In September of 2023 I went to Chesapeake Urology in Salisbury, MD to have an ultrasound done to track what was going on with a kidney stone that I had not yet passed. In October I got a bill for a urine culture. I never gave a urine sample. To top it off, some poor sap has two pathogens in their urine and as far as I know, hasn't got a clue about it to this day. I contacted LabCorp and was told I had to go through Chesapeake Urology to get it straightened out. I've done that multiple times without success. They acknowledge that no urine culture was ordered for me and that no sample was collected. They stated they'd take care of it. I'm still getting bills from LabCorp so nothing has been dealt with and that poor sap still doesn't know he's got pathogens in his/her urine. I contacted LabCorp again to see if they'd fill in the gaps by contacting Chesapeake Urology. No joy! LabCorp representatives claim they have no means to contact Chesapeake Urology and that I have to do it. Every call to Chesapeake Urology entails about a 1/2 hour wait just to get to speak to someone, then I get shifted around and put on hold repeatedly. I've got work myself and sitting on hold repeatedly trying to sort someone else's mistake is just a wee bit frustrating. In this day and age of those handy devices we call telephones and computers as well as the internet, I find it difficult to fathom that LabCorp can't contact a medical facility to investigate a claim. The threats to send me to collections continue. Apparently there's no means to put the bill aside as disputed. I find both entities to be lacking in customer service as well as responsible for sorting out this mess rather than threatening to torpedo my credit rating over a matter that isn't my responsibility. The notion that LabCorp cannot reach out to a doctor's office is both absurd and infuriating. What's somewhat amusing is that this is for a bill that's just under $30. I've paid multiple bills with LabCorp in a timely fashion over the last few years and that seems to count for absolutely nothing.

Are you certain that a pleasant and competent tech will respond?
Worst experience in my 70 years on this Earth. Went to the LabCorp on Rt. 7 in Wilmington, Delaware to drop off a few specimens. When I walked in, the 2 techs were having a conversation. The one directly in front of the window had attitude well beyond what was necessary. I said I was there to do a drop off for Dr. Costanzo and it had to be refrigerated. I asked if I could get a receipt because he asked me to get one. The same tech informed me that there would be no receipt. The specimens were not drawn there, so no! I said fine. No problem! I was then directed to the kiosk to sign in. Why? No idea but I did. I then went back to the window and was told I could take the specimen "around back and put it in the basket, myself. Where would around back take me. As I walked back, the same tech followed me. I asked her where the basket was since there was another tech standing directly in front of it. She looked at me and said, "It's right in front of your face!" I was stunned and the tech just stopped and stared at her. I just turned and went to the doir and stood for a minute. As I weighed my options of either laying her out in front of all her patients and coworkers alike, or just give her a pass and go. So that's what I did. I just wanted you to know what kind of rude and ignorant person you have working for you. You really need to address this serious issue and all of the terrible reviews on your website!

LabCorp is a scam. I paid for a test and was told I could go to a lab 32 miles from my house, which was okay since we live in a very small town. After I paid for the test I called them for an appointment and was told they are a third party lab and cannot accept me as a LabCorp patient. I was told I have to go to a lab over 100 miles away. When I contacted LabCorp "customer service" they were unbelievably rude and no help at all. I was on the call for 45 minutes and most of that time was on hold. Finally I asked for a supervisor and was put on hold once again. The next thing I knew I was connected to an even ruder person who said I was speaking to Pixel and they are not associated with LabCorp which is an outright lie.

I want to compliment Julie Valenzuela of Denton Colorado office. She is excellent at drawing blood, neither myself nor my wife knew when the needle went in. Neither one of us bled and I am on blood thinners.

At my last visit, I was advised that there was a procedure which the insurance would not cover.
I stated that if I had to pay for it, I did not want it.
So, I signed a form declining the procedure.
My complaint/suggestion is that I should have been given a copy of that form.
The report indicates that I refused the procedure but does NOT indicate that it was based on payment.
Perhaps the form implies that but not having a copy, I do not know the exact verbiage.
Please advise. Thank you.

Already have an apt. Just trying to call to get the time. Called the Lab Corp that the apt is at, was told that can't give out that information, was told to call 855-277-8669, an automated number that would not give a prompt to get that info, nor a prompt to talk to a person. Tried calling the local "admin" office, was told they don't deal with "patient issues". I just want to show up at the right time for my already scheduled apt.
I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

The reason I am contacting you is that some policy needs to be changed. I went to LabCorp for a blood work up that my doctor requested me to do. I went to the LabCorp in Brentwood, Ca. on Feb 25th. I have issues with diabetes and creatinine levels. My doctor called me about getting my blood test done and I replied done on Feb 25. The lab did not inform my doctor (this is the second time)( Dr. Heo) because they didn't have her zip code is what we were told. What??? That is so easy to get and no one even tried at LabCorp so they just held on to the results. Thank you LabCorp for making me feel special..!!! Someone please look into this issue

I was at your Wesley Chapel office this morning for an 8:00 a.m. lab appointment that I made online. I get there and the place is packed but when I inquire I am told that not everyone has appointments and that anyone with an appointment will be seen on time. I did not get my labs drawn until 10:00 A.M.! Add to that the fact that your employee at this location, a young African-American man, who REFUSED to give his name to myself and other patients when asked was rude and disrespecful. He told one guy who had brought his children under the age of 4 in for labs and was understandably quite upset at having to wait for over an hour to get their labs taken that he would call the police if he did not sit down...and this response was when this guy asked him what his name was so he could lodge a complaint. He finally came to draw my blood and he was not only rude and unprofessional but was being very aggressive in his manner when taking my blood by putting on the tourniquet SO TIGHT that I could not stand the pain and when I asked that he loosen it a bit he stated that I was just going to have to deal with the pain since he needed it tight in order to get my vein. He finally did when I INSISTED that he release it a bit. I have had my blood drawn many many times and I have never had to have a tourniquet on so tight. Then when he put the bandage on afterwards he again wrapped it so tight that I could see my arm swelling from the pressure!! When I got up to leave he nastily and with attitude told me You're Welcome and I told him that I had nothing to thank him for as I had been made to wait for over 2 hours for my appointment with NO APOLOGIES whatsoever and that his treatment towards me had not been nice at all, so what was I supposed to thank him for. When I left several patients outside that were still waiting had heard me and congratulated me for telling him what I did as EVERYONE was quite upset at not only the wait, but also the treatment from this employee. Please contact me to let me know what you plan on doing about this. I should not have to be treated like this in a medical facility and be made to wait for this long. My arm is literally still aching from his BRUTAL TREATMENT of it. Thank you for listening. I hope to hear from someone.

I do not appreciate the rude greeting I received today from your location at St. Francis center in Midlothian,Va. Her name is F. Harris. I would appreciate someone explaining to her that customer service is what you are providing to customers not rudeness. I believe it is a racial issue with her. I expect someone to contact me within 24 hours about this or I will report this to my local TV station to report this. Then you guys can answer their questions.

Please explain to me the logic that my doctor gets my results before I do, I can't get them even a day later, and I'm the one paying $2100 for them all!!!! How does that logic work?
And they insist you only contact them via their website. What the heck?

And best of all, AT the location, the receptionist was telling people they HAD to give them a credit card to keep on file, in case of co pays, etc! I was like what??? That is completely against the law. If you have insurance, they cannot do any such thing. They didn't get my credit card or FSA card that's for sure, and I called the girl out on insisting people give her one. She tried to say, she never said it was REQUIRED, but I had been sitting there listening to her tell the 4 people in front of me just that. I hate this company and will be informing my career, who insists we use them.

After a month, I took my 5 year old back to the doctor for her follow up after bloodwork. The results had never been sent, so they requested them. They did the WRONG blood work and its been so long that they most likely do not have retains. Now I have to take my traumatized daughter back to redo it!

the State Street site Dover Delaware I've been coming here for years today January 26 2015 was my worst experience ever the two young ladies at the front dest were rude uninformativeI will never use State Street again they spoke my business out loud to where the other customers we're looking at me it took everything in me not to give them a piece of my mind I think when you choose nurses and phlebotomist the number one quality should be privacy patients rights

My name is Travis A Crabtree I live in Kingston Tn. I worked for Lab Corp for 2.5 years as a service rep in the Knoxville Tn area.

I always did a good job got along well with my co workers. and my clients on my route. I have above good evaluations by my supervisor. Then one day I had a run in with Norman Crowe Supervisor at knoxville. And he fired me due to RETALIATION. I was always told that lab corp frowned on supervisor who RETALIATED against employees who tried to do the right thing .

But this must not pertain to NORMAN . Trust me when I say Norman Crowe

is NO Supervisor. And lacks the skills for this.

The LabCorp office on Teague Rd in Hanover, MD, is severely understaffed. The office is in a fairly new attractive building with crackerjack doctors who have caring staff.
There is one person working there (9.9.13 and 9.10.13)who does take in computer processing and the blood tests and other tests. She seems competent, but has NO personal interaction skills and is a bit snippy at times. When I went the second day to drop off a sample for lab testing I mentioned it had to be refrigerated. She had one person waiting in the back and two people in the waiting room. She took my paper bag with the sample, set it behind her on her desk, and said, "You can go now." I repeated that I had refrigerated the sample according to directions and I wanted to make sure it remained refrigerated. Instead of properly assuring me, she said, "It will get done when I have time to process it." I said, "When will that be? Will it be soon?" She replied, "It will get done when I have time to process it."
I am not complaining about the employee. She was probably snippy because she is overworked, time pressured and there may have even been some racism, though I can understand that because I have studied such issues. I put all the blame on LabCorp for not putting another person in the office. Is LabCorp not making enough money that they can't hire another person? Certainly, this can't be true.
I will NEVER go back to another LabCorp, not even because it is convenient in the medical office building I frequent often.
Fix this! Shame on LabCorp. If anyone within LabCorp is reading this, and you don't want to deal with this, give it to your supervisor. This is good feedback only if you do something about it.

on june 16,2013 i had lab work in one of you labs located in the university of tennessee hospital in knowville, tn.
the experience was terrible. my wait was 55 minutes. the reason for the long wait i feel was your employees were standing around visiting with each other. the lab teck at the front desk was chewing widely on gum, standing and talking with a man at the desk for the whole 55 minutes. i asked how many tecks they had and the teck that drew my blood said the "supposively had 3". at the time she was the only one helping the patients. this is truly unacceptable with the patients that were really sick and waiting in wheel chairs and unable to wait this length of time.
