Will NEVER use Orbitz again. More than FOUR HOURS on hold??? Still never got through! I have an urgent need to make a change and you guys BAIL? WTH, Orbitz? Get someone to call me.

I would NEVER book thru Orbitz again. There is NO ONE to speak with. In the last 3 weeks, I have spent 11 hrs and 45 minutes ON HOLD. Even if someone takes your information, they put you back ON HOLD or send you to the airline for a non-airline question. Call Customer service? You get put right back on hold. Email? They never answer. They don't care about you once you have booked.

I have a disability. I needed a minivan for my trip to Mexico for my wheelchair. I made sure to make the reservation 6 months ago. It was for $750. I was checking on the reservation and found out the reservation had been "lost". I called Orbitz and called Orbitz and called Orbitz to straighten this out. All I have to show for it after 6 weeks of chasing them; being "transferred (their code for hanging up on you); being told they were "just waiting for a manager's approval" to make a new reservation and honor the original price" but never getting an "approval" is NOTHING. Bottom line, despite knowing my situation. Despite my spending hours and hours of my time trying to resolve this, I do not have a car and can't afford the extra $1,500 the minivans cost now. I leave in 2 days and have no idea what I will do since I can't cancel my plans (I lose all my money) or spend the extra $1500 so I can fit my wheelchair, and then do nothing on my vacation since all the money will go to pay for the car or ??? I understand why your reviews are so bad. If this is the way you handle people with disabilities, it is saying something about the type of company you are.

My problem started with Orbitz approx. 6 weeks ago. I had booked a van for Cancun. I was checking something and discovered Orbitz"lost" but had not contaced me. I called them and have been trying, unsuccesfully, during the past 1 1/2 months, to get this resolved. I am a senior citizen with a disabilty and must have things in place when I arrive. I've spent hours and hours on the phone with Orbitz and I'm told....we will get back to you within 24 - 48 hours; we are just waiting for a manager's approval; we will transfer you to the correct person (then I am cut off); we will have this situation resolved by (fill in the various dates they gave me); blah, blah, blah. I am leaving on Monday (which they were told). It is Saturday. They are still avoiding and evading. I am going to have to pay thousands more for a van, since that's all I can use....if I can even get a van that is located in the terminal at this late date.
I'm writing while on hold for someone to come on the line with the latest excuse. It's been 40 minutes so far.
I've traveled a lot and never had as many problems with a company. The fact their corporate phone number is so difficult to find suggests they are "hiding" from unhappy customers.?. I agree with all the extremely bad reviews I have read. I plan on filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well as thinking about a lawsuit. They did NOT live up to their contract they made with me.
Something feels very "shady" and "off.

PS. After finally getting someone after 40 minutes, I was "accidentally" (???) cut off.

I have had the WORST purchase experience of my life today. I have spent a combined total of over 4 hours today trying to make a simple purchase with your company. I am a retail store manager and I am disgusted by the service (and lack of service) I received from your company and customer service supervisors. If I conducted myself this way at my job, I would be out of one. Lets recap my day: 45 minutes trying over & over again to purchase a flight, 1 1/2 hours on phone the first time (sales rep Rio). I was then promised a phone call back by a supervisor (Kyan) at 6:30 pm central time which I waited until 7:00pm for and never received. I then called back and asked to speak to him, and they would not connect me to him. I was then set up with another sales rep for 1 1/2 hours who would not get it done the way I was promised. She tried to have me pay more upfront for a refund, and then pay my car separate when I got to Orlando....who knows if that price would change again by the time I got down there....based on my experience so far I would assume that would be a strong possibility. Every step along the way I was told that I can get my package price ( 4 separate times by 3 different individuals) that I was promised on the website and every step along the way I was then denied this package each time by the person who said they could do this for me. I have verified each step along the way that the price was still available on your website (refreshing each time along with deleting cookies and browser history to get up to date info) and each time I checked the price was still listed, but unable to purchase. As I am typing this I have now been waiting over an hour for a manager to call me back to try and resolve this.

The Orbitz rescheduled my flight out of blue after a month of original purchase, make me leave Barcelina, Spain earlier then I wanted to, 7:40am instead of 12:05pm, separated me from my boyfriend with no apology. When we asked fpr a reason, they lied to us and blamed on Lufthansa. But we found out the truth.
After 7 hours of negotiation with Orbitz Reps we finally got back together on the same flight but had to switch to early flight. Our dream vacation become a nightmare thanks to Orbitz. Please, wake up, help those who need help, stop saying thing in such a robotic way, improve CS to the level of UNDERSTANDING and COMPASSION . Orbitz you suck!!!!!
