I made a purchase and requested 60 dollars cash back at the gateway Fred Meyer in Portland at 6:10 pm on Monday January 29th.
The register never gave me the cash back.

I told the service desk, and they treated me like I was lying. They refused to check the camera and told me they would write a short change report and get back to me In The morning. I called them when I never heard back and they said they take their time doing change reports. "I don't know what to tell ya."
They said.

I feel robbed by this company.

The digital coupon system has made us start shopping at Walmart. Every single time we try to follow this time consuming b.s. we have trouble. We then tell the cashier and they are always good about adjusting the price..but why? People are either forced to pay a higher price for something...or waste a half hour in the store trying to make it work. After 30 years of shopping at Fred Meyer,Fry's,city market were done. Walmart is cheaper anyway.and that's without the frustration of these stupid digital coupons.

I have heard that Kroeger is considering a Fred Meyer store in the city of Moses Lake, WA. I would so like to see a store here. I shopped at the store in Lynnwoood, WA for several years until I moved w/my daughter to the city of Moses Lake.
I loved the Fred Meyer store. Their household articles are of high quality and last for a long time. I now shop at Wal-Mart because that is the store that is here. There is also a Winco which I do not shop at, but my daughter does. We would both shop at the Fred Meyer store!! Please consider opening a store in our area!

I have been a customer since 2008 regular no longer went grocery shopping today 9-10-23 store at Thor and 4th avenue Spokane Washington seen a guy go in dressed in a freedom shirt tats with a gun open carry around his waste I now feel very unsafe shopping at this store reported it to manager and she seemed to defend this guy and not entertain my concerns which i guess is represenative of your company over this so very sorry I luv your store i luv your products your prices but i will not put my own life at risk to shop in your store i wanted to bring it to your attention you dont know this person I don't know this person your employees dont know this person luv fred meyer lots of fond memories with my mother here but I would like to keep these memories thank you for your time

From Western Washington here. We used to do a lot of shopping at Fred Meyer like clothes, shoes, housewares even bought our food and family bikes from there. The clothing quality is non existent. Most of the fabrics are non biodegradable clothing that will last forever in a dump not very green, with a cheap dye that quite a few people are allergic to. So the Brand dip sucks FYI. There used to be Columbia pants and shirts and sweaters gone at my store not to mention most of the other brands that have natural fibers. I used to buy my brand name tennis shoes almost always at Fred Meyer not anymore. Also would buy my Bear Paws every year there, not at my store anymore. I used to buy food there but I the prices have gone up. I can afford more at other big brand stores. The house wares fall apart and because my bike was mishandled in the warehouse or shipping the canister on the front when was leaking out of the box. The boxes are not supposed to be put on their side and it clearly was. I know this and don't work there. It's also not just me. My parents were regular shoppers at Fred Meyer, mom goes to Walmart now she says if I'm going to buy substandard clothing and shoes it shouldn't cost as much as it does at Fred Meyer. This has been a build up over the last 5 years I stopped buying clothes, then shoes, now food I only have my prescriptions there now and I've been considering moving them too. You may not care but I know I'm not the only one. Lastly let's talk about pricing I wouldn't mind paying more for quality products and good service but as it stands currently Fred Meyer isn't carrying quality natural products in clothing. They are not carrying clothing that is good for the environment, it's plastic with poison dyes. I don't know who is doing the purchasing , but they are slowly chasing your regular customers out of the store. I no longer do any big shopping there. Change these things and you may win some of your customers back. Fred Meyer is closest to my home. I can walk there but I don't because of the above listed reasons.

We have shopped for years @ Fred Meyer's. We have had nothing but problems using our App for digital savings. We have only had it work successfully one time for us. Today we decided to try it again. We went right up to a manager and asked him if we were doing it right. We added all the items we wanted with the digital coupons. The manager told us to not worry if it doesn't work to just tell our cashiers to give us the digital discounts. We went to check out and the cashier told us she couldn't do that without a manager. She left and tried to find a manager. My husband bagged all the groceries because there wasn't any employees bagging. She came back and asked us which items we wanted digital savings. There was a big line behind us as it was 4th of July weekend. My husband told her to forget it.
We are tired of not receiving the digital savings. Our reward cards so be all anyone needs. We are not uneducated. We have missed out on alot of savings when yall implemented digital coupons. I feel sorry for all the elderly and low income people with children who cannot receive the savings either. We will be shopping @ other stores like Walmart, Winco & Broulim's who do not have digital coupons. We have asked several managers and cashiers to relay our frustrations about this.

If you have anywhere to go shopping other than Fred Meyer in Burien, I recommend doing so when Manager C. GREEN is working. Extremely rude, impudent, unprofessional. Today she stated that she cannot return the partial bill that the cashier previously gave me in order to determine that my bill was correct. For God's sake, who do you give the bill to if not the customer. She pretended to be the store manager and did not want to call the real manager even if my account was incorrect. JUST TO STATE I HAVE BEEN SHOPPING AT THAT FM IN BURIEN FOR 25 YEARS AND ONLY BAD EXPERIENCE MOSTLY. Kudos to the exceptions.

I'm 67 years young and some man scanned my driver's license yesterday after I bought a cheap bottle of white wine to cook with. Scan my private license? What next you'll need my Social Security card? I feel violated. No one should be scanning a drivers license! Are your employees that dumb that they can't figure if a person is 21 or over? Where does the info off my," private issued to me license" go? I will be involving the BBB and an attorney about this. This took place in Snohomish Wa. 98290

I just bought a 150$ cat tree from Fred meyers with cash and used my rewards card, yesterday. Not only did they only give me only the top half of my receipt (a $400+ cash receipt.. ) , but now that I am trying to return the cat tree, due to the fact that when I got home and opened it, there was NO CAT TREE in it AT ALL!!! The contents in the box were PURE TRASH!!!LITERALLY!! Some one had purchased it before me, took out the product, then proceeded to replace the item with what looked to me to be trash straight from some dumpster!!!... So now that I took my $150 purchase of dumpster trash to feed Meyer, they tell me that they can not give me my money back, nor swap it out with a box that ACTUALLY has the product in it because A: Basically they can't prove whether I put the trash in the box myself, or if I bought it that way , B: My receipt given to me is incomplete without the bar code - because the employee type it in half instead of off giving me the entire thing ... But lastly, they somehow are miraculously not even showing up in their system .. HOW IS THE PURCHASE I MADE YESTERDAY, WITH CASH - USING MY REWARDS CARD, LIKE I ALWAYS DO!!!- NOT SHOWING UP IN THE FU**ING SYSTEM?!!??! IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY G** D*MN SENSE!!!
I don't have alot of money. In fact, I spent literally every penny to my name last night. The only reason I spent that much on my cats in the first place is because those dirty balls of love are the ONLY friends or family I really have. Their companionship literally saved my life when my mental health was unstable enough to contemplate doing something dumb and permanent. And now that we've been booted out of our full sized apartment and now are being forced to live in a room the size of a freaking closet (no exaggeration), it's their turn to be depressed beyond the healthy point. The only thing they do now is sleep. They barely even eat because they have no room to play. They're not themselves and it is breaking my heart, So I spent my last dollars trying to give them some resemblance of joy, and what I recurve instead was a box full of trash and fed meyers is refusing to make the situation right!!!
I don't know what I can do, or where to go from here, all I know is this is seriously messed up!

I had purchased something from the Fred Meyer in Auburn got home and it didn't work tried to return it and they tried telling me that they won't take back used products when I had my receipt and the manager had also told me to f**k off when I started to argue that I had just purchased the item and it didn't work not happy with the service I received along with be stuck with something that doesn't work don't shop at the auburn Fred Meyer

Hi my name is Ben and in a 65 year old I went to the store in Tacoma on so 19th got a little basket and put it on the table now I'm texting trying to answer a question. Dan the cashier tells me not ask me to empty the basket out that it would be faster. I tell him I thought that was his job. Now the bad girl at the end of the counter starts to complain to me. What the heck if this is the customer service that you have in your Kroger grocery stores you need to Tran your workers better if you go to the Metropolitan market down off of Proctor they will show you how to treat a customer. And not first time been treated bad at your store just the first time I'm sticking up for bad service.

Apparently greed wins out again. First, a charge for point of sale cash back, now, cutting fuel points for prescriptions in half! I spend at least
500 a month in groceries at Fred's and close to 1000.00 in prescriptions! Goodbye Fred, Hello Safeway and Winco. I'm done with you guys.

Fred Meyers Klamath falls oregon. The worst store since Kmart.once again I go to do some shopping, what do I find, unable to walk anywhere without tripping or not able to get to a product because they have so much crap on the floor employees laying on the floor. What ever happen to take one cart out at a time unload and put it away then go back and get anothe. Check out cashier check stand 6 rude, walks away and leaves me standing their waiting on her, she asked if I found everything, I said no,and I explained why. I said the store looks like Walmart, her answer well go to Walmart I don't care and walked way.I asked to talk with the manager, she called, as I was waiting an employee stopped to check in with the manager and she saw me standing their and never asked if she good help me instead she walked back into here office. I waited about 5 minutes she never came out. I left and called your customer service basically their attuned was the same. So I wil not spend my $400_500 every two weeks their any more, this has been going on since the manager took over the store. I will drive to Medford 100 miles one way every two weeks just to get the customer service your store won't give here, to bad my money is not good enough for your store. I don't expect to get a positive reply to this, but oh well, how many other people stopped shopping their.

I had my groceries stolen by an Instacart shopper. I called Instacart and spoke with a manger who said they could not help me. I called a Kroger manager, also said they couldn't help me. I called and talked to a Dianna store manger of the Coeur d' Alene Idaho store. She said she couldn't help me and refused to give me her mangers name or contact information. Those groceries were to feed my family and now I am stuck without food or money to feed my family. I am reaching out for help. I have now spent hours on the phone and received nothing but sorry about your bad luck. Can a MANAGER who can help me please contact me?

Your Anchorage Abbott store is a disgrace. The produce is one step from rotten and you never, and I mean never, have hardly anything on the shelves. Don't give me the C19 B. S. I went to Safeway Carrs and found the shelves full, and the produce fresh. I have visited Walmart and the same there, fresh produce and full shelves plus they are less expensive. I don't know what your problem is, but if you want my business you had better learn from your competition. As your Abbott Store is worse than a third world market. The original Fred Meyers would never have stood for this kind of image, but then again it is now Kroger. Disgraceful what you have done to the image of Fred Meyers. Your page says I have already submitted this which I haven't, just another way for you to avoid criticism.

I shopped at Shoreline Fred Meyer this morning at 6 am. I was very disappointed to see many customers with their masks on below their noses and worse yet at least half of the employees had their masks below their noses. I was shocked and discouraged to see this. One red shirted young woman who looked like a manager because of her shirt was talking to a man who looked like an inventory person or a vendor and she had her mask down all the way around her neck and was not Social Distancing. I saw her twice in different parts of the store in the same manner. I did say something to her on my way out the door and I did speak to the main manager about everything I witnessed on this unfortunate visit. He said he can't do anything about how the customers wear their masks but he will send out an email to his employees to wear their masks properly. Perhaps you can have signs at entrances about proper mask wearing -

I live in Arkansas, the state where you guys have closed down the stores in both my town and the other store that was in Little Rock, ar. my husband purchased a lifetime..... repeat.. LIFETIME jewelry care plan, but now I have no where to take it to be inspected. again. all stores in the state has shut down. If they haven't, I cannot see where there is another one that is located anywhere in the state. I have called on several occasion. I have left voicemails. I have gotten customer service to take my information to email someone, I have gotten zero traction. My next stop is the BBB and the Bureau of consumer protection.

Ur irresponsibility due to covid19, not insuring customers safety, not issuing people to wear mask while inside the store, starting Monday June 29th. The rise in infected people spreading this deadly virus. Shame on you. We will no longer be a patrons, and I will spread this messages, u expect ur frontline employee's to be in harm's way, cause ur a private company really. U don't care about our safety then u will lose all our business. Worst part is u care more about the dollar then people's lives.

I was at Fred Meyers in Vancouver Washington at 16600 Southeast McGillivray Boulevard Vancouver Washington 98683 I was standing in line and ready to purchase my groceries.... I was told that baby wipes you couldn't get more than three even though the sign said the limit was five ...I understood because of the coronavirus going around so I told the cashier that's fine my brother-in-law behind me would be glad to purchase them and he lives in a different household than myself. Then a lady came up on the other side of the cashier and stated that she "was told about me and that I was told last night or the night before that I could not purchase multiple items of things." The problem was I had not been in the store the day before I did not know what she was a talking about and I told her that and she got louder and started talking about how it was wrong for me to purchase multiple items. I again told her that I was not at the store neither in the day or night before. I was never ever told anything at that store. She didn't believe me so she kept going on about it. My brother-in-law behind me had already been rung up for the baby wipes so he could take them home. She made them return the items and took them form him so she could put them back on the Shelf. That's when I decided I was no longer going to talk with this woman because there was no reasoning with her. She had the wrong person. Imagine yourself standing in line getting ready to check out and someone comes along and accuses you of something you never did. I was quite upset and torn by this and so I decided to go in today and talk to the manager that was there today. To my surprise it was the same person "Rachael" was there she went on to tell me that I was wrong that she was told by another manager to look out for me and all the stuff and I didn't do anything wrong I've never done anything wrong not the store. What is the world coming to when you can't go to the grocery store and purchase items that if they would have only had a sign up that said that you are limited to three of these particular items I would have never gotten the five or put the five in my cart. She said a quick "I'm sorry" with no meaning and then I should have just dropped it by then. She then turned and started talking to the employee next to her. I could not help but say of course you would talk with someone about my business. As I was walking away. She then made the child mouthing what i was saying to her as we went by... my brother in law watched her do this. I would think to get to be a manager at Fred meyers that you would have to be a professional. But i guess not! I tried to call corporate an no one was answering the phones. I felt like I've been wrongly targeted
at this store by management. I have shopped at this store for many years and have never had a problem and actually have enjoyed the staff here. Now I'm left wondering if a honest person like myself who has never stoled anything her life can be targeted then then this can happen to you too!! I do not believe I will ever shop this Fred Meyers again. Rachael the manager needs some extra training and I deserve a true apology from her. She embarrassed confront of a whole line of people and when I confronted her the next day she still acted righteous. No meaning in her one word apology. I would like fred meyers to respond to me!

TODAY, NEW YEARS EVE, 2012, I STOPPED BY FREDDYS N. MEDFORD STORE FOR FUEL. IT WAS 12:45. I TOLD THE ATTENDENT TO FILL IT WITH DEISEL, TWICE. THE FUEL CAP IS GREEN AND LABELED DIESEL. YOU GUESSED IT, HE PUT GAS IN MY EMPTY TANK--4+ GALS, BEFORE I SMELLED THE WRONG FUEL. I'M A VERY DISABLED PERSON ONLY ABLE TO WALK SHORT DISTANCES. I WAS FIRST TOLD TO JUST ADD DIESEL AND DRIVE AWAY, IT WOULD BE OK. I DIDN'T BUY IN TO THAT. NEXT I WAITED FOR SOMEONE ONE TO CONTACT THE STORE MANAGER--IN THE COLD, STUCK IN MY CAR.--OH THE PEOPLE BEHIND ME WERE GETTING P----D ON THIS VERY cold DAY. NEXT CAME THE WE'LL TAKE CARE OF IT, HAVE IT TOWED TO A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP--WELL I AM FIMILIAR WITH THIS SHOPS REPUTATION, SO I DECLINED , TELLING THEM TO TOW IT TO THE DEALER. THEY COULDN'T DO THAT. I ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE STORE MANAGER AND TOLD ME TO WALK THE 1/4 MILE TO HIS OFFICE, AGAIN I TOLD THEM I COULDN'T WALK. EVENTUALLY I ASKED THEM TO PUSH MY CAR OUT OF THE OF THE WAY, BY AND BY A PERSON COMES OUT SAYING HE'S THE MANAGER AND THEY WILL REIMBURSE ME FOR MY LOSS, SINCE THEY ONLY DEAL WITH THAT ONE REPAIR SHOP. FINALLY I CALL AAA , MYSELF. I ASK FOR A REPORT AND A BUSINESS CARD, THE STORE MANAGER DOESN'T HAVE A BUSINESS CARD AND I NEVER GET A REPORT, BUT I CAN BRING THE RECIEPTS FOR MY OUT OF POCKET AND THEY WILL SUBMIT TO THEIR INSURANCE--SHOULDN'T TAKE TO LONG COUPLE WEEKS TO A MONTH. THE CAR IS TOWED TO THE DEALER AND THIS OLD CRIPPLE IS WITHOUT TRANSPORTATION. THE AVOIDENCE OF ANY HELP AND OR CARING WAS BEYOND BELIEF. I FINALLY RETURNED HOME AT 3:33. I WANT TO THANK DICK'S TOWING AND LITHIA AUTO WHO WERE KIND AND HELPFUL. AS FOR FRED MEYERS SHAME ON YOU FOR YOUR MISTREETMENT!
