I placed an order online on July 22, 2023. After a few mins. I got an email, they cancelled my order due to the fact that they can't verify my address. I always use the same credit card and the address on file is the same. I even checked my bank and the have the correct address. Since it's a Saturday Customer Service is closed. I called Monday spoke to two customer service they said I shouldn't be billed because order has been cancelled. Well, I got charged for an order they cancelled and they said I need to wait for 10 days for a refund. I said can you send me an email so I have a proof that I will get a refund? They said it's the same email we sent you when your order has been cancelled. I got charged for a cancelled order I just want a proof I will get a refund and they didn't want to send me an email, they just want me to wait for my refund which is really annoying. Why would you bill a customer for an order you cancelled? I also emailed customer service 2x and NO REPLY at all. Do you even read emails Famous footwear? Horrible customer service.

People work long shift kids in school all day we all have busy life's right
When we get done with all the important things we do day to day have time to get some necessities we need shoes for our busy life's right
Then finally get to the store and look for roughy 15 minutes try a pair or two on then get told you have to leave that your store closes at 7pm like wow! I couldn't believe it! I walked out with nothing looking to buy at least two pairs. I work for the United States Postal Service and we work so much that I had a little extra time so I could get some shoes!
Seems so impossible anymore for anything all the stores close early now. Probably will not make it to your store again.

I'm a frequent customer in the North Platte store and because of your rude, and sarcastic employee named Collin 2 of your best workers left or should i say forced out! I find that the Gm or whoever made that call should be investigated for being such a poor manager! I've been in there many times where your employee Collin had his friends in the back and being. Rude to customers like myself and talking about other employees including his store manager Jill, i myself will go higher up over this unprofessional employee it's unfair that he gets his way by crying wolf to higher ups who would rather listen to him ainstead of keeping the employees that actually do their work and bring in sales! The 2 employees are very sweet and very helpful whenever I'm in there with my children and my wife and now after learning of this crap your company will no longer get my business as well as a lot of other people who've i told about your store! I really hope you reconsider keeping these employees and let this cocky snobby guy Collin go instead of him becoming your boss and acting like a baby

Purchased a shoe online, and the sole started to separate after only wearing it twice. I contacted customer service and was informed that if the store can not deem the shot defective, there's nothing else they can do. So, basically, I am forced to keep a pair of boots that can not be worn and cost me over 60 bucks. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

I made an online purchase for a pair of boots that I never received. I have contacted famous footwear customer service several times and currently this matter is not being resolved. I was told that because I had a missing item in the past that I could not make a claim against the product that I currently ordered. As a customer and a value customer I have never experienced the horrible customer service that I have experienced with your company. I have done all the research on my own with fedex the delivery of this product and cannot get anyone to help me with refunding me for the purchase I never received. This is not my fault that the item was lost stolen. I would greatly appreciate someone assisting me and getting me a full refund for the boots that I never received.

I walked into my local famous footwear in lacey, wa and because a disgruntled employee at the Kohl's store across the street and I don't get along he called the famous footwear and said all this defamation of my character and said that I was a shoplifter even though I have never stolen anything from anywhere and the employees along with the store manager kicked me out of the store on his false accusations. Not to mention the embarrassment I felt while they all looked down at me when all I was trying to do was buy Christmas presents for my niece and nephew.

I'm very disappointed in your store my mother lives in Arizona and I live in Iowa and she's so desperately wanted to spend $300 at your store today and buy me some shoes but she simply could not I got a district manager out here in Iowa and he said there was absolutely no way he could accept her money 0 the end so I would feel sore and took a picture of some shoes that I that she could buy me and sit for the the numbers and then I went online and picked out another pair of shoes because I simply did not want to drive back to the store again my mother went to the store in Arizona and try it again now the shoes were only equal to 150 hours and the second pair that said online for $50 the guy told her was only available in Iowa and I had to go to the store so now she wants me to call the shores see if they will hold them till morning because they're closing an hour anyway it doesn't matter and of course says no my mother now has to drive to Walmart and send me $50 through the Walmart system now I have to drive to Walmart which I am ready doing and pick up the $50 and tomorrow I have to again drive out to the mall to your store to try to buy some shoes for $50 better on correct supposedly that will probably be there maybe they will maybe they will stop the point do you get the point probably not you just lost at least a hundred fifty dollars baby $200 if I can't buy anything at your store but I can buy for 50 hours then you've lost a little $200 do you care I wonder I doubt I'm just telling you there's got any better way why do you not what to receive already I told her why didn't you tell the store clerk at your store just to pick up any shoes in the whole garden world I'm sorry I didn't mean to say bad word but why don't you just pick up any issues any shoes at all I didn't even care what they were I just mail them to me and I would go to the store here in Iowa and I'm going to change them and she said no she asked the card and he told her no that was not possible either are you serious are you serious that man could not pick up any shoes at all man woman or child any size of any color from his store or from online and take her money and ship them to me yeah I'm talking to this! The layout of the store requires employees to use ladders to access shoe sizes. This of course takes up more time and limits space in The store to shop. A layout that helped access boxes or a accommodating tool would be wonderful to utilize space.

I ordered in the store in Arnold, a bookbag for my daughter. Was told it would be 3-4 days. We are on day 9 and STILL have no bookbag. She needed this bag 3 days ago. It sat in Wisconsin for 4 days. Now in St Peters and hasn't moved. Was told it would be delivered now by Sept. 2nd. I have requested 3 refunds and was told to enjoy my new shoes. WHAT! I DIDN'T EVEN ORDER NEW SHOES.

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes on May 31st, 2021. After placing my ordered I saw that instead of having Florida as state and zip code Bronx was there nothing was there to cancel or modified the order. I decided to call customer service and indeed it was a holiday so the office was close. I sent emails as well. Now I checked my email the items is now shipped to a different address in a different state. Now what am I suppose to do? This company needs to spend sometime to make customers online shopping experience more desirable. I'm livid cause there is nobody to help me.

We chose your store in Palm Coast Fla where we live because of the large selection of wide and extra wide shoes. He broke his hip in March and this would be the first pair of walking shoes he wanted to purchase. While the employees were very nice and accommodating we found it difficult to try on the shoes due to the fact that there was only one shoe horn which was no longer than 3-4 inches. it seemed to be the only one they had in the store. He, like others who have had a hip replacement was unable to bend over far enough to use the shoe horn. We were given one at the rehab but didn't realize we should have taken it. It is a long one that doesn't require bending to use. We did find a pair that fit, he likes and is wearing but for future sales you might consider getting a shoe horn that is specifically for the elderly and disabled. It might boost your sales. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I went into the store today with my daughter to get me some Skechers arch support tennis shoes and my daughter decided to get some shoes for herself when we got to the counter after being in there for quite some time they told us that their system was down and that we needed to come back around 6:00 but they could save the ones we picked out My intentions were not to be back out so we told them never mind we went to the store next door to see what they had as we walked back by we saw them them checking out two customers apparently the registers were working after all not sure why they didn't want to help us out. We would have spent $150 in the store. So I got online to see what time the store closed and low and behold they closed at 6:00 so why would she tell us to come back at 6:00 really disappointed in the customer service at this store it's not the first time the manager there has been rude. I probably will shop at another famous footwear not at the garden City store again.

The whole reason I went to Famous Footwear today February 26, 2021 is because I seen they had a sale when I looked at the website online that if you spend $50.00 you get $10.00 off by March 1,2021. I spent $96.05 and gave the Cashier my email address which was correct. She told me to just go online and just show her the $10.00 off anywhere on the website and she would take it off because I told her I forgot my password. So I did what she asked and showed her the website like she said I could do. Then she says oh you need to login which I wasn't able to she told me to just come back and the $10.00 will be there in my account which is a lie! Because it was just a sale the company was running until March 1,2021. The cashier not only lied but also didn't honor the $10.00 off even though she was able to pull up my rewards account in front of her and told me just show her the website!!! (Which means she could've just typed in a code; which I know is possible because I have worked customer service for many years). I also put another pair of shoes back because she told me they were $44.99 when on the isle on the shelf the price tag said $29.99. She didn't want to price check so I didn't purchase them. I don't mine spending money but it's the principle of I deserved to have $10.00 /taken off my balance and she should've went back and price checked the shoes. Professionalism should always be a companies top priority to make sure the customer is satisfied with there purchase and to address any concerns they may have. store #2763 Associate 303371.

Today my husband and I visited one of your Famous Footwear Outlet store located at 681 Leavesly Rd #200 in Gilroy, CA. It is shameful to see that stores like Famous Foot Wear in Gilroy allow clients to come in their stores without a face mask during a Pandemic. My husband and I were patiently waiting for our turn to come in. We saw a lady go into the store with no mask. We both pointed it out to the staff member who was suppose to be monitoring the number of people in the store, social distancing and if people wore wearing a mask at the door. The girl at the door had no choice but to call the client back and had her wait outside with an apparent online pick up order paper in her hand. Another one of their employees apparently knew this girl in the and proceeded to come out to deliver the "online order" and hugged the unmasked female and went back in the store without changing or disinfecting herself. I asked to speak to the Manager and to my suprise it was the same staff member who had let the unmasked lady in the store in the first place. My husband who works in a hospital and is obviously aware of the increasing number of COVID19 patients went up to the Manager and told her that COVID19 was real and this could not be happening. The store manager told him to leave and that she would call the police on us and she along with another employee proceeded to close the door on us. I told her that I would see to it that her store get shut down she proceeded to insult me verbally and to flip me off. This is the reason why the number of covid patients are on a rise for people like these! I will be calling the Health Department tomorrow as they are closed today since it's Sunday. I have pictures of all that I am saying and will be glad to share them with corporate to make sure this "manager" gets fired for breaking Safety Health protocols

Bad shopping experience 12/11/20 Store #3532 asked a clerk to help me with a product price i explained to her that we are looking at a shoes with same color but different pricing can you help me.without even investigating what I meant she replied well maybe its an old stock I said what do you mean and the clerk went about what she's doing ignoring my need.got another clerk but I turn and change my mind about the help like I just got slap on the face.went to see asst manager I explained to her of the matters and apologized to me of what had transpired and I express to her that I come to shop and give your store business I spent quite some of money in your store and why is that clerk felt that my request was such a heavy burden for to even taken a look of what I meant.im feeling disgusted of how I was being treated that I said to the manager that this will be the last time I will sit foot in your store unless there is a change of attitude I don't need to tell them how but it is essential part of your business to stay on business i will seek out online to satisfy my need and service.further more I feel that some of the employees in this store are not happy it is just my feel when I come in

I made an online order on 8-9-2020 for 3 pairs of shoes the total was well over 100 dollars, 2 pairs were delivered and after a month I called and was informed the 3rd pair was stuck in distribution but they could not just resend them out I would be given a refund and would have to go online and purchase them again.I thought thats pretty weird just send the shoes but no. Then I was told since I used a 25 dollar gift card fir the order which the other 2 pairs of shoes were over 25 I would only get some of my money back and the 25 dollar gift card reloaded, after all this I just wanted all my money back and go somewhere else,but I am forced to use the 25 dollars there or lose it Famous footwear are scaming people, I will be contacting someone over this as this has to be robbery. Took my money but cant get it all back I will never shop here again and go on all social media to tell everyone how shady this company is and that there customer service sucks

I was in your store on Walker Lake Road Ontario Ohio today. The store needed a good cleaning . Paper everywhere on the floor, boxes, carts of shoes. A girl was behind the counter. With the Covid 19 I would think the store would of been cleaner. Will I go back No!

Hello I visited one of your stores in NYC 34th Street and Broadway. On March 2nd 2020. I and my family was on the Elevator in the store. And the Elevator had gotten stuck. We was on their for about and Hour. We called the store and was told the had to call Maintenance to help. So we waited a d call back again the same thing. Then we had to wait for the Fire Department to come. They wasnt communication with us to let us know anything. So when the Elevator door open in back up. Which we get off and one of the employees was sitting there with his feet up like nothing had happened. And the Manager comes out of the office. We took the steps which lead us to the store. Once we arrive the Employees was just standing around again like nothing happened. Noone didnt even come to us to Apologize about the situation. And the fire Department never made it into the Store they was outside when we came out of the store. Something need to be done about this. My family and I is very disturbed with the Company and the Mangers and Employees of the Store. And we was told the store was brand new only been open for about 1 month. So why is the Elevator acting up already. I dont like the fact that they was standing around as if we wasnt just stuck on there Elevator.

I lost my Pandora Bracelet 12/15/2016 approximately noon that my Husband had just brought me for my Birthday. I called store #3322 (which was the wrong location)& asked Taneesha to please look up & down isle. Again wrong store so she found nothing... I left my phone # I stated, "that there was a 50.00$ reward out if found." I then ordered another Pandora Bracelet in disappointment that I had lost the original. Friday 12/16/2016 approximately 3p.m. I had a voicemail from Sharon @ store # 3322 saying that I had called the wrong store & her son Kyle who works @ store # 2350 had my bracelet. Apparently, I had dropped it @ the front door & a customer who did not purchase any items had picked it up & brought in it the store & gave it to Kate @ store #2350. I had no way of thanking this honest customer( he had made no purchase so we had no contact information). I do however have the names of the honest employees that went above & beyond. This letter is too thank them very much & they refused too take the reward money. If you are reading this Corporate office please recognize these individuals for their loyalty, honesty & kindness to a Customer who has almost 800 points with Famous Footwear.

I purchased a pair of sketchers slip on sneakers on line, when I received them I had forgotten that they run small so I had to bring them back to the store closest to me, East Windsor NJ. It was an even exchange, however I was made to pay full purchase price for the same item that I had just paid $30.00 for. Why? Even exchange is even exchange. I should have told them to keep them and get my money back. Will never shop Famous Footwear again.

I bought my daughter sneakers on 8/28/14 from store #2670 in Aberdeen, NJ. The Vans sneaker have started to rip in the tongue portions of the sneaker. I tried to return them stating "I think they are defective". My daughter has had many pairs of Vans before and never had a problem after 5 months of wearing them. Your manager Sandra rudely said "I am not in the business of buying back used shoes and take it up with Vans". I said "I guess you don't stand behind the product you sell". This caused the customer in back of me to hand the shoes to the manager she was buying and say "I don't want to buy these". I have contacted Vans to help resolve my problem. Professional managers resolve problems not treat customers rudely. Famous Footwear should take a closer look at managers who are representing the Famous Footwear name.

I shopped in store and had the best sales associate #653896. She was so helpful and polite. She had a smile on her face and was beyond willing to help me in any way. I have never shopped in a Famous Footwear before and because of this sales associate I will now ONLY shop with you. I find that people are willing to take time out to complain about something, it was only right that I take the time out to applaud her kindness and willingness to do her job. I wish I had her name to speak of her personally. Please let her know what a fantastic job she is doing.

The Stow Ohio Location of Famous Footwear is terrible! Repeatedly, the employees have poor customer relations. They are not helpful at all; even after you take the time to chase them down. They are rude an act as if your suppose to be grateful they are there; maybe I would be if they did their job. The store never has the sizes my family needs and they expect you should be more than happy ordering them on-line. The return policies are a joke and inconvenience. HATE THIS PLACE!

Hi...just had a major problem returning a pair of shoes I purchased 10 days ago at Valencia, CA store #1244....manager was rude and said he did not have to refund the shoes though it was defective...seems his rudeness reflected the culture Famous Footwear has and that is to make a profit at any cost even if it means ripping off people!!! He said he would take the defective shoe back "this time" and made me feel like the $50 investment was my loss...what a poor customer service experience especially coming from a manager...the company is only interested in rewarding uncustomary oriented policies...well, we learned our lession and will never do business with your company again...prefer to deal with companies that value their customers and not fleece them for some CEO/executive benefit that mandates poor service straight down to the consumer!!! So sorry but this manager...I.G. is worthless and antagonistic!!!!

Hi. I'm not happy with your return policy, i purchased two pairs of nike High top tennis shoes from the Park Meadow Store in Colorado. size 14 for my grand son. he wore one pair to work one day , told me the shoe was defective the seam rubed a blister on his footone for his birthday in November and the other for Christmas, when he tried the second pair it did the same thing same place were the seams come togeather defective. the second pair was never worn out side of the house.I stopped by the store in Lone Tree Colorado for some type of adjustment I was told that your policy was 30 day's I did not want a refund or my money back just wanted to try some thing else . I payed cash no recept . the up front person said to bad that was your policy no recept and 30 days. Wow We paid well over

$ 100.00 for these and he cant wre them . sSeems like ther should be some kind of recource or policy adjustment to the rules of returning or trading for something else.

I visited a local store in Turnersville NJ. I ran into the store to spend a quick 150 as I was on a time limit a budget and some people to make happy this holiday. as I entered the store I was greeted and I acknowledged the greeting put my phone down apologized to the clerk for being preoccupied and said I would not need any help but is let her know once off the phone. I resumed my phone call only to be asked a second time if I needed Assistance making a purchase. Her tone was quick and arrogant. I got the impression that she was bothered by the fact I was on the phone. she came back get another time saying loudly can I help you with your shopping. I ft harassed throughout the store when all I wanted to do wS wrap up this important call get the things I came to purchase and exit, I had to add being harassed. One I was off the phone I was so bothered by the manager (which is yet another sad factor) I didn't want to stay any longer because I felt so uncomfortable. Please contact me in regards to a solution please.

On Tuesday morning our home suffered a terrible fire. My children were taken out of our home at 4;45am without anything on their feet. At 11am I ran with them in borrowed socks to our local famous footwear (Sunrise Highway) Massapequa, New Yrok. After explaining to clerk what happened, she made NO ATTEMPT to help me either with looking and or helping me get sneakers and socks for 3 children. When I mentioned that I did not have my coupons she BARELY managed to help look that up by our phone number. Having 3 children, myself and my husband you can well imagine the amount of purchases we make at your store. I could have understood if the store were busy, but I was the only one there...Each one of my children needs to replace more sneakers, boots, dress shoes and slippers, but with this type of customer service I am not so sure I will be returning to your store. I wonder how do you train your staff, where is there CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS and do they NOT understand human compassion.

I purchase 85 in shies and I ask clerk to pull my account for a discount but I was told there were no coupons but if I had a smart phone I could pull up . Sorry I don't have one went home pulled my 30% coupon went back to store in a three hour period ask them to refund the I would repurchase with my printed 30% coupon . I was told my manager I could not do that so . I pulled off the shoes I was wearing my manager And gave them plus the other pair back . They gave me a full refund . I think it is sad your stores would rather have the shoes back then to give me 30% refund . You lost a customer plus your manager doesn't even know where the corp office dips located . That is bad customer relations . I could ow go to other store and buy the same shies with the discount but what bother I will go but at another store sine famous shies would rather have used shies back instead of honoring a coupon . You are the only store I know of that has this stupid policy and poor customer relations and chose to lose an $85 sale not including the fact that I purchase shoes constantly . This was your store in ft worth hwy 377. Stay out of.
