I am not sure what is going on with your stores. There has been the same merchandise for years. Also, the
Jewelry rack has been empty for weeks. What has happened to this store since the pandemic.

The store Manager at North Point Mall. Please tell that manger who is sick and have for a period of time to say home. It's very inconsiderate of him to spread germs. We as customers and employees don't want to get sick. The rumors that he has the flu or pneumonia .

Tallahassee, FL. Yesterday I wandered through the bedding/linen department at you store. There was not a sales person nor cashier in sight. I purchased nothing then. walked the relative vacant Governor's Sq. MALL, to "Going OUT of Business - Macy's. Same thing there. Hopefully you can afford to hire more floor sales people in hopes of being the last remaing "department store" in Tallahassee. We have seen the demise of Burdines, Sears, Mass Bothers and now Macy's. Will Dillards be the next to go. I'm afraid so. Your service has been in decline for a long time. When one has to go to the Service Desk to find someone to pay. Are you as a corporation sereious about staying in business?

I wanted to express my deep gratitude for one of your employees honest and commendable actions. I had been purchasing fine fragrance from this employee at the counter. When I went to pay, I put my bag down that was from Sephora where I had just purchased $350 worth of products there. I inadvertently left that Sephora bag on the counter. This employee was honest and took the bag to the service desk in case I would realize I had left it. I indeed did notice and was beside myself worrying what had happened to it. I retraced my steps and called Dillards the next morning after praying that no one had decided to pick it up or had a finders keepers attitude. Sure enough the customer service desk verified that they had it and that fine fragrance had turned it in. I can't tell you how much I appreciate and am grateful for this honest employee of yours. The stuff in that bag were Christmas gifts. I hope that you can recognize the integrity and character that this person showed in this act of turning in that bag. It would have been very easy for her to keep these products for herself. I don't know her name but she was very distinctive- very pretty, very tall, middle aged, distinct accent- so much I asked where she was from - Bosnia. She was working at the fine fragrance counter on Black Friday at the Crestview Hills location in Crestview Hill Ky. About 4:45pm. I hope you can reward her in some way. I was able to find her when I picked up the bag from customer service and thank her myself, but think her actions deserve recognition that I'd seen by her peers and management. Thank you.

I am writing a commendation for an employee of Dillard's Clearance Center in Gulfview Square Mall, Port Richey, Florida. Karen works in the women's shoe department there. She is personable, hard-working and efficient. On a recent visit, I mentioned my dissatisfaction with a pair of Dansko sneakers I had previously purchased there that had developed defects after only six months of wear. I did not expect satisfaction since I knew this store has a no refund, no return policy, but was simply sharing my views on the product. Karen suggested I write to Dansko's corporate office as she felt they would want to keep their customers happy. I did so and was amazed that they offered a pair of replacement shoes. Thanks to Dillard's and their excellent salesperson, I am once again a happy shopper!

Operations Manager, Mr Jason Harvey, is located at the Dillards in the Harbison Mall in Columbia SC. I am writing to tell you what an asset Mr. Harvey is to your operation. There was a major snafu done by Fed Ex & my local post office that resulted in the delivery of a dress I had placed an order for in your store to be returned. The dress was ordered in time for a special occasion. However once the dress was returned it was doubtful that the return order was first found and then resent out in time for the occasion. In stepped Mr. Harvey who diligently and thoughtfully contacted and tracked down the dress which had been returned to your fulfillment center in Arkansas instead of the lock box at the Harbison store. Mr Harvey tracked down this dress for well over a week, keeping me in the loop every step of the way. My dress is going to arrive in time thanks to his consistency . I think Mr Harvey is a gem, and I wanted you to know what a value employee he is. I already thought very highly of Dillards and he has definitely made me a believer that your organization makes your customers an important priority. His customer service was exemplary and I needed you to know that. My sincere thanks a lifetime customer and Dillards card holder Margaret McDaniel-Segars

Moving your sale mercahndise to the outlet in Houston is not a good idea... its located in a bad area of town....I spend thousands in your store... I shop the sale first then move onto the regular merchandise... I mentiond this to a few other women shoppers and they too noticd the change .. they said they aren't shopping Dillards anymore because of this new change...Your sales people know me by name .. they know i am loyal and spend alot with them... But since you have moved all sales out .. i probably won't be in as often as before .. I am an Elite member so i get the benefits from my spending.... however I won't be spending like i use to spend..... There are endless options for women with high income over 35... andn sadly Dillards my go to store won't be on my list..along with alot of other women......

I guess once again the more things change the more they stay the same. I was undecided at first if I was going to post this or not but It is still bothering me so I will. Shopping at Dillards today with my family bought a couple of Polo/Ralph Lauren articles of clothing for my son. We shopped quite a while and ended up buying two Polo tee-shirts and one pair of Polo jeans. Needless to say after we left my son decided to go back and purchase some Polo sneakers to go with these... articles and ended up wanting to exchange one of the tee-shirts to better match the sneakers. Well when we got to the register we could not find the receipt but I didn't worry because with todays technology. I'm able to pull up any transaction from my debt account instantly. When we got to the register to make the exchange the sales clerk stated " You couldn't have bought this there isn't any "pop ticket" or something like that. I stated " I know the items were purchased I purchased them myself from my account. This went back and forth and so on and so forth until I stated I wanted to see the manager. The manager arrived and stated that the shirt could not have possibly been purchased because this ticket was not on the tag. So I became very angry I had just got off work and I hadn't had any sleep at all. I asked for my money back for all the items I had purchased. He (dept. mgr) called the store manager and she stated the same thing and refused to refund me all my money just the two items they claimed were on the reciept. This meant I would have been out of over $50 dollars it may not be much but it's mine and I worked for it! Well when they pulled the jeans out of the bag they discovered that the sales clerk had put two tickets on the jeans and one on one of shirts. This means she rung up the jeans twice and one shirt instead of two shirts and one pair of jeans. They became immediately apologetic with there feet in their mouths. The saddest part of all one of the employee's that happen to be african-american pulled me aside once this fiasco got started and stated " She (sales clerk) is biased she thinks every black person that comes in here steals. I saw you when you purchased your items. I'd return it all back!" So I thought back she and another lady began watching me and my family time we entered the dept and every turn we made they were there on top of us. Well to finish up I yes I was actually over charged and recieved a gift card for the excess. But the whole thing was so tramatizing I'm still upset and thinking about writing there corporate office....

On Saturday December 7th I decided to visit the Dillard's store located in the Collin Creek Mall. Little did I know I would be experiencing the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have ever encountered in my life.
After I gathered my clothing I came to the front of the store to get a price-check. The store was closing within 15 minutes so I GUESS it was understandable that all three sales associates did not even look up to acknowledge me. I walked up to one of the ladies and asked if she was able to check the prices of the clothing I had chose. She told me that she did not have the ability to check the price and that if I wanted to check the price that I should take my phone out and use my calculator. At this point I was incredibly irritated because of the way she rudely and impolitely made this statement! She could have communicated this to me in a more pleasant manner, you know, the way that most customer service personals should act. She then took her calculator out and proceeded to tell me that if I wanted her to check the prices that I better read the prices to her, she refused to simply take my clothing and do the price check herself. The way she communicated to me was embarrassing for not only me but I am sure for the company as well. She furiously raised her voice and threw a fit in front of several customers just because of a simple task! I have to admit, I did proceed to tell her that she needed to act in a more professional manner in front of customers. I was appalled that I was actually being spoken to in this manner in a public setting, especially someone who was a store associate. I thought I had seen the worse so I asked this lady who her manager was and she replied by pointing her finger to her right and told me, "IF YOU WANT TO FIND MY MANAGER THEN YOU CAN FIND HER YOURSELF!"
After this experience I am not sure if I will ever see Dillards the same again. What a shame that such a prestige company would have sales associates that represent the company in such a manner. I regret any purchases I have made from this company after this experience.

Thanks so much for keeping your stores closed for Thanksgiving. It is a day to be with our family as well as giving thanks to God for our many blessings. The holiday was started for that purpose in the first place. Just as without Christ, there would be no CHRISTmas. God Bless.

The customer service is so bad at the Dillards in Mcallen Texas. I recently received a gift that someone purchased for me with their debit card. I tried to return and was told that they could only put it on a dillards gift card or back to their credit card which was a debit card. If you return anything at any other store and it is paid with a debit card they always give you cash back. The manager on site at the was Raul Chavez he did seem very knowledgeable about the return policy..... I will never shop at this store again.

Personally i have been a die hard Dillard's shopper for the past 20 years. I reviewed my debit card only purchases for the past 6 month's, not including the month of Dec 2012, & I'm embarrassed to admit that the total exceeded $9,000.00. In my defense i purchase my dress shoes (Cole Hahn & Rockport only), socks & underwear(Ralph Lauren only), dress & casual shirts(Ralph Lauren & Cremeiux only), sweaters, ties, jeans, dress slacks, sport coats, khaki pants, watches, cologne, pajamas(pants & shirts/Ralph Lauren only), undershirts. . . I'd get my hair cut at Dillard's if i could my wife says. At this moment I am wearing: RL long sleeved dress shirt, a white v-neck RL pajama shirt for my undershirt, a Kenneth Cole watch, a Roundtree & York necktie, a RL leather belt, Blue Murano dress slacks, black RL socks, black leather Cole Hahn lace up dress shoes, Polo Black cologne, & Ray Ban polarized Waferer shades. Needless to say, I've got it pretty bad.
My point, I'll having to find an alternate place to shop & am very upset about it. My wife a week ago this past Friday was returning a few items at the Bossier City, LA location in Pierre Bossier Mall. She, of course, found a few items she wanted to purchase prior to approaching a register. When she realized her new purchases exceeded her returns by less than $30 & she only had a few dollars in cash she decided to utilize a store ATM which is located at the entrance/exit attached to the mall itself. You see, she had planned to make a withdrawal that would enable her to have extra cash on hand & cover her Dillard's transaction also. When she arrived to the ATM she set down her merchandise next to the ATM & began the search through her huge purse(purchased from Dillard's) for her wallet(purchased from Dillard's). She found that our daughter, shopping elsewhere in the mall, had her debit card. She then called our daughter on her cell phone to have her bring the card. At this point she was approached by store security. The officer came off as a bit embarrassed about having been asked to speak to my wife about her lying her merchandise on the ground next to the store ATM. Apparently the spot she set everything down on the invisible border which technically separates what is considered Dillard's property & the rest of the world. Unfortunately for my wife, in the eyes of the very pregnant & very irritable young blonde manager on duty, crossing that border in any manner whatsoever meant my wife: the mother of our children, a life long member of a local Church, a well respected nurse of 18 years, & my angel who has never been in any kind of legal trouble & has never been accused of anything remotely similar was arrested & taken to jail. The Security Guard, also a city officer, was also in disbelief advised the Manager on duty otherwise but she was determined & couldn't be persuaded.
Of course, most in the area know my angel well enough to know something isn't right about all of this when hearing the news. My wife experienced: being hand cuffed, booked in jail, placed in criminal attire(NOT from Dillard's), an over night stay behind bars.....that wasn't a typo....bet you didn't know that all females who've been arrested can only be bailed from custody at another facility(no worries...it was ONLY a maximum penitentiary). So she had to be extradited there before I could rescue her & that didn't happen until the following day. The reason, its about an hours drive one way. Officials wont make that trip unless they have at least 5 females to extradite. From what I've been told luck was on her side. It sometimes takes a week before they get 5 females waiting for extradition. My angel was number 4 & the 5th was apparently arrested only 8 or 9 hours after her, anyway, her good name has been slandered, applying for her state nursing license next year could be a issue, so far we've paid $400 for bail fees & will also pay around $4,000 for legal representation. As one can imagine, she has experienced much more than just what i have mentioned. We all have. Oh, did I mention we have a daughter? She was a witness to all of this. She is 13! We also have 2 others who are younger in age. They come home with questions. They are embarrassed & don't want to go back to school.
it just goes on & on you know. THANK YOU DILLARD'S. We have all intentions to expose what we have been put through. This is simply wrong in every way. You should be ashamed

Dillards El Paso Cielo Vista mall employees in the womens purse department hid merchandise to favored customers during the Jan. 1 sale unfairly hiding merchandise from other customers. Store did not control customers hoarding purses and sales people participated in this deceitful practice. The women's accessories department allowed the sale to be unfair and hid inventory for favored friends. Dillards at cielo vista also opened earlier than published to give unfavorable advantage to friends of sales personnel in the accessory department. Please contact me immediately

In this world of fast paced greed and short-cuts, I wanted to let you know that your organization has a master craftsman that is not swayed by short-cuts. This person is Mark Nelson who works the Men's Dept at the Dillards, Cary Town Center, in Cary, NC. His skills and abilities are a great asset to your company.
I came into town, last August, for a wedding and my son was without a suit 3 days before the event. We went to several of your competitors and they could not satisfy us before the deadline. My wife suggested we stop in at Dillards. I came in with that desperate look and said, we're in trouble, can you help? Mark never missed a beat and had an athletic fit suit set fleshed out within 90 minutes. It was truly a pleasure to witness a master at his work to where you just sit back and watch the magic. You can tell that Mark is very knowledgeable and enjoys his work.
We came back on the day of the wedding to pick up the suit and review the final fitting. Mark was not satisfied with something and walked my son over to the seamstresses place and had the alteration completed. Now that is customer service! The wedding was a success and my son loves his suit.
Please make sure Mark doesn't leave your company. He is a model of dedication toward excellence and stellar customer service. Thanks to him and Dillards for his valuable talent and service.

How does someone get OFF a mailing list? I made a mistake of buying some makeup from Dillards and now we get "perfumed" mailings. We have allergies to perfumes but they are so obnoxiously strong that you can smell them through the plastic.

I have been one of Dillard's faithful shoppers for many years but no more. Dillard's discriminates against plus size women. Today is Black Friday and I went to purchase plus size items for a grandmother. There were Black Friday sales in mens, jewelry, and other departments but when I ask about sales in Women's Dept. was told there were no sales in plus size department. Sales person admitted they had no sales other than regular clearance of old items. Even salesperson expressed frustration as she had lost so many sales because people could go right down the street and find big deals at other department stores for same items. When she asked buyer in that department early when there was no sales she was told "this comes from LittleRock and that's just the way it is." Oh come on. What does Little Rock know about buying for women in Texas? There were other people in that department and they were all complaining. All of us left without purchasing any items. I asked to speak to manager and was told all "big managers" had already left. (It was in early afternoon). I will wait for your reply to this statement for an explanation about why plus size women are not treated equally as other departments.Dillard's has lost at least 4 good customers. We will shop at Macy's and Neiman's from now on. Thank you.
