case of fire, the fire department would call these guys to move their trucks before fire trucks arrived. Seriously!? I finally called the police, they're here now, hopefully getting it resolved. Your customer service could not have been worse. Please rectify future similar situations. Thank you.

We recently stayed at comfort inn at 412 white bridge place in Nashville. Our original reservation was mad in back in April 2022, we were meeting with my elderly in laws (82&78). A week prior to arriving my in laws called to inform us they made a mistake on what dates they would be in Nashville, my wife called and adjusted the dates with comfort inn. We arrived on Thursday as we had changed the dates to after a 15 hour drive, checked in paid cash and cash deposit all was well. We left Friday morning to meet her parents downtown Nashville for brunch as our food got to the table someone called from the hotel saying our stuff was to be removed from the room and we were suppose to check out by 11. Had to pay for a lunch we didn't get to eat and parking. Went back to the hotel to find out what happened, the person my wife spoke with when she changed the reservation messed up and only booked for the 1 night instead of adding the Thursday to our original Friday only. We straightened that out and paid for a second night. After we checked out and left I looked at my bank statement and they took out an additional $34, I called and was told they had made a mistake on the first night that I paid cash for so they charged to the card on file. If they did make a mistake on the first night it should of been taken care of when we straightened out the messed up reservation not wait till I'm gone with no phone call and just charge a card. We had to pay for a lunch we didn't eat and pay and extra $20 for parking when we went back to meet back up with my in laws. We have stayed at same hotel the year prior and had planned to make this place our spot every year. I have stayed at comfort inns for years and never had anything like this. Guess it's time for a change

I was ripped off over $300.00 by Choice Hotels by false advertisement and false customer service information.
They had a promotion; stay two nights between April and May. I stayed 3 nights during the time frame and now they won't validate the offer. Today, I was told the offer expired. On May 8,2022 customer service said offer was valid "for 365 days in the continental US with no black out dates.". I am reporting this to the attorney general office.

On June 18, 2022 we stayed at Comfort Inn Warrensburg Station, Warrensburg, MO. We had reservations for 3 rooms and we
were thrilled when we went into our rooms! What a beautiful and inviting room. It actually looked brand new. The room was clean, the bathroom was spotless and all the amenities you needed were there.

The bed was the most luxurious I have ever slept in. I told my sister we needed to check out the brand of mattress we slept on as I am ready to find a place to purchase one for my bedroom at home. The sheets and pillows were absolutely wonderful. None of us wanted to get up this morning.

The breakfast buffet was wonderful. There was a large assortment of food, from yogurt to biscuits and gravy. The coffee was wonderful. The staff kept everything stocked.

It was a busy place today as there were a number of weddings in an around Warrensburg over the weekend.

I could go on and on. This particular Comfort Inn should be the benchmark for all other hotel chains. We've stayed in other "chain" motels that I was scared to get in the beds or walk across the floor.

So hats off to the management and the employees of Comfort Inn Warrensburg Station, Warrensburg Mo.

I recently stayed at the comfort
Inn East Naples I-75. I have stayed at Comfort Inns many times over the years and have never had such a horrible experience. I have pic available if you would like to see them. Most importantly, security was 100% absent. There were 5 in my party and each of us were able to get a room key without ID. I even asked for a key for a random room and it was made for me. There was also a sign on the back door stating it was broken but a Camera can "see" who enters. Really??? The police were at the hotel 3 of the 4 nights we stayed. I will be hitting social media to warn everyone of the dangers of staying at the Comfort Inn. I would appreciate a quick response letting me know what my recourse is.

We stayed at the Confort inn, in Streetsboro, Ohio on December 7, 2021 this place was absolutely filthy! We reserved the whirlpool room and the jets were so dirty I went across the street to Target to get stuff to clean it and the jets. Our bedding had blood on the sheets when we went down to tell them they handed us new sheets to change our own bedding! The next set of sheets were dirty and not the right size, went down again and the sheets they gave us that fit still had stuff on them. When we pulled the bed sheets off, there was hair on the mattress cover, blood, and other stuff. We did not notice until we changed the sheets that the bed spread had bright red blood on it and had not been washed. Went to take a shower and it was clearly not cleaned because we still had the shampoo bottle in there from someone else. The flyer to leave your thoughts was so old and not changed that you could see peoples drink rings. The windows had so much condensation that the window ledge was rotting. The heater turned off on it own through the middle of the night making it cold and when turned back on in the morning it would not stay on, like they wanted you out of there. When I confronted them with my concerns in the morning like I was told to the night before, they tried to act shocked! That would have been great if others had not complained about blood on sheets and how dirty things were, they were not happy when confronted with this. They gave us a $11.30 credit which is bs seeing as I cleaned their whirlpool tub, changed my own sheets, and all the other stuff. I even showed them pictures, before and after of the jets.

The Comfort Inn and suites at 7801 Scott Street White Settlement, Tx Was dirty, poorly managed and over charged me for my service dog. Over a 10 day stay they only cleaned the room twice and claimed the dog stained the sheets so they could not be cleaned. Same dog and I just spent 14 days in motels across the country with no complaints or extra charges.

On October 29 through the 31st I had booked a room for my husband and two sons to attend a funeral in Chattanooga Tennessee. They were at the Comfort Inn Hamilton place on Shallowford Rd. On October 30th they left the first floor hotel room to attend the funeral service. Upon their return to the room they couldn't get in because oddly the door was locked from the inside. The desk clerk had to shimmy the door open for them. When they got inside they found someone had stolen their luggage, shoes, my husband's medication and even his dirty laundry. Everything was gone and the window was left open. The staff wouldn't call the police, my husband had to call. Chattanooga PD filed a report. Needless to say they weren't staying that night because they had stolen his medication and it wasn't safe. They left with the clothes on their backs because they stolen everything else. The staff said they would cancel out the rest of the stay and refund the entire stay. We've been in contact with the site & corporate and we still haven't received a refund yet nor has anyone filed a claim for the items stolen. They are claiming no liability for the incident. You should be safe in the establishment, period and if a loss occurs then you should be taken care of. This is the worse that no one has called us to follow up with us yet! The manager Kara has not called back after leaving multiple messages. Awful customer service and just a lack of any empathy. Don't stay at this hotel! It's not safe. The police said that someone's laptop was reported stolen from this same location they had come out to file a report recently. I'm so frustrated with the way this was handled.

Stayed at the Sleep inn in Decatur Illinois. Someone else had a room key to my room. Came into my room in the middle of the night. Talked to the guy working the front desk in the morning and asked if I was the room that was switched. Well if I was in the room that was switched maybe someone could have came and let me know. I guess when you enter the walls of this fine place. They let you know by not letting you know. The only reason I stay here is because my company pays for it.

Comfort Inn Va beach VA. Trying to charge my boyfriend again for a room we paid for , two weeks later after we stayed . We called and spoke to the manager and she said it was a glitch in the system and so forth .. bank statements clearly states that we paid and now they're going to take money out of our check for a room we got weeks ago . We tried to dispute but comfort inn has something on their end , so we can't . I just think the manager or whoever trying to scam . The money was clearly taken off the card the first time . How is there a glitch in the system weeks later after the transaction. Something ain't right .

It's sad that television personalities can't even feel safe at a Comfort Inn. (This one is in Oak Ridge) How can a hotel/motel book 1 room to someone & give the same room & key to more people! & then the Television personalities don't even get their money refunded?!?! I did post it on Facebook! I'm going to let everyone I know that they should find somewhere else to stay!! Maybe I'll take the post down IF I hear that they did get their money refunded! Otherwise, I don't have anything nice to say about Comfort Inn! Maybe they should hire better managers & employees that don't give the same room to more than one person!

Booked a pet friendly room with a desk clerk. Called the day before reservation and was told I didn't not have a pet friendly room waiting for me. Refused to give me my refund. Stole $1000 dollars from me. You are thieves

I specifically paid for a certain day at a certain hotel for my daughter's birthday party upon arrival to check in the pool was still closed for Coronavirus. Even though it's blatantly said on the website that it was open. Dry I canceled my reservation because obviously that's the only reason I wanted to stay in that hotel and never got refunded still to this day over a month later never got my money back and never got to stay. $110 down the drain at a time like this is ridiculous. I don't know much about this hotel but I know I will never work there again.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the one on Cleveland TN. First room smelled like an old ashtray. Rooms 2 &3 smelled of mildew. Room 4 the water in the tub would not stop running. Room 5 smelled of mold and mildew. Room 6 smelled of mildew and there was mold in the bathroom. It appears that they may not have cleaned it either. Several of other of guests checking in also had complaints. You should be ashamed that you have allowed your hotels to be turned in to a subpar facility. Personally this will be my last stay at any choice hotel. It is apparent that you care very little about a quality product or the Comfort of your patrons.

My husband and I reserved a room for the weekend of June 25-June 27, 2021 at the Comfort Inn South in Indianapolis, IN. We were given a room on the first floor because the elevator was not working. The window in the room did not lock nor did the window in the hallway outside the room have a lock on it. My husband informed the front desk and was told maintenance would be contacted and come to the room and repair. We waited over an hour and no one came. We went back to the front desk and were brushed off by a belligerent front desk employee who was annoyed with our complaint and concern. We never unpacked and were at the hotel no longer than two hours. We canceled our reservation but were charged for one night. We will not stay at a Comfort Inn ever again.

We stayed in your Lancaster county Pa hotel and it was quite the disappointment to say the least. There was an odor of smoke in the room, MOLD on the walls in the bathroom and the toilet seat was disgusting. We asked to be moved to a different room but we should not have had to do that. It was $188. Per night and for Lancaster County that is ridiculous. If the rooms were cleaner and updated it would have been worth it. We were very disappointed!!

Amazing experience at Comfort Inn and Suites in Glenn Mills PA. Joseph was the kindest, most helpful front desk attendant that I've ever met! We had an infant with us to take our son to appt at the children's hospital nearby. The suite was very spacious for all the baby and kid stuff we had. Joseph saw us go outside to swim and brought us towels. They kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. I recommended this to all the families we know that attend the hospital nearby.

I am now staying at the comfort inn on east Dixie Asheboro NC. Been here since the 27th of may 2021 and leaving on the 5th and have my room cleaned only once in 4 days. Can't get any service because they are short handed. If that is the case then don't rent these rooms out. What happened to this company talking about how clean and safe it is to stay here
This is absolutely disgusting and I feel that I have been neglected. I also feel that something should be done immediately, or maybe it's time to call the health department about this issue. Hope to hear from someone soon about this matter

My husband and I went to Nashville in February for our anniversary and unfortunately got stranded there due to all that nasty ice and snow around Valentine's Day. After our flight was cancelled, we ended up at Comfort Inn (2521 Elm Hill Pike) near the airport in Nashville, TN.

Were were stressed as we had a child at home awaiting our arrival, and our flights continually were getting cancelled. We ended up staying 2, almost 3 (rented a car and drove home) additional nights at the Comfort Inn and can't tell you how awesome the Manager, Chuck, was at that location. He did everything he could to make sure we had what we needed and helped in anyway he could. I wanted to make sure that I took the time to let corporate Comfort Inn know what a great asset you have at that location with Chuck being the Manager. I apologize for not having his last name but it shouldn't be hard to find out. I hope he is still with your hotel and I hope you reward him in some way for being great at his job!!

With the world the way it is today, it's important to share the things about people when they truly make a difference!

I wish I would've read reviews before I stayed at the Comfort Inn Suites in Conway, Arkansas. I preregister to save money.. nope I lost over $80. since they couldn't find the other registration. I reserved 2 rooms.
I had to purchase another room and was assured that I would not be charged.. wrong. I'm unable to get anyone to accept responsibility for this extra charge. DO NOT USE

A friend and I recently stayed at Americas Comfort Inn in Leavenworth, KS. Even at the low rate I was disappointed. There was not staff readily available for check-in or check-out. There was NOT a smoke alarm present only wires in the ceiling. The phone was not functional, but staff replaced, with an unclean phone. There was paper peeling from the ceiling and towel rack in bathroom was rusted. General facility looks rundown. Before leaving I had to kill a small cockroach on the nightstand. I will not book at another Comfort Inn. I'm not even sure you are the right people to contact.

My God! SO many negative things to say about a hotel chain! Perhaps looking into your hiring process would be a good idea. My reservation was for the Comfort Inn and Suites in Miami Springs. My reservation was for Nov. 19th through the 23rd. When I first came came in, the new receptionist was by herself and could not locate my reservation, which is fine, but she definitely needed someone to be there with her. I waited patiently (for way over an hour)for my room, reassured her that its really not a problem, as it wasnt her fault at all. Got my room key and went on my way. There's nothing in the room about activities/tourist attractions that most hotesl have in their guests' rooms, nor was there any guidance about what's on the property (i.e. the gym, or if there was a spa) On Saturday Nov. 21st, I received a call from the manager ( a very angry sounding individual) that I needed to sign some form. When I got to the hotel, I went straight to my room to put my things down and was going to make it to the front to see what it was that I needed to sigh. However, I was locked out of my room. I went down stairs to confront this rude person, who ended up being the manager with the biggest ego ( I have everything on video, as I do plan on suing this company) about why I was locked out of the room. On the video his body language will show that this was done intentionally. I was infuriated. I went back up stairs to put my belongings down and then went down again to get a copy of what I just signed. He refused to do it, this too, is on a video. The new shift came in and the woman (on video as well) told me that she couldn't make the copy because he's her supervisor. I waited 7 minutes for a copy of a stupid piece of paper that he did not want photo copy. This unprofessional, disgusting and inconsiderate sub-human's name is Jamal Guyton. I have never dealt with such lack of professionalism in a hotel setting like this. This killed my vacation. I had forgone a lot of things about this hotel and what they call breakfast and what they actually serve, including everything that I mentioned here, but this was despicable.

We are staying at a Comfort Inn in Maumee, OH. None of the employees wear masks, in spite of a state wide mandate. We aren't getting our room tidied daily, for fear of getting exposed to COVID.Annoying and worrisome.

My son stayed at the Comfort Inn in Tallahassee an when he woke up this morning 1 of the maids had come in his rom while he was sleeping an took everything he owned including his jeans, phone, overnight bag an all leaving him asleep in his underwear only. He over slept as his phone was his alarm clock an when he woke up an noticed he called the front office an they said they had found it which is total bull. He told them to bring his stuff back to his room or he would come down there in his underwear. They did bring it too him but I do not recommend staying at this comfort Inn unless you want to be robbed blind. He did have $50 missing from his wallet also.

Comfort Inn and Suites - Pueblo CO. I moved to Colorado and am staying at this hotel for a month. The second night here, my vehicle was broken into and things were stolen. I spoke with the front desk and all they said was "Sorry about that." The hotel is not taken care of, could use a lot of cleaning, and the staff do not seem to care about their customers. I have always had great stays at Comfort Inn but this one has been horrible. Now I am stuck at a hotel where I do not feel safe and that could care less.

My husband and I stayed at Comfort Suites in Fernandina Beach FL on two separate occasions. Aug 11 week-end and Sept 27. We were there as it was my son's birthday in Heaven. We decided we would come back for his anniversary of his passing. Sad times for me. As we checked out in August we asked if we were to book early enough could we request 3rd floor ocean view for the 27th of Sept. We were advised that that would work as we are Diamond members. My husband booked the room over a month in advance and requested third floor ocean view. He called last week as a reminder. Was advised that they would do the best they could. We arrived on the 26th about 1:00. We were advised check in is 4:00 and we have to come back at 4!! We reminded the clerk (Cherisia) that she would call us when our room is ready if it is before 4:00 She never called. We went back to check in about 3:50. Cherisia was not there. We had the most unpleasant clerk (Josie) treat us with no respect at all. We asked as a Diamond member for the 3rd floor ocean view. Her response was that the 3rd floor is still being cleaned by staff and not ready yet. I said it is check in time and a whole floor not ready? We said we will wait for it then..she said it doesn't work that way. Said we get the room they choose and not what we choose. I was getting ill by this time so I sat down but could hear her telling my husband that he can be upset as he wants but it will not change and basically to get over it. She spoke over him and rolled her eyes when he asked for a manager on duty. She said she was the MOD even though the sign said Juan Robles. By this time I am in tears seeing my husband being treated like he was nothing. My husband was trying to make the worst day of my life ( my sons passing) to be one of comfort to me. We were assigned a room on the second floor. My husband just said "can't you make an acception here". She told us there are other hotels! We went to the 3rd floor...there were no maid carts up there and plenty of rooms appeared available. We then saw a couple who checked in AFTER us about 10 minutes later go to the 3rd floor! My husband went back to the desk and told her he doesn't like being lied too. She said nothing. Never an apology or one kind word. Period! I was so saddened by this whole experience. We are Diamond members and question what that really means. First of all 4:00 check in? You cannot have a request honored or respected. Being mistreated by Josie will not bring us back to your hotel ...any of them! She says no to the 3rd floor for us, but people behind us can? So what is it? First come first serve wasn't it? Requesting didn't do any good. So tell us please what diamond member means. We will add one positive word. As we were checking out on the 27th my husband told the young man how sad we were and our treatment was terrible as Diamond members. HE apologized and thanked us for being Diamond members. Maybe Josie needs to be trained better...

Comfort Inn in Ocean Springs MS: Our stay was not a good one. There was no hot breakfast because the staff said the state would not let them serve breakfast during Covid 19. We got a hot breakfast at a Hampton Hotel also in MS a couple of days earlier(?). Smoke and television noises filter through from the room next to us and there were bugs, a centipede looking insect crawled out of our air conditioner and up the wall (really creepy). The staff was indifferent to our needs. I would be hard pressed to stay in another Comfort Inn. Not a good stay.

I stayed in Ukiah, CA on August 8, 2020 and had a problem with my CLC card. CLC fixed the issue but my AmEx was charged and has yet to be returned to me. I have emailed a copy of my AmEx, drivers license and the form the Comfort Inn sent me over 2 weeks ago. I have a crew that usually stays 10 days at a time with 3 to 4 rooms each time. Comfort Inn will not be receiving any of my corporation's business in the future, all over $109.89. I hope people stay away from Comfort Inn in Northern California.

I have complaints on my stay at Comfort Inn in York Neb. The manager won't call me back. We had bugs in our room, ice buckets were dirty, drawers in rooms were dirty. Rooms 206 and 208 no hot water in room 206. I left the bugs with front desk clerk. Horrible stay. I think a full refund should be coming to me.

I need you to know my experience at the Comfort Inn in Lansing IL; which has me never, ever wanting to stay at another Comfort Inn. First of all the number on the website was a third party; can't resolve problems with them or location. So, when I got to the location; the reserved prepaid nonrefundable two queen bed room was unavailable. Long night; no power at home; no place else to go; had no choice but to stay in King bed with let out couch room. I was with my adult son; so that means we don't sleep in the same bed. He needs bed because of illness and sleep machine. Get to room no linen on couch; have to request linen and make up couch myself. Go to bath; find used dirt face towel on counter and used bar of soap stuck to tray; call down to front desk to complain. Okay, go back to let out couch; so uncomfortable; I yell to my son who is now using the bathroom; that I'm not going to be able to sleep on this couch. So, now we have to share a bed. Okay, it's big enough; no problem. Get in bed; turn over on my right side as to not face my son; look over and there is a used condom on the night stand. Night clerk came up removes condom; apologized and assured me he would make a note of it. Next morning go down speak to GM; nothing can be done until they communicate with third party. But, we will move you to another room. Contacted third party, they claimed they could not reach the hotel. Stay the second nonrefundable night. Made arrangement at Hampton Inn in neighboring state and spend the next three nights in a clean comfortable two queen bed room.

We recently stayed at your hotel. I can honestly say I have never had such poor customer service nor such an unpleasant experience at a hotel.

From the first drive thru the parking lot with derelicts hanging around looking to steal from vehicles, grilling in the parking lot, urinating on the sidewalk we were already concerned. Then, upon entry, we were assaulted with the extreme smell of cigarette smoke that permeated both the entire lower floor and the rear elevator which was filthy. It was late so we decided to hope things got better and went to our room (555).

It is our custom to shower before bed, and especially this night, as we had an early morning call. Immediately realizing there was only one towel in a room booked for two, we called the desk to ask for more. We never received them that night at all.

The next morning I spoke to the desk before we left, in the hope that all of this could be rectified. As we left, there were people sleeping in the parking lot, garbage, booze bottles and cigarette butts everywhere. Unfortunately that was not to be the case. When we returned late in the day the parking lot was filled with police cars, most of the derelicts were missing but the trash was still everywhere. We came in thru Outback where we had a late lunch and was informed by the staff of the restaurant that the hotel was housing homeless people as a source of revenue. While that is an admirable thing to do, it should not be to the danger and inconvenience of paying guests. Once again the hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. I have asthma. This put me in severe discomfort. Again, the rear elevator was filthy. Again we felt we were forced to spend any time locked in our room for safety sake and had to watch our car out our window for fear of theft.

Fortunately this was to be our last night at this hotel. Of course, when we returned, there were NO towels in the room at all. Not just one this time, but none. I immediately called the desk and requested towels and two extra pillows to support my husband who has a bad back. After 3 more calls we were told that housekeeping was gone for the day and we could come get it ourselves. I had no intention of running the gauntlet of drug users and creeps in that hallway again and requested a manager. I was unceremoniously dumped into voicemail and never received any response. Finally after approximately an hour someone knocked on the door and gave us 4 towels but not pillows. I gave up. This was going to have to do. Thank god it was the last night in this hellhole.

You would think this would be then end. We would leave in the morning and it would all be over. Unfortunately no. We were forced, in the morning to ride down in the still filthy elevator, with the accompaniment of urine on the floor. Someone had urinated in the elevator. And we had no other option to ride in it because the stairwell and the only other elevator on the floor were locked, creating a fire hazard and once again endangering me and my family.

I have contacted corporate Comfort Inn. I would have thought that they would want to know the conditions at one of their hotels. I am not sure that is the case but I am going to copy them on this email also.

I would think that you would refund our money. This certainly is not how I expected to be treated at a "Comfort Inn."

So much for comfort

We stayed at Comfort Inn in Barboursville, WV July 18 & 19 and had to look at 3 different rooms before we got one that did not smell like mildew. Additionally, we fought ticks for both nights we were there. Infested as we saw about 10, one on the neck of my pajamas. We knew our sheets would not be changed for 3 days, we only stayed two nights, but no beds were made, no clean towels, toilet paper, or soap that we needed offered. I am headed out in a couple of weeks to Berlin, OH, but definitely will not even look at a Comfort Inn for lodging. So disappointing and totally unacceptable. I generally leave a tip for the cleaning staff, of course, that did not happen.

RE: Comfort Inn & Suites
3610 Dawn Drive, Lumberton, NC, 28360, US
Date: June 23-24, 2020

My Husband and I stayed at this hotel on the night of June 23, 2020. We had been traveling since early that morning and checked in approximately dinner time. We checked in and then went to eat dinner then came back to sleep. We had to leave early in the morning to continue our travels and we were extremely tired. After we were all showered and ready for bed, we discovered our bed sheets were stained with many stains! It was shocking and disgusting! The towels also were not clean looking. The face-cloths looked like they had been cleaning rags that were washed but stained and not acceptable at all. There were what appeared to be "crumbs" between the sheets as well. This was a dirty guest room, not at all acceptable! We would not recommend this hotel to anyone nor would we want to stay there ever again. The breakfast was supposed to be included however under the current COVID circumstances I do understand that they could not serve breakfast, however they could have either discounted the rate or given us more than a bottle of juice. We did not feel comfortable here and could not wait to leave. NOT a COMFORT hotel as the name suggests! I feel we were ripped off. The room was totally unacceptable.

I am disappointed there is no hot breakfast offered with my stay. That was one of the selling points when I booked my stay. Now I will have to go somewhere else and spend more money to eat breakfast. I feel I should be discounted for this expense and inconvenience. This is an expense I had not compensated for. I have stayed at many Choice hotels and this is the first time this has happened.

My name is Lisa Jolley. I booked a room at Comfort Inn Rochester/Greece NY on February 27th to watch my 7 year old grandson in States wrestling in Brockport on Saturday the 14th. My reservation was for the 13th of March check in 4 pm till the 14th of March. Due to the Corona Virus the tournament was cancelled. Comfort Inn will not refund my money but instead want to give me points. If I cancelled my reservation just for the heck of it I would understand, but I have no control over the Government shutting down events due to nation wide panic of a epidemic. I am disputing this with my credit card. All other hotels, such as Fairfield are refunding customers. Step up Comfort Inn.

My name ids Edward Perez and I had reservations through booking.com. I had to cancel Aug.18, 2018 and met the cancelation criteria. Comfort Inn located at 4441 Central Place., Cordelia, Ca. stated their system had an error and didn't receive the cancelation from Booking.com., and had me and my wife as a no-show. This Hotel charged me $207.92, plus holding $307.92 out of my account. That's $515.84 out of Checking. Several emails been sent to the manager Lewis and he has failed to respond or help return my money. Iam asking can you reach out to him. My number is 209 423 9741. Today is Wednesday and no results. I gave Booking.com my bank statement showing the charges they had process and been trying to contact the manager. Their front desk was ask to leave a message when he came in. This frustrating and appreciate your help.

We stayed at Memphis, TN Comfort Inn at 100 N. Front Street on Fri, 25 May 2018. Arrived there early as we drove from Clarksville, TN that morning and were going to a graduation that afternoon and needed to change clothes. We checked at the motel front desk with TASHA to see if, by chance, they had a room ready, at that time, as we had reservations for 2 rooms. TASHA was so very pleasant, nice and accommodating, and luckily, she had 2 rooms ready near each other, and she checked us in early so we could change. TASHA is a very helpful, friendly, and definite asset for any motel to have. Thanks again Tasha in Memphis, 100 N.Front Street.

I am consulting with a lawyer concerning my wife's and my stay at the Comfort Inn in Lawrenceburg Indiana. We were there for my Father's funeral. We checked in on 24 October 2017 and during the night my wife was "eatin alive" by something in the room. We reported it to and showed the manager the bites on her neck and face. She told us maintenance checked the room but found nothing. We changed rooms, left the heat off and all was well. We left early and came home. Comfort Inn, it was not comfortable! Almost wound up in the emergency room. $430.00 for three nights, lost $120.00 because we left early. You will hear from our lawyer.

I am staying at your Comfort Inn on 90 West Experanza in Green Valley, AZ85614. This hotel is a shame to the name of COMFORT. To pay $89 for this "flee bag" hotel is an insult. The carpets are so old and worn and moldy to the extent I do not want to even walk on them. The air cons don't work properly, the rooms are not clean and really, if hotels want to offer pet stays then they should reserve pet rooms. Cat hair on the bed forced me to change my room. I ended with allergy but the re-allocated room was not much better. This is appalling for USA. There were four of us in three rooms and all four of us had the same complaint. I am writing from room 226 (originally in 231)now and cannot wait to get out of this FILTHY hotel. You do need to examine it if it carries your name. I would not recommend this hovel hotel to anyone.

I am wondering who runs your comfort Inn Lincon Nebraska By the Airport Someone named Obi is the Manager, I also want to know why he hired back a great employee for one day to train someone then when she was getting ready for work he called and said he needed the shirts Back. and told her to come in with the shirts and sign a resignation letter . She was a great front desk person got a lot of compliments from the people who stayed in your hotel. and I feel you don't hire someone back yes she quit the first time because he accused her of being 20.00 short on the draw that the caamaras show she never opened and so she quit. she did call an ask for her job back and he said no they he called her and asked if she would cover so he could go on vacation and she had a different job by now then he called her and asked if she could come back for 2 nites a week for start and she did one nite and when she got there she was training someone to do front desk she expexted to work tonite and tomorrow and he called and said he need the shirts back today and she needed to sign a letter I don't think this is a fair way to treat people who are making and helping to make our stay at one of your motels the best stay you ever had..... I have stayed in your motels and have been treated nicely and it was relaxing Thanks for reading this and hope you continue the great business of the motels you represent Thanks. oh yes this was my daughter who loved working at comfort Inn until they accused her of stealing and they she wanted to go back because she liked the job and only to be let go for the manager after she helped him that one nite to train .....

Fort Worth (less) is a bad example for your company. The manager does NOT care about a torn American flag ???? Shame on her. It is now on Facebook, so I hope she gets a big slap on the wrist for her comment.

Dumb and stupid is all I can say about your company. I will never, ever stay at another comfort inn in my lifetime and will tell others also to stay away from you. Go ahead and refuse business from any protesters for the DAPL pipeline because I am sure the other hotels will welcome the business. How stupid are you guys? This is spreading all over the internet and many, many people will boycott comfort inn. Good luck with the bankrupt situation you will be facing ahead.

dear sir...I find it much concern how Bismarck ND comfort handles their policy governing policy on Veterans or any other groups supporting the standing Rock by kicking them out. If this persist surely a boycott will be in order that will effect Canada also. Let me put this perspective more..It was the City of Bismarck who oppose the pipeline first to be rerouted to the Indian reservation fearing their water supply would be affected. Now this is stereotyping and no regard for those marginalized,,,I hope you will consider the situation which only bring more hurt to all///

To Whom It May Concern:
I am so disappointed in your Comfort Inn in Cross Lanes, WV. We had a toy poodle for 17 years (she passed last year) and visited your beautiful facility at Cross Lanes at least 6 times a year. In the past you had at least one or two pet-friendly rooms and I would always hear positive remarks and reviews from folks (as well as us) in the lobby stating how pleased we were to be staying at your Comfort Inn with our pets. Over 70% of travelers now travel with their fur-baby companions. I understand you not wanting a huge pet in your facilities, but at least have one pet-friendly room for small pets and also state someone has to be with them at all times. We have a 4 lb toy poodle and we would never board her or even consider staying at Motel 6........the only place in Cross Lanes, WV that allows pets in the room. If you ever decide to allow small pets in the Comfort Inn in Cross Lanes, WV.........please email me so I can be one of your very first guests.
Have a great day,

I checked into Comfort Inn South When we checked in we identified that a friend had reserved and that we would be taking over the reservation. We gave the clerk our credit card and had it switched- we were told to come back down later to sign the paper authorizing the transfer. We walked down a hallway full of doors that were freshly painted- none were strapped, signs were not posted to identify a hazard and very little space was left for us to maneuver around- creating a horrible egress issue- if there had been a fire, many would have died. The elevator was full of dust, dirt, sand and just absolutely filthy. Also- where the certificate of inspection was to be located- a printed sign stated- SEE FRONT DESK. That is a huge code violation.

When we got to our room- we opened the door and it smelled horribly of dead rodents. We quickly turned the air on. When we came back from dinner we went to lay down only to discover ANIMAL POOP ON OUR PILLOWS. We immediately took them to the front desk and the gentleman stated that the manager and owner would be in the following morning. I suggested that he leave a note so that we could be talked to about this.

When we came down the following morning- we stopped at the desk to speak with LISA BENNETT- who took our pillows and looked at us as if we had done something wrong- no apology from her only a "that's never happened before".

When we came back from our ventures we were unable to get back into our room with any of the keys that had been provided to us. The shower curtain rod was falling out of the wall on either end- so while showering both sides of the curtain would fall to the center exposing us entirely to the cold air. The hair dryer had been removed and when asked if I could get one- I was told "I guess that's part of the renovation".

4 out of our 10 towels had yellow and brown stains on them. The shower curtain had boogers stuck to them, there were crumbs in all of the corners of the room- likely where the rodents were feeding. The room next to us was receiving a vacuum past 9:30pm on our second night.

When we received our bill under the door we were appalled to see that only $15 had been comp'd- that only covered the taxes- THERE WAS POOP ON MY PILLOWS! Also the original party that had booked our room seemed to have been charged for our room even though we had handed over our credit card...

I went to the desk to inquire why we only received this small discounts when all of these issues- including the pool being down (the main reason we booked here)- and including the poop on my pillows. KELSEY- at the front desk pulled up the statement only to reveal that our friend had been charged the FULL PRICE OF OUR ROOM ALREADY- even though they were still going to process the discounted charge on our card!!!!????

I explained very kindly how we had already changed the room over to our name and how we were severely displeased with our stay and that less than 8% discount would not suffice for the animal droppings on my pillows. Kelsey told me to "hold on- one thing at a time". Kelsey called the manager on site Lisa Bennett to assist with crediting the other card back and then charging ours. Lisa had been the person that received our dirty pillows and had ensured that we would have a discount applied- but not once did she acknowledge us or even look at us while she fixed the error on the cards. She then disappeared.

Kelsey then told us to have a good day- I asked her about a discount and she told me there was nothing more she would do for us. I reminded her of the feces in my face on my pillows and she sternly looked at me and said "Ma'am!!!"- as if I was in the wrong.

I am at the point where I will be sharing this entire email with every single social media outlet available to me if I do not get a response from this complaint.

I do not believe that being disrespected and having to pay for the conditions that we were put in is how a hotel should 'take care' of their guests. I believe that compensation is in order and await your response.

I have a gift certificate that I was plan on using April of this year. I had surgery and could not use my certificate. I was hope you might be able to replace this one for another one. Now that I'm getting ready to retire next year I plan on traveling and love your Comfort Inn and Suites. I have two sisters that use your suites and talk highly about their stays. So if you would please replace this for me I would appreciate it very much. I plan on taking a trip soon and will be spending a couple of nights in Orlando. I'm on a fix income and this would help me be able to see my grandkids. They have a small place so choose to stay at the Comfort Inn there. Thank you for your time.

Since I just spent a half hour writing about my complaint and it got lost in hyberspace, I will be brief this time. Last week I was part of a group of 40 senior citizens who stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites at 115 Traveler's Way in Port Wentworth, GA. The first night a bunch of us went down to the room where breakfast is served and played cards. When we were through, we put the tables back in the best way we could remember. The next morning at breakfast, the general manager, Steve, reprimanded our group leader because ONE table was not put back in the correct place. He even took Joe into a room and showed him the camera video of where we put the misplaced table. Really???? The next night the room was locked so we could not go in to play cards. We told our tour guide from Diamond Tours and she knew exactly who we were talking about and knew his name because they had had other complaints about him in the past. We talked to another couple staying there. The female was in a wheelchair and they said when the husband moved the chair at the table so the female could scoot her wheelchair to the table to eat, Steve came up to them and told them to make sure they put the chair back when they were finished. Really???? Needless to say, next time our group travels, we will not book rooms at a Comfort Suite. A group of senior citizens got reprimanded for not putting ONE table back in the exact place it was to begin with. Steve just kept repeating, "Don't move my tables". When he locked us out of that room, we were also told that we were not allowed to use any other rooms to play cards. He had them all locked.

Your comfort Inn is Mountain Home is disgusting I have never stayed somewhere this nasty. The people that work there are beautiful and nice very professional . This Comfort Inn needs a major upgrade. I felt so afraid staying there my lock on my back door was broken I had to put a chair up against it just to feel some kind of safeness. And believe me if there was somewhere else to stay I would have everything was booked. Like I said people who work there are fantastic. The rooms smell of mold and every time I came back to hotel I got sick and so did my colleague. You should really look into this before you get sued. I know if you keep the same people that are there, remold,& upgrade the food you could have a very nice place. I checked in on 1-14-2016.

My husband and I stayed at a Comfort Inn in Lordsburg, NM on October 4th and again on October 15th. Although, my husband thought he was making our reservations directly with Comfort Inn they were made through a third party payer. When I checked out on October 5th we were charged again by Comfort Inn. We discovered this double charge when checking our credit card charges on October 15th. I spoke to the girl at the front desk and provided her with documentation. She contacted her Manager and assured me the charges would be reversed and the Manager would contact me. As of November 1st the charges have yet to be reversed. The girl at the front desk tells me the charges have been reversed but it takes a few days to show up on our credit card. I have spoken with my credit card company and they assure me that they have not yet received a request to reverse the charges. I have made several more calls to the Hotel asking to speak to the Manager and he/she is never there. I was told yesterday that she would be there today. I just called again and was transferred by the girl at the front desk....only to have the phone answered by a small child who couldn't seem to put an adult on the phone!!! I called the front desk again and was told the "manager must have stepped out"!! I am still waiting to speak to her!!!

We contacted the Comfort Suites located at 3001 Highwood Blvd, TN 37167 in regards to a receipt for charges to our company credit card. The gentleman that answered the phone was extremely rude. He said we could not get it until next week the system was down. We called back and asked for the accounts department and the same gentleman answerED and simply stated we don't do the here and hung up on us. We called back the same gentleman answered and we asked to speak with his supervisor. He again said we don't do that here and hung up. This is the worst customer experienced we have ever experienced. I'm currently on hold with the corporate office and have been on hold for a customer relations specialist for over 10 minutes.

I stayed at the Comfort Inn in Mercer, Pa. over Labor Day week-end. My daughter, grandson and I were in the pool when one of the staff came in and told us and another couple there was no drinking allowed; there had been a complaint. Now, you have an indoor pool with a hot tub (my dtr and I were in the hot tub); it was quite hot in there and you have tables, lounge chairs, and chairs all around the pool. Why bother having tables if you can't put a plastic cup down on the table. I have never been to a hotel/Inn before that you couldn't drink in a hot environment whether it was on a cruise ship or at another hotel. I don't understand why not. I guess this was a first and it makes absolutely no sense why a person can't have a drink in a plastic cup around a pool. Please let me know why this is a rule. Thank you

Sincerely,
Susan Eibel

I would like to note my experience at the Comfort Inn, between August 16 - 28, 2015. The room that I am staying in has two beds, on the bed closest to the window I have my suitcase and my clothes laid out for the week and I am using the other bed to sleep in. On Sunday, August 23, 2015, I left my room to let housekeeping come in clean. I had left something in my room and went back to retrieve it. When I returned to my room, I noticed that they had taken all the covers off the bed that I was sleeping in and placed them on top of the bed that had my clothes and suitcase on it. The next morning on Monday, August 24, 2015, I noticed that I was missing two pairs of black dress pants. I went to the front desk to inform the staff of the situation. As I was trying to explain what happened (thinking maybe the pants got mixed in with sheets to go to laundry room), but the front desk clerk kept cutting me off and telling me "no, no, we do not have them". I tried to ask if she could check with housekeeping, but she kept telling me no and that they do not have them (without even checking). Her demeanor was very rude. At that same time I requested to have a new iron to be brought to my room, as the one I had was not working. The same clerk told me she would "put that request in" but I never received a new iron (iron was brought up the next day after re-requesting).

On August 27, 2015, I had placed the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door. Staff had proceeded to bypass the sign and had entered the room, in doing so they had placed the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my closet door. Instantly I did an inventory of my clothes and pulled everything out of my suitcase and noticed two more pairs of black dress pants had gone missing. I notified the front desk and spoke with the manager, over the phone, at the front desk. A police report was also filed on this same date after the second incident (#:2015-08-371, Officer D. Howerd-McIntosh County Office of the Sheriff). I entered this hotel with nine pairs of work dress pants and I am leaving with only five pairs (Approx. $50 a pair). I am staying at this hotel on a FLETC contract and have reported these incidents to the contractor. Theft is unacceptable and this hotel should have higher standards of service, especially when servicing law enforcement personel. Myself and others staying at this hotel have found the front desk staff to be very rude and unprofessional.

Choice Hotels has lost any future business with me.

Why can't there be a rating system of the Comfort Inn so people will know before their arrival what they should expect? My family stayed 8 days at the Comfort Inn in Gunnison, CO and had a fantastic time; everything from the staff to the rooms was enjoyable; the breakfast selections were numerous and tasty. Then on the way home on July 18, 2015 we stayed at the Comfort Inn (KS061) in Dodge City, KS and it was horrific! We had a non-refundable advance purchase of a handicap room with 2 queen beds. When we arrived we were told they did not have any handicap rooms with 2 queen beds, only 1 king. So why did they book the reservation and take our money in April if they know they couldn't accommodate our needs???? That is something very close to fraud. I would not let my grandchildren bath or shower in the tub which had a 5 inch band all around the tub of something that was yellowish and yucky; must assume the tub had not been cleaned in weeks. Something in the mattress poked me all night long as I struggled to keep from rolling to the center. There were few breakfast choices, but plenty of burnt scrambled (powdered) eggs with no seasoning. The afternoon desk clerk was of no help and the early morning desk clerk was either a gang member or a wanna be gang member and English was obviously a second language for him. PLEASE, Comfort Inns if you value our continued business, establish a rating system or correct the problems at your problem hotes.

The Comfort Inn Manager in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, is less than professional! My issue with Jennifer Taylor is that she has yet to return my email, phone calls, and website message to her in a week. The corporate office should reprimand her or at the very least, send her to a hotel management class about how a manager should respond. And why did I want to speak with her? Because I am mother of the bride and there is a hugh problem with the room block reservation! She knows this and still she does not respond to me. Unbelievable!!! Beware!

Attn Comfort Inn Corporate: We stay at Comfort Inn and Suite during our vacations. We've stayed at the Comfort Inn in Bonita Springs Florida for at least 6 years and this year we were not satisfied. I'm a member of Choice Privileges. We paid $126.99 a night last year for 8 days. This year we were charged $170.52 a night, that is a big increase. The new owner would not heat the pool as before. All the regulars did not appreciate having a cold pool as most are seniors. Our toilet seat was broke and after 6 night stay they still didn't fix it.Some regular were charged $140.00 a night. One couple stays 3 months every year and he is now looking for another hotel. They didn't get maintenance done for several people we talked to. I have never complained before and we really liked the area.Could you let me know if things will change next year or should we book some where else? Comfort Inn

I made reservations in the beginning of Feb. 2015 for 6 rooms (my dance team was competing in biloxi, ms.). I soon found out that we needed a hotel that was pet friendly. Do I found one in biloxi. On the same day I made reservations at the pet friendly hotel I called and spoke to the front desk person who answered the phone. I explained to them that I wound not be needing the 6 rooms because I needed A pretty friendly hotel. They quickly rattled of a confirmation # and said everything was taken care of. I've never had the problem before so I wasn't concerned. I checked my bank records and march 1, 2015 they charged my card the amount of one nights stay for all 6 rooms! I called them and let them know that I canceled these rooms and was told everything was taken care of. They do rudely told me if I couldn't give them a cancellation # the charges would remain. So I caked the corporate office and street repeating my story to 3 different supervisors I was told they could do nothing, I would have to take it up with the hotel! !! I have been booking rooms for my traveling dance team for 10 years and have never run into this before. And mind you I am a choice hotels privelage member! If it was for just one room I wouldn't be making such a sink about it but it was a total of 702.96! That is a lot of money for a single mom with a small business! I am not done with this matter yet. My small business is part of the better business bureau and that is my next step! But I would warn anyone that is going to stay there, you need to think twice. This is Def. Not the first time this has happened in this hotel chain. Check out fb sites of the same exact thing happening. .I would not recommend this chain or any other choice hotel chain to anyone, if you want to keep your money! I will continue to fight this not only for myself but for others. This is ridiculous and pure robbery! !

I worked for Comfort Inn in Madison,Indiana.Because my family had to move too far to be able to drive back and forth to work,I had to quit.I never called in,I covered for other employees,I never had any complaints.the only thing I ever asked of the general manager was to fax paperwork to the accountant so they could turn in my work history for the time I was there to our local Medicaid office so my 6 children could get Medicaid.we are a family of 8.right now my husband's overtime was cut at work and I have not been able to work because we can't afford daycare and the long trips back and forth to work.it is a 40 minute drive just to go grocery shopping.faxing paperwork is not very much to ask.but now because Glenda (GM) did not fax it,my children have to go another 2 to 3 months without medical insurance and help with groceries. She was well aware we needed financial help and couldn't just fax one piece of paper.now we have the option every week:buy groceries and our children's medications or buy groceries while she eats good every day and lives worry free about bills.just cold hearted is what it is.why would anybody want to stay at her hotel when she can't do the simplest of things for her employees or friends.how would she do the guest when they need something small?or anything else for that matter.

My recent stay at comfort Inn downtown cleaveland, Ohio was outrageous the manager on duty was Max Baire and he was completely unsatisfactory as far as costumer service and completely unapproachable I am a choice rewards member and I'm filing a complaint right after I leave this comment he turned his back on me as I was speaking to him over a 50$ deposit that he wouldn't returned after accusing me of smoking in my room which was completely false And this guy's attitude was completely unsatisfactory he had no doubt in his mind that he would not here anything me as a paid customer/choice rewards member had to say

My recent stay at Comfort Inn, Atlantic City North was disastrous. The Heat pump was filthy and the filter had not been changed in a year based on the 1" of dust caked on it. Maintenance came after being informed and changed the filter, but never cleaned anything else on the unit. There were bloodstains on the Comforter, the lav sink was clogged and trash under the sofa. My wife was bitten by something twice during the night and I suspect bed bugs. When we were checking out, two employees were having a heated, profanity laced argument in earshot and full view of customers. All this for a mere $160+ per night!
When I left this information as feedback on a follow up e-mail, I received a generic, form e-mail in return regretting that my expectations were not EXCEEDED, and hopefully my experience would be better on my next stay......Really?
I would not stay there again if paid to do so and someone in QA should make a site visit here and reconsider the franchise.
I have no complaints about any Choice Hotel stays in the past, but this place warrants investigation. I have worked in the hospitality industry and understand the business but these are completely unacceptable conditions.

Comfort Inn in Chattanooga Tn, Triple A 3 diamond... Place was filthy, food left in freezer, sheets on pull out couch, moldy coffee grounds in pot, states a hot tub.. no hot tub, checked out early, came back to room after breakfast to gather the rest of our things, housecleaning was already in room bagging my purse, and jackets up, which she never should have touched, she said it was your policy to clean up right away, obviously she lied and it was also quite obvious the room was not empty, however, she took the tip already! this was 08:45, when I voiced my disagreement with the front desk, she wanted to know who I was mad at...I already complained to AAA, will not be staying at a Comfort Inn again and I feel I should be reimbursed as you did not do your job and you lied, the hot tub info is still in the AAA book

Comfort Inn,on Nazareth Road, are crooks, they charged me, more than they should of, and even though I called to speak with the manager, I was told that he was in a meeting all day long, and did not call me back even the next day, I am going to report them, to BB, Consumer Protection agency and the attorney general, I feel that they should be investigated thoroughly, and investigated as well, by the IRS. I was also the third night would be free, and then I was told that in order to receive the 3rd night free, that I would have to make reservations, I stayed those three nights consecutively! They are crooks and I will never stay there again, another thing as I was checking out, I told the employee I am checking out, her remark to me was good! To me that is being very unprofessional, never again, and they will have another 10 days to refund my monies!D

I wrote a long page to send in my complaint but, at the end of the page it said it would cost me $25.00 to submit a complaint. A close friend of mine told me to go this route as she works for a Days Inn. For a few years we have stayed at a Comfort Inn in Riverton WY. It kept going down hill each time, but this last stay was the last. When we pulled up, the manager & some employees were outside smoking they only come in to help customers when their puffing is finished. Went to our room, started unloading & putting things away ( we usually stay 2-3 nights ) the bathroom had dirty towels & wash cloths in the bathroom. Then there was human feces on the wall. I called and Julie came from the front office got the dirty stuff and cleaned the poop off the wall. I asked if she had another room and she said no, they were full. That place is never full, I knew better, we should have went else where, but stayed the night. Next morning as we were packing I opened a drawer and low & behold there were a ladies dirty bra & panties in there.
The employees are always complaining about something or another. It's been, He was drinking on the job so he got fired, we lost our electricity last night and the cops were even checking us out to find this weird guy (makes a person sleep well)Sara had surgery & that's all we heard from her, one front desk lady lost her dog ( it died ) and
she said we may be without a front desk person for the night. The new manager from Utah, is always complaining & never quits smoking long enough to listen to anyone. Barbara Hodson wants no part of hearing about her sloppy dressed, greasy haired, toothless front desk people. Comfort Inn has always been our favorite, but when you go to the front desk & have to wait until everyone is finished smoking to get waited on, that's pretty bad. Does anyone ever check on these lodging places????? To find human waste on the bathroom wall was TERRIBLE.... Thanks for reading and maybe someone can do something about this DIVE!!!! and the people running it !!!! The last night we stayed...it really looked like our sheets had never been changed !!!

I recently reserved a room for 1 senior and 2 children overnight. It was my 11 year old grandson's birthday. I had a small cake and some food with me. I was asked to leave after being there less than 1 hour because I had two extra kids with me. When I checked in I told the cashier that I would probably get another room when my son came. They had posted security guards with walkie talkies at the room and had a security guard near my car to see what I was bringing in. My niece came with 2 other kids as they were just coming to bring my grandson a birthday gift and eat some cake. The kids were mannerable and quiet and there was no need for the security making us feel as if we had done something illegal. I inquired as to what the problem was and was told that people come there for pool parties and other things. I advised that was them. I was profiled immediately. The staff had stalked me and the kids as soon as we came in. I could see if we were disturbing other guests but we were not as I kept the kids mannerable. I will be taking this matter further. This experience upset the kids, my niece and me. I have never been treated like this in my entire 64 years. To say the least that it is not even a 4 star hotel.

I am staying in fremont calif, your hotel here has some serious issues that should be dealt with. due to the construction in the area the hotel has taken a hit in business, but that is no reason to not provide to your guests that which we are used to seeing when we stay at a comfort inn. the hotel has peeling wallpaper, its has wear marks in the tub, the shower curtains are to short and water gets on the floors. the bedspread has holes in it, and this is a non-smoking room. the franchise owner has decided to cheap on the breakfast and only makes bisquits and gravy every day. the sausage is terrible. other guests have told me this is the breakfast menu every day. I have stayed at many other comfort inn's and the food was excellent, with choices of milk in cartons, chocolate and regular. fresh fruit every day, eggs and bacon. not at this hotel. I can assure you I will not stay at this hotel again. a lot of items need to be looked at, this hotel is starting to look run down like a motel 6. I hope you have a conversation with the franchise owner in regards to this, for at this time I will not endorse this location. this is the kato rd. location. 3 more days and out of here.

Comfort Inn Management

My husband and I decided to take a weekend vacation down into Virginia and West Virginia this past weekend. Started out nice-but there were 2 niches.

It is not my practice to be a complainer, but I have had enough. When we travel we usually look for Comfort Inn's-due to the fact that the rooms have always been clean and we enjoy the continental breakfast.

On November 1, 2013 we started our weekend end trip into West Virginia; we located a Comfort Inn and checked in. During the night I got up to go to the bathroom-I moved the trash can away from the tub. There was hair on the floor-looked as though the trash can had not been moved for a while-gross. That was the Comfort Inn in 801 Mall Rd, Oak Hill, WV 25901.

On November 2, 2013, we stayed at the Comfort at 62 Comfort Way, Lexington, VA 24450. Two problems: given a handicapped room; and trouble with hot water. When I tried to get hot water for a shower-could not and went to the front desk. She showed us that you pulled the level toward cold very slow and you could get hot water-so I took a quick shower with minimal pressure. My husband hopped in the shower at midnight only to find lukewarm water. In the morning when I wanted to take a quick shower and wash my hair-no hot water. Good grief. I will say that the Comfort Inn Manager gave us $25 off the bill.

A mini vacation turned out to be not so pleasant.

Sorry to say, we will probably be looking at other hotels in the future.

I stayed in Comfort Inn in Tinley Park IL and it was not a pleasent stay. No one ever cleaned our room and then when we first came into the room noone put toliet paper on the rack. then my boyfriend and I called the front desk to ask for towels and nonone gave us anything due to recptionist stating that she was the only one on duty and on her facebook page. This was poor service and never would i choose horrible inn again is what the name should be called.

My family stayed in the comfort inn suites in ocean city Maryland from Monday aug 26 to Friday aug 30. We had all of our family that stayed in atleast 5 or 6 rooms. Each room had bed bugs, even though my mother in law showed them to the manager she was rude and nasty about it. she moved my mother in law to another room and the next morning she found more bed bugs in that room. The family spent a lot of money just to be treated inhumanely like that was unbelievable

My husband and I stayed at the Comfort Inn at 916 State Street in downtown Milwaukee on August 16 and 17, 2013; our room was very large, comfortable, and clean. That's the good news. Now for the bad. On the 17th we discovered we had no hot water, but we were unable to call the front desk because our phone did not work. Earlier that morning we had had a breakfast that was very good, but the tables were all extremely dirty. They only had one person taking care of the room. We asked if we could leave our car in their parking lot after checkout time on the 18th since we were planning to spend the day in Milwaukee. They allowed us to do so. Then, we asked if we could have an hour or two for a late checkout. First, they said, "No, everyone must be out by 11:00." We were shocked by this, since the pamphlet in our room and the notice on the door said 12:00. They told us they were in the process of changing it to 11:00, but they would give us till 12:00. We came back to the hotel at 11:30, stopped at the desk and asked again for the later time. The answer was "No." When we got to our room on the fifth floor--using the stairs since the elevator was broken!--our keys would not work. My husband walked down to the front desk to ask why, and the same two people we had spoken to just minutes before exclaimed, "Well, of course your keys won't work. Checkout time is 11:00!" When we finally got to our car, we discovered that a small section of the garage roof had fallen on our trunk! Needless to say, we will not stay at this hotel again.

My wife and I had reserved one night stay at the Hollywood Comfort Inn and upon arriving by taxi from the LA airport at approximately 1:30 pm local time, we found the office locked. The sign on the door said "Back at 12:00". Because we had our luggage sitting at the front door, and had no place to go, I went to find an employee. I knocked on an "Employees Only" door. I found the manger there washing up. He yelled at me for knocking on the door and bothering him. He scolded me about not showing him more respect. He informed me that check-in was not until 3:00pm and did not care if I was stranded with luggage. It was not his problem. I asked him if I could at least store my bags at the Comfort Inn and I will return at 3:00 to check-in. He reluctantly went to the office with me and continued to berate me and went on to tell me that he has been fasting and working hard and everyone expects so much from him. He did settle down after I repeatedly apologized to him. I would have left, expect that I had prepaid for the room. After all the complaining he did find a room that had been cleaned and we did get a room. In all my life travelling I never encountered such a display of temper and contempt toward me. I gather this manager was cranky because of his fasting but he should never take it out on a customer. I will never stay at a Comfort Inn again. There are plenty of other choices that hopefully are friendly toward paying customers.

BEWARE!! BEWARE!! BEWARE!!

This complaint is for Comfort Inn (Union City, GA 30291.

Date: 6/29/2013. Besides an awful stinking room at 12:22AM check in time, these guys are thieves!

I paid with a MC prepaid card and they insisted on keeping my card which still had a balance on it till the next day. Off course I had to check out at 5:38AM the same day to catch my flight. After lengthy bickering over the phone via the clerk, they just would not understand that I need my money and my card. They refused to return it, keeping the card with the balance. What a shame!! Beware of these guys!!Customers in a rush to the airport are prone to be taken advantage of.

We stayed a the comfort Inn in Hutchinson, Ks. This was a small room with a King bed. No room to walk. The air conditioner didn't keep the room cool. Took a shower the drain did not drain was standing in water above my ankles or and the bathroom, you had to almost back in or stand beside the toilet to clase the door. And to top it off the phone rang at 2 am. The caller stated "Mam, this is the assistant manager, my manager called me in. Our computers crashed and we need to get your information again. We will give you a $40.00 credit back on your credit card if you will just give me your information. ?? Think I'm stupid. Called down to the front desk. No one called our room. So I asked did you transfer a call to this room. Then she asked our name. ?? again. Gave last name and she stated yes someone called and asked for us by name(I don't think so and we paid in cash) and room #. Then stated it was prob a scam, and didn't seem to surprised by that. We spend a very unrestful night. And you could hear every and I mean every noise in the place. Don't think we will stay in a comfort Inn again.

WOW!!! stayed at Comfort Inn Laguna Hills, CA. Checked in Sat @ 3pm> I was a little Leary at that point when (I believe it was Sarah) checked me in less than 30 seconds. She asked my name, had me sign a paper and put my keys on the counter saying have a nice stay. I had my credit card and id ready, she never asked for either. We than left and came back approx 9pm. Booked a room for four adults and no bedding/pillows were provided for the sofa bed. When requested I was provided a couple sheets. the sofa bed was hard as a rock, had to fold it up, take all the bedding off the queen bed and put it on the floor to create cushion so the the other two guests could sleep on the floor. Now no one had blankets, and we were short on pillows. Middle of the night the pregnant guest threw a sheet on the couch and slept on it> she woke covered in insect bites. On top of that the baby was pulling out dirty linens and tissue from behind the couch. We checked out Sun @ 8am and complained on the way out, Edwin who checked us out was very nice and helpful but the computers were down and we could not get a receipt and said he would pass a message of complaint to the manager about our unpleasant stay. Monday I get a call from the hotel (Im thinking its the manager)> I am informed I never checked out and they will be charging more money to my credit card (are you kidding me???) Have been trying to contact the manager for three days, he doesn't call back. We finally got him on the phone and he would refuse to verify his identy. He would just say my name is Kevin A. We are looking for the Manager Kevin Akash> now although he wouldn't admit fully his name, we are quite sure it was him. It is a joke, when you attempt to file a complaint hotels.com and expedia just transfer you back to the hotel you are trying to complain about....what a joke.

Hi I called your comfort inn in Vegas at Comfort Inn Airport

The manager and staff was vet rude and not proffetional at all. The first person o spoke to said she you call me back to set my reservation I had to call her back .

Then I asked about promotional reats with AAA she would not give the information was yelling at me and had a nasty personality, I told her thanks for her help can I talk to a manager she did not place me on hold and talked badley about me to another rep. The placed me on hold and the rep answerd the phone posing as the manager. I went along with it I asked the same question and still again no help and I was told that the price was a set price on weekends and it won't changed angling I was asking about the promotion with AAA the the surprose to be manager said

Why did you say the earlier. At this point I asked for your corp office number and she would not give it to me and stated if I call back I wil get the person and answer. I like the room but I will not tell any one to stay at your location with staff like that I found another place to stay just as good for $59.00 and the were happy to use my AAA card any question call me. At I will Facebook the services I hand if I don't get a call about this matter. Horrible service great rooms

Nine months prior to my daughter's graduation from college at Humboldt State in California, I was looking for accommodations. Unfamiliar with the area, I booked the Comfort Inn at Fortuna. An hour after booking and receiving confirmation letter, my daughter told me it was too far away, whereupon I immediately called cancelled the reservation verbally. I received assurance my reservation had "definitely" been cancelled, and then I received a secondary correspondence. It too said "confirmation"- (which I presumed meant it had confirmed the cancellation, as there had been no other reason for the secondary correspondence other than the prompting of my request for cancellation.) I thought nothing of it, until 9 months later, when I received a $150 charge on my Visa from Comfort Inn Fortuna. I immediately called, to have the hotel correct the inaccurate charge. The very kind manager took the matter to the owner, who refused to rectify their error. Between the time I had first booked/cancelled and their charging me, was no longer than an hour. Between Sept 2012 and May 2013, when I was charged, no attempt to confirm reservation was ever made. (The Best Western in Eureka where I wound up staying took the time to call and confirm, especially recognizing it was a very busy graduation weekend filled with parents, and the reservation was made 9 months prior. Comfort Inn at Fortuna apparently prefers to erroneously charge for previously cancelled reservations, creating ill will, and giving Comfort Inn's in general a bad name. I am appalled, at how this was handled on hotel's part. I cannot comment on facilities, only the horrific ownership management. The man who handled the phones, was quite conciliatory. I appreciated his professionalism, and attempt to resolve the situation. As it was owner's decision, it was out of his hands. I am not one prone to complaints, but this was a particularly egregious situation. This Comfort Inn in Fortuna, is a poor company representation, and frankly, Comfort Inn Corporate would greatly benefit from removing them from the national chain. I would be afraid to book again, lest I cancel, and still get charged. As far as I am concerned, the owner at Comfort Inn Fortuna is nothing short of a thief, unscrupulously stealing good people's money. My advise, don't make a reservation in the first place, because if you need to cancel, and it is not properly handled on their end in the beginning, you will be on the hook for it.

I the comfort inn in Shreveport Louisiana has taken 702.00 from one of their customers and will not refund .and they know they did it they and said they knew they did it now will not refund it.

they charged 702.00 to a account on the 29 of April and he was in Mississippi at this time and has his receipts they attempted to contact hotel employee Gary said he was off they called back and Gary said he was a sleep I called and Gary said he was not there . When I asked why he had lied and what was going on he hung up on me.

On Tues. May 8 talked to manager and still have not gotten his money this is man working out of being taken advantage having to pay out of his pocket what was wrongfully taken from him.

I seems to that there is a thief here some where, and something needs to be done to get this money back.

i know my husband and are retired and travel a lot and Comfort end will more than likely be marked off our travel agenda.

We were in Batesville, Arkansas for a Southern Gospel Singing Convention. We made reservations on Friday the 8th. For Saturday night the 9th. I gave them my credit card number when we made the reservations, told them that I did not want to leave it on this credit card, it was a company credit card but when I made the reservations it was the only one I had with me. I was assured that it would not be charged to that card until we checked out. When we arrived I told the clerk that we did not want to use the card that I gave at the time the reservation was made and that I wanted to pay cash for the room. She informed me that I could not do that. She said that it had to left on the card I reserved it with, and she would take my cash but that it would also be charged to my card that the charge would be refunded in 5 to 7 days. I told her NO that I did not want to charge it to a card that I wanted to pay cash and she informed me that if that was the case then I could not stay in that hotel. So I told her fine that we would go somewhere else and would never stay at another comfort inn or choice hotel as long as we lived. She said "fine" and we left and went across the street and got another room and paid with cash.!!! I want my choice member number cancelled as I will NEVER use it. How ridiculous is it that someone in this country will not accept AMERICAN GREEN CASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will never stay in this brand of hotels EVER. We are senior citizens, business owners, and do a lot of personal and business travel. We have been staying in Best Westens hotels approx. 25 to 30 times a year and have a best western points card. This hotel was only chosen because it was the hotel the convention recommended to us. The complaint was also filed with the convention coordinator. THANK YOU FOR NOTHING!!

Bed bugs or fleas. I had over twenty bites. We turned in the evidence the next morning and the desk person was totally uncaring. Asked to speak to manager and would call us. I had to send three email to complaint department and no call back from hotel. He was unavailable the night it happened and still unavailable next morning. We were told he would call to discuss situation and any adjustment to cost. One week, no call. I am disputing the charge for the two nights. No more Comfort Inns in our future. Very poor customer relations. It has been over three weeks, and still not one email from the manager or a call back. I will tell everyone I know, that this hotel chain is not the one to use. The women I talk to on the phone from customer service stated it was not their responsibility for the Marlboro Mass Comfort Inn's manager and my problems with the hotel and manager. I believe more customer service classes are needed for bug complaints and it should be taken seriously. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN THE MANNER THIS WAS TAKEN SO LIGHTLY.

On Saturday, February 16' 2013 my family and I booked an over night stay at the Comfort Inn at 5040 East Street,Indianapolis Indiana and the service was horrible. Check in was around 4pm and we checked in at 345pm. We were assigned to room 103 and when we entered it definitely wasn't ready for occupancy. The linen was stripped off the bed and it was dirty and thrown on the floor. The bathroom was dirty and the smell was unbearable.
I closed the door, went to the front desk, explained my dissatisfaction and turned in my key. The front desk clerk apologized for the inconvenience and told me to have a seat in the lobby and help myself to coffee or water. (Not much of an accommodation.) Within 10 minutes she called me back to the front desk and told me my new room was 128. I walked in the room and once again I wasn't pleased. The lightning was dark and dim, some of the channels on the tv were either to dark or too snowy, and the room was freezing cold. To top it off, I tried to make a phone call and couldn't get a dial tone. I checked the phone and realized there wasn't a cord attached to the phone. Once again I went to the front desk to complain and was told "I can give you a cord". I wasn't looking for a cord, I was looking for customer satisfaction because I have been inconvenienced enough. The best this hotel could offer me was $10.00 off my total bill. That's not satisfaction/accommodation that's adding insult to injury. When people pay for a service they expect to be satisfied and this experience was truly not the case. I nor my family members will not patronize the Comfort Inn anytime to soon. Please reply to my comment and let me know what you can offer.

I just filled out a survey about the Comfort Inn in Hendersonville, South Carolina. I had nothing good to say. It was terrible. I sounded like chronic complainer, which I am not. The next night we stayed at the Comfort Inn Apple Valley in Sevierville, Tennessee. It was wonderful. Everything about it was nice. The entire hotel is very well maintained. Our room was very nice. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was very good and it was hot. This is the only place we will stay when we go to Pigeon Forge. All Comfort Inns should be like this one.

My wife and I stayed in the Comfort Inn of Belle Vernon, Pa. 10/19 and 10/20. The mattress was so worn it was like a hammock! On the first morning we went to use the exercise room. Whoa we opened the door and couldn't go any further, the smell nearly knocked us out. Saturday we came back after visiting relatives and wanted to shower before going to my wife's reunion, housekeeping had never entered our room. I went to the desk and did get clean towels. Comfort Inn desk staff was nice but they couldn't do anything except apologize.

The comfort in in rockfor Illinois is the worst of the worst.Their desk supervisor lisa lawson is the most incompetent person I have ever dealt with. She surely should not be working with the public hell I wouldn't even want her taking care of my dog! Do yourself a favor stay anywhere else but at this hotel. I came to illinois for my sons wedding and she has managed to make a 16 hr trip even worse. My fiance own our own company for bigrig escorts and you can bet we will be spreading the word to all the truckers and pilotcars out there to never stay at this chain and my membership card is being burned in the fireplace

Family and I stayed at the Comfort Inn (Meridian Mississippi). We had travel about 700 miles to attend a funeral. I had reserved 2 rooms. Upon our arrival we found out that one of the rooms was not what I had reserved. I had reserved a room with 2 queen beds and was given a room with 1 queen bed. This confirmation was to be for the men in the family. Imagine how embarrassed I felt when the hotel did not have any other rooms with 2 beds to accommodiate them. I called the customer service number and was told they could not do anything about it. When I asked to speak with a manager the person on the line hung-up on me. Well the manager at the front desk there at the hotel, (Toya) was kind enough to call them back for me because I was so upset. Once again I was told to hold and no one ever came back on the phone. No satification! Finally Toya said she could put my family in one of the hotel suite, but it was going to cost us more money, this was not in their budget, so guess who had to make up the difference in the cost, since I was the person responsible for booking all the reservations. ME!! This was very un-expected because we all were traveling on a budget. I was not a happy camper!!!! For the second room I had reserved, the key did not work to get in. Everybody from the front desk clerk to the maid tried to open it using the the key, we finally succeeded. Then on our second night stay there we came back from the funeral and found out our door to the room did not lock. Back down to the front desk I go, this was about my three or fourth trip to the front desk to voice our concern. At first the desk clerk did not believe me. She thought I did not know how to lock it correctly. Finally she saw it for herself, and she could not believe it. She did not know what to do because it was so late and the maintance crew was not available. So that night my 82 old mother and I had to sleep in the room with a chair and all our luggage stack up to the door. alone with a hope and prayer that no one would in on us. Good thing there was no emergency which would had required us to leave the room quickly. That's not the end of the story, because before we build our pyramid, someone did try to open our door, Thank God! the top latch was still there. No more stay at the Comfort Inn. Is there anyway I can get back the extra money I had to spend for your error? Please don't put me on hold again!

Bed bugs!! On 9-27-2012, 3 of us stayed in the Comfort Inn Lakeside in Mackinac City, MI. We had taken our friend on a special 2 week trip. As our friend turned back the covers on her bed, bed bugs scattered. She killed some and captured a live. She was moved to a different room that night, but could not sleep for fear of more bugs. We turned in the evidence the next morning and the desk person was totally uncaring. Asked to speak to manager. He was unavailable the night it happened and still unavailable next morning. We were told he would call to discuss situation and any adjustment to cost. One week, no call. Charge is being disputed. No more Comfort Inns in our future. Very poor customer relations.

I would like to give Michelle, at the Comfort Inn in Hebron,IN, a big thank you for her above and beyond help in a situation. I left my garmet bag with all of my clothes there and didn't realize it until I was in Wisconsin. I would be visiting in WI for a week so having my clothes was important.
With her great effort she was able to pack my clothes and coordinate a pick up by UPS. My clothes were shipped overnight and I received them early the next morning. She was always courteous and so willing to help. Comfort Inn is lucky to have such an outstanding employee represent them. Thanks again Michelle.

Stayed at the Comfort Inn located on 2450 Old National Parkway. The hotel was dirty and there was jewelery stolen from my daughter's room. Reported it to the Management who seemed very "unconcerned" that this incident had happened. A police report was filed and to this day (4 days later) I still have not heard from management at the hotel. When the maid who cleaned the room was asked about it, she commented "this happens all the time to the rooms that I clean and I am not the only one who has access to the rooms". If this is the case, why is the same management still there and not reporting these thefts? Obviously something is wrong!! Some of the missing items all of a sudden "turned up" the next morning behind a coffee pot AFTER we checked out but other items are still missing. Figure that out. I will be contacting the Corporate Office. I have stayed at several Comfort Inn hotels but this is the worst hotel I have EVER stayed and will definitely NEVER stay again. You can count on me never recommending this hotel chain. Terrible customer service!

What a joke it is to call and complain about one of the Comfort Inns. I had reservations to say at the Comfort Inn in Blairsville, Pa., when we got there it was so dirty and smelled so bad, the bedspread had stains and felt as though it had not been washed in years. We turned around and walked right back to the front desk and told the front dest attendant that we could not possible stay in this place aside from the filth, it smelled of smoke and neither myself or my friend could breath under those conditions. After calling corporate I was made to feel I was on trial for complaining. What a joke, I would highly recommend NEVER staying or attempting to stay an another Comfort Inn - ever.

8/2/12 My husband and I along with friends checked into the Comfort Inn on Milan Rd in Sandusky Ohio. Everything was fine with our rooms. However, come Friday morning our room keys would not work. I made a trek to the front desk only to be told nothing was wrong with the key, they gave me another key to try. As I walked down the hall I could see my husband trying his key. Guess what his didn't work either. We both went back to the front desk. Finally a desk clerk came back up to our room with us. His key would not work either. He finally used a metal key to let us in. He assured us the battery was bad and it would be repaired when we returned from the island. By now our friends have been in the parking lot waiting for us for over 45 minutes. We arrived back at the hotel 8 hours later only to be still locked out. Another trip to the front desk, another desk clerk came up let us in. Now we are in, but can't leave because the lock is still not fixed. Another hour passes another trip to the front desk by now all of the tables at the pool are taken and our friends are in our room waiting for the repair person. 7:00pm a repair person arrives within 5 minutes the doorlock is fixed. They offered a round of free round of drinks at a bar that by now is full. As I checked out I told Amy we did not have a pleasant stay. She removed 25% off of the Friday stayonly. We will all think twice before we choose another Comfort Inn. Deanna Curts

A positive comment. Last month my son was driving a 20ft U-Haul with his automobile in tow and his 70 lb dog and 2 hamsters in the cab of the truck with him. He was relocating the family from St Louis to Delaware and was in need of a hotel that had a pet friendly policy. Every hotel along the route was booked. I got an employee from the Comfort Inn Morgantown (#404) on the phone and google mapped where my son was at that time and provided me with at least 7 different hotels and phone numbers. We finally found a vacancy in Lavale about an hour's drive from that point. This employee went above and beyond by staying on the phone with us and offering up options. His name is Jerry Hildenbrand and I want to be sure that he gets recognized for excellent customer service.

7/20/12 When we were literally 5 miles out from our hotel I270 exit25B (Lindbergh Blvd) around 11am CST, we happened to hear my cell phone buzzing in back of the SUV. Since I was driving, I had my friend answer it. It was the Comfort Inn's manager saying my credit card did not go through and they have cancelled my room reservation. (he said he had called earlier too with no answer ... I was driving ! ) Anyway he had already given the room away & only had a single bed room available which was not what we needed. He did not seem at all apologetic about his cancelling my reservation OR that he was calling the morning of the reservation! Why didn't they call back on any of the other 5 days prior to my check-in date if there was something wrong with my card? or wait until we checked in and we could have correct the credit card issue? What was the point of receiving a Reservation Confirmation email sent at time of making the phone reservation with the hotel? Suddenly no room reserved, we had to start searching/calling frantically on our smart phones to find a hotel with 2-bed rooms. We had called several hotels before someone had a 2-bed room available. We ended up with a less-than-desirable location and quality for our weekend stay for the same price of the Comfort Inn room. If this is Comfort Inn's standard practice, I will not be making any more reservations with them. BTW - that same credit card worked fine the entire weekend we were in St. Louis. I will be contacting headquarters to complain.

RE: Comfort Inn (FL 500) Orange Park, FL
GM [email protected]

We have stayed here as a group many times over the past few years with varying satisfaction. The past two times, 7/18, and 7/21, were not pleasant at all. Hair in my ice bucket on each occasion (different rooms), no laundry soap available at front desk despite signs in laundry area, causing a wild goose chase to area gas stations. Finally, business time; go to business center, do some work, organize receipts, look for printer... Front desk "Oh no, sorry, you can't print anything, someone stole the port off of our printer, so we took it out." Really?? Lovely, I just wasted 20 minutes of my evening on a laundry soap hunt, and another 30 minutes in the business center because apparently management is incompetent, or simply doesn't care. Please fix it, or I will simply make sure our management knows of the problems, and have them book our group next door to the Hilton Garden Inn... A Lot...

We just had a bad exxperience at North Vernon, Indiana Comfort Inn.
1. Rude management
2. Knocked on door when we had do not disturb sign on. Employee said the boss made them knock on doors after a certain time.
3. Not safe. Back door could be opened without a guest card. Anyone could walk in the motel.
4. Would not change our room even though we were with a block of rooms for a baseball tournament. My grandson was the only one who was not on the floor with the team. Management rude when I made a request .
5. Would not take my sons credit card number, even though he had called and saved the room under it. I had to use mine so he didn't get his Disney rewards. Management could have used my card for collateral. He was very rude about this.
6. charged us for a night we didn't stay. Only motel I have ever been at that did not allow you to cancel by a certain time.
The only thing good was the breakfast and it was great. I will not go to a Comfort Inn again and I feel a few others won't either in our group.
6.
