called on star late sat. Night when my car stopped after leaving work.was told by on star operator I needed to stay in my car and wait for tow truck.It two hour's for tow truck driver to arrive.This is a useless. Service.I have decided to go with AAA.after waiting two hour's I was that I could have left the car with key's and stated I wanted an unattended towing.DO SUBSCRIBE to onstar.When the 90 trail is up cancel.

I am a working Musician. I have been an Onstar subcriber since 2000. I rely on Onstar to get me to wherever I have to perform directly, & without delay.

Recenty however, Onstar has gotten me LOST more than I have gotten to desired location!!

On October 30th, I was hired to perform in Staten Island N.Y.for a job that started at 8PM. I left my home at 6PM, punched Onstar, got the route which told me I was approximately 55 minutes away from the location.

As I got started on the Onstar route, I hit terrible traffic, so I once again hit the Onstar button & asked for for an alternete route.

They sent me south to the George Washington Bridge, OK, to route 1&9--strange. However, trusting Onstar, I followed the route which is a truck route going south through an entirely industrial area.

Came to the end of the 1&9- beared left as told to do so & wound up by the Holland Tunnel going bact to New York!!!!!

Shoched, I immediately pressed the Onstar button, & was told to go through the Holland Tunnel, over the Manhattan Bridge to Flatbush Ave to which I interupted the woman & told her I had to get to Staten Island, not Brooklyn!

Schocked, I stopped the car, looked around, made a right turn, another right turn, & proceeded to get back to route 1&9 where I saw a sign for the New Jersey Turnpike.

I immediately hit the Onstar Button, demanded a Supervisor, explained my situation & she was able to get the proper directions to where I had to go.

Well I finally got to my destination, however I arrived at 8:15 PM--15 minutes late for my job & was sent home.

I lost $350.00, plus gas, & tolls for the evening.

Once again, I left my home at 6PM, & arrived at 8:15PM--two hours & 15 minutes for the trip!

However, it only took me about 50 minutes to get home!!!!

Called Onstar the following day Friday Oct. 31,, & NEVER got a call back until I called Mon, Tues , & finally got to speak to someone on Wed, afer being told the called me & got no answer. Strange because I never left the house! Liars!!

Well after speaking with the "Offline Team" they felt that 3 months of free Onstar should suffice for their wrongdoing.

I asked to speak with Mr. Terry Inch, or Mary Chan.

Guess what folks--cannot speak to them or E-Mail them personally.

I was also suddenly informed to read thee "Terms & Conditions" of Onstar where they suggest that the routes given by them are not 100% correct. Therefore, they can get you lost, & NOT be responsible for it! For this I have paid $300.00 a year for the past 14 years for a total of $4200.00!

For that kind of money, I could have gone on a nice Cruise or something where I would not have had to rely on Onstar!

Anyone who had any contact for either Mary Chan, or Terry Inch, I would appreciate receiving it. I can be reached at

Family Link is lousy! I keep getting error code 69300. When I call no one can help and say it should work tomorrow which it does not! But I still get charged!

I had to cancel my ONSTAR because they are charging someone elses bill to my charge card..since JULY!!!. I have been on the phone with them so many times to straighten this out..I cancelled my account my husbands and put on social media NOT to get ONSTAR.. I have now been on the phone again this morning for 20 min and still having a problem with getting my charge card credited.

Just got to say that onstar had,always handled my issues extendingfree sevice providing extra time on pnone ive always been happy use the service every day even at times when I had no servace they still gave me curtisy directions thank you on star George simmons

I have had OnStar since 2005. I purchased a new 2013 car and had a 8 month remaining subscription on my 2005. I contacted OnStar and asked them to transfer the remaining 8 months to my new car after the 6 month trial on the 2013. I was told that a credit would be issued - they do not transfer.

Waiting 3 months and not seeing a credit on my MC credit card - I inquired. I was told by "billing" that a credit was issued in March to a credit card ending in 4745. I was puzzled because I do not - never have - owned a credit card with those ending numbers! I told them that over and over with the numerous phone calls trying to straighten this out! They were satisfied that a credit was issued ($81.24) to someone and did not care that it WAS NEVER ISSUED TO ME. I even asked to speak to supervisors to no avail. I was even told that there is NO CEO of the company to contact! I needed to accept their lame effort to issue a credit. Now OnStar is sending me renewal notices as my "trial" subscription expires in Sept 2013.

I WILL NOT BE RENEWING THEN OR EVER WITH THE SHODDY WAY CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONDED TO MY SITUATION!

USERS OF ONSTAR BEWARE!!!!!

ive had onstar for a couple months and I am new to the service before so far NOT happy
I got the family link so that I can track my kids and EVERYTIME I try to track them I get a stupid error code of 69300
If its not gonna work and work like it should im NOT gonna pay for a service
I think its a complete RIP OFF
not happy and would never recommend.

I am stuck on a mountain pass in Vermont. Pressed on-star emergency response no answer. On star explanation is that cell phone service was not working. I should have planned my accident to be in an area with good cell phone coverage

I was in an accident my airbag deployed!!!! Total loss on my car!!! Unconscious on side of the road!!!! No on star response!!!! Called to determine why no response!!! They said we attempted to call but there was no answer!!! So they did nothing!!!!!

I am very disafied with onstar my car has been gone two days and i have family link where i can track it my self but i keep getting this error message 69300 and customer servise is of no help If i am aying a fee and can tract it at home when i call onstar they should tell me where the car is .If you casn't help me when i need it I don't
NEED ON STAR Also when you bring up onstar services family link is not displayed you have to type it in the search box onbstar should p0ay us to use their service

Where is the direct corporate number for an American, English speaking person that might, just might fix an issue! You have ONSTAR number, but I apparently have that since I have Onstar, but not much longer!!!! Need somone up in corporate who actually has a clue!!!!!!!!!

I have had Onstar since 2008 as another subscriber and since April I have had nothing but problems. My service is disrupted when I need navigation the most and takes hours of my time trying to resolve. I was told not to call back anymore they would can when it was fixed !!! Today an advisor called and asked if it was fixed, I told him no one had called to tell me they had worked on itand I haven't tried it. Also the tech support people don't comprehend English but speak well. Give me a break, before this started my husband and I would not do without Onstar, now my smartphone can navigate me just fine. Thanks for leaving me stuck in a unfamiliar city trying to take my husband to the hospital while explaining several times what happened to my service. By the way, they told me to push the red emergency button and it took forever for someone to answer and she said she couldn't figure out why because they weren't busy.

I was promised one price, but when I called back another price was given. I spoke with Robson the manager which was no help at all and actually accused me of not hearing the agent correctly. I was very insulted and asked him to please review the call which he refused. I asked for his manager and he refused that as well. No wonder the service is awful because management sets such a bad example. No way should this guy be handling escalated calls. Not sure if I can trust these type of people to save my life!

I have had on-star since 2008,and I have been a huge supporter. I bought a new 2012 Buick LaCrosse almost 2 months ago. I have been trying to get it right for the entire time. When I call for turn-by-turn directions, my call goes to activation. Each time after several transfers, I am told that now it works. Last Friday morning, I was connected with the tech department and was told they would call me back when it was fixed. Well, no call yet. Does my car need to go back to the dealership or what?

I Was a Onstar user I Was Travling This Summer From North Carolina Once I Needed On Star In the Early in the day Could get them. I tried 4 or 5 times nothing Then I Tried Later That evening around 8pm Nothing Tried again & again It was getting Dark I Was Was lost But Nothing. I call back The next AM Thats when they said Can I Help you. That Was to Late Not Happy. My wife & I are Over 75 yrs old
