I am a faithful customer at pearl vision in Minneapolis on Lake Street. I ended up getting a pair of glasses from Pair Eyeware and I got them adjusted at the lake street location and when I got them home to clean them better (it's darker in the area where they adjust glasses and I have eye issues and I was just so happy they weren't falling off I didn't notice that there 3 huge long deep scratches in my right lens at the top. I didn't notice until I took them off to clean them better at home as there were still fingerprints on them. I called Pearl vision and told them the issue and I talked to the manager or assistant manager named Josh and he didn't even apologize about it. Told me there weren't responsible and I understand that but I should absolutely should have no scratches on my new lenses and part of the frames. I understand you're using heat to adjust the glasses but again there should be absolutely no scratches on my lenses if your using the right type of cloth to clean them. I was just calling to let them know that that is what happened so that it wouldn't happen to anyone else and that he used a very dirty cloth he had been using all day instead of using a new cloth that that's how my glasses got scratch but instead I was talked down to and was accused of lying, and that they were already scratched and why I didn't notice when I left. When honestly this had NEVER happened to me in all the years I've been wearing glasses. I am 35 and been wearing glasses since I was 10. Because of how I was treated and making it seem like I was lying when I get my glasses from pearl vision all the time multiple times a year because I have lupus, I will never buy glasses from pearl vision ever again.

Hi! There is a problem with the postcard sent to patients. The form number of the card appears to be PVATRE01, a part # (perhaps) is 16810011-022-00005009. The past card states that the recipient (patient) has scheduled an appointment (time and date are printed on the card) which must be confirmed.

On the day after receiving the postcard, I call the office and was told by the technician side of the operation that the doctor's office was not open and I should call back the next day, after 9:20 am. She also said there was no appointment scheduled for me on the date/time printed on the card. Somehow they managed to get my name right -- will wonders never cease!

I called back today at 9:30 am. The Dr.'s office told me there is no appointment scheduled for me and THERE NEVER WAS. She offered the first open appointment is December 29, at 12:20 pm. I of course took that appointment.

When I complained about the misleading postcard message, I was told it is not controlled by the individual office, but is controlled by the corporate office. Whether that is true or not is of no matter: the Corporation certainly has a responsibility to remedy the situation, which this office claims to have reported several times.

But I want you to know that the obvious deceit of the day is the luring aged people who live pretty much hand to mouth these days and are easy targets for the extra charges for missing medical/dental/etc. appointments is NOT APPRECIATED.

I have used your company services for eye exams and to purchase a number of pairs of glasses in the 24 year since becoming a resident of Norfolk, VA. I am sorry that you are turning out to be just another immoral, anti-truth social pariah.

We keep calling the Chillicothe Oh Pearle Vision. Leaving messages and never get a call back. My husband needs a new lens in his glasses while they are still under warranty. Time is running out. Also, was going to visit the Pearle Vision in Melbourne FL and see if service was any better. Apparently all office are the same and don't return calls either.

The Pearle Vision in Taylor is thee worst office ever. Arbitrarily closed on Thursdays for no reason. Closed on the BUSIEST SHOPPING DAY OF THE YEAR on Black Friday and put no note in the door so people kept coming and I waited in my car for 1.5 hours thinking they were on lunch. Ride office staff and a smug and arrogant woman who works the front desk. Why would any comoa h want their name associated with this location who puts their customer last and will not be open when e ery other location was on the busiest shopping day if the year? Do not go here. Go to another location. AND they have NO LATE DAYS for people who work.

The scheduling person in the Harrisburg, Jonestown office is rude, sarcastic, and very shot with you on the phone. She doesn't address all your questions and hangs up on you. Better customer service/ scheduling person needed for that office.

I Have Been Waiting For My Glasses Since July 15, 2022. I Call Everyday To See If Anybody Is Working At The Cold Spring Ky Store To Pick Up My Glasses, But No One Will Answer The Phone. The Store Says It Is Open Online, But When You Show Up At The Store, There Is A Sign On The Door That Says They Closed Early Due To Short Staff. Poor Customer Service!!! I Just Want My Glasses And A Full Refund For Having To Wait This Long. Never Ever Will I Go Back To Pearle Vision!!!

Ordered glasses August 23. It is September 19 and still do not have them. Was told weeks ago that the lens were not right when the store opened them, and they sent them back. They have been in "processing" for weeks. Constantly call and get the same answer. My boyfriend is a truck driver, his livelihood depends on being able to see, and we were told up to 14 days. It's been almost double that. Very disappointed. Even Walmart can get you something to see out of within 2 weeks. Pay premium prices for frames, since that's all Pearl carries, but does no good when you can't even get them. We only used them because they were considered a premier insurance partner. Cannot reach anyone thru the corporate number. EXTREMELY dissatisfied.

I bought glasses from Pearl vision in Owensboro ky they had me to buy exceeded warranty said it would cover any that happen to my glasses no question asked .So now the lens fell out of my glasses and they want cover it they said they will fix the Lens but the frame has to be broke for the lens to fall out but they say they will only fix the lens so why would you do that they will just fall out again.So now there telling me pearl vision is independent own so there is no real pearl vision .So there warranty is a piece of a sh-t just like there glasses.So to say I will never buy there again or anyone that I see will because I will let everyone know how sh-Ty they are.

February 15, 2022 I had and exam. All went well, no complaints there. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was told my lenses would be in, in 7-10 business days then it would take another 3-5 business days to put the lenses in my current frames. I was told that this was because they were not pearle visions frames. I'm sorry, a frame is a frame regardless of where it came from. I'm sure pearle vision has frames the same size as mine, sad excuse reaally. Anyway, it has been 20 business days and 1 month/1 day since my exam and I still do not have anything. They were quick to charge my card, right! If they call it's too late, I'm moving on and I will be calling for a refund. But thanks for being responsible! (sense the sarcasim).

I have a friend that work ok pearlevision center in hatillo puerto rico. How is it possible that an assistant manager dont let them work with patients that arrive. All she want is to earn all the commissions from the sales. Is not fair for the other employees. The manager already told her to stop taking all the patients but she still doing it. Where are the rules on this company?

I just wanted to express my concern and dissatisfaction with the Chillicothe Ohio location. My daughter and I have gone to this location for about 3 years now and up until this year we were somewhat satisfied with our service. However, over the last 3 months my opinion has changed dramatically. Both my daughter and I have been 3 months trying to get an appointment to get our eyes checked. We have left several messages and no one calls us back. When you call the store, you immediately get placed on hold for about 10 minutes before getting put into their message system. This is VERY unprofessional. You need to have someone answering the phone and talking with the clients. If you are going to have a message system then you need to have the courtesy of calling the person back the same day and not ignoring their calls. My daughter even applied for a job there last summer and was told she was not qualified. How much qualification do you need to answer the phone and make appointments or call people back? Well, Pearl Vision is not the only eye place in Chillicothe so my daughter and I have went elsewhere. To an actual eye doctor where the office answers the phone and wants to genuinely take care of the customer and appreciate their business. My daughter wears contacts and I wear glasses and we would get our eyes checked every year so in my opinion you not only lost one customer, but two. I would take a good hard look at this location and if you cannot run it properly my suggestion is to close it.

Just had the most horrible experience with Pearle Vision specifically at the location in Tampa, FL (Address: 3708 Henderson Boulevard Tampa, FL 33609) I strongly disagree with the way that Pearle Vision handles the appointment setting online. I scheduled my eye exam appointment online on the website. And right after I scheduled the appointment it specified that my appointment was successfully scheduled. So at that moment everything was good to go. Then I receive two text messages to confirm that I am still able to come to my appointment which was scheduled for today 1/29th Saturday at 3pm. The confirmation messages were sent yesterday Friday and Thursday at the same time 4pm. I get out of work at 6pm, and I did what was asked of me, which was to confirm my appointment on the text message. However I confirmed at 6:30pm because like I mentioned before, I get out of work late and I'm not allowed to have my phone out while I'm on the clock. So I go ahead and make the trip of a 40 min drive to the Pearle Vision location, which is the nearest one to where I live, to attend my scheduled appointment at 3pm. Only for them to tell me that they canceled my appointment for my eye exam because I did not confirm the appointment EXACTLY at 4pm. I confirmed too late therefore my spot was given to someone else! On top of that I explained this to one of the employees about my situation and if it was possible that they could still see me at 3pm, because at the end of the day I STILL confirmed that I was indeed going to attend the appointment. Yet the employee explained that it's part of the policies issued by HR and the head quarters of Pearle Vision. Me being already frustrated and disappointed with the waste of time and effort they made me go through, I simply suggested to this individual that HR and higher ups should fix the policies for scheduling and confirming the appointments and be a little bit more understanding and flexible with their clients. This young man proceeded to sarcastically make an irrelevant comment about how he has two jobs and that this shouldn't have been an issue for me. In other words, he made me feel like this was all my fault and that I was not responsible enough to properly confirm an appointment. At no point time did I ask him if he had 2, 3, or 4 jobs at any time of the conversation. And that is not the way to speak to a customer at all, he needs to learn how to have compassion for customers, even when they are highly in distress for a situation that could have been avoided. I asked the employee to get his manager so I could speak to her, and make it known that the policies should be more flexible. For example, from the beginning right after I successfully scheduled my appointment online, Pearle Vision should specify right there in that exact moment to the customer that it is "MANDATORY" to confirm the appointment via text message before 4PM. And if that the appointment is NOT CONFIRMED BY 4PM then the appointment would be automatically CANCELLED. Therefore the spot will be given to some else. The manager did not seem to care at all about the way that her employee was handling this situation. Personally, in my opinion I will never be returning back to Pearle Vision EVER AGAIN along with my entire family who were also loyal customers for several years. This is very disappointing to be treated in such a disrespectful manner. I highly recommend that the CEO and the whole entire HR team re-evaluate the policy for scheduling and confirming appointments online, and to speak with both the manager and all of the employees at this Tampa, FL Location. Since apparently the manager and the employees do not know how to properly handle situations with respect, compassion, or any professionalism whatsoever. (Manager: Robin M. I had a terrible experience at your location in Orland Park. I would like to start with I have been going to this location for the past 3 years and I have had great experiences up until last month. I purchased 2 pairs of frames and my girlfriend also purchased 2 pairs of frames. We both had a date of 10/12/2021 to pick up our glasses. Hers were ready on the 12th but mine were not, which is understandable considering everything going on. I finally get a text on 10/26 that my glasses were ready, so I went on my lunch to try them on. Both of the pairs had adhesive on the sides and around the lenses. The associate encouraged me to try them on and she would clean them after. As I was trying on the second pair she got up to try and clean the first pair. While I was waiting I seen a paper with my name on it so I picked it up to read and when she came back she snatched it out of my hand and said I couldn't see it. I explained that it had my name and information on it so I wasn't quite sure why I could not see it. Unfortunately she still was not able to get the adhesive off but at this point I was frustrated. I then explained I was not happy with the quality and I wanted a refund. She stated she couldn't do it but a manager could, unfortunately the manager was on lunch. The associate kept telling me to take them anyway but I refused in that condition. She encouraged me to pick out different frames but I had already spent time there last time to pick these 2 frames and I wasn't confident in the quality. The associate then said the manager would call me after lunch. The associate called me back and said the manager declined the return and said the return policy on the website does not include their location. I asked to speak to her and the associate said she had stepped out. I asked for her to call me back and she said she would call me back but hopefully before they close at 7. The associate called me back again to say the manager would return the money I spent but that they own my benefits. I was obviously frustrated and asked to speak to the manager but I was told they had left. I am still waiting to hear back but I still have not. I went to another eyeglass location and shared my experience so they tried to talk to the manager as well because they called to get my prescription but the manager was on lunch. This has been a very poor customer experience and very disappointing all together as they have kept both my frame allowances and lenses and I have no glasses to show for it.

Got glasses in Medina Ohio on North Court St and didn't the the glasses so I took them back in 3 days and found a smaller cheaper pair when I picked them up I asked the girl for a refund for the between the glasses and she told me it went towards the the lenses to i wend home and called the insurance company and Matt told me they didn't bill the insurance company for the lenses so I went back up there and ask for a refund so the store manager talked to me and told me it was a courtesy they replaced my glasses I said no it's your own policy and she told me the technician told me I wasn't getting a refund I said ten I wouldn't of gotten cheaper glasses so get me back my old glasses and left don't go here they don't even follow their own polices.

Store: Eatontown NJ off RT 35. I purchased bifocals for my 70 yr old father in beginning of September. Total:$587.00 I have sent them back 2 times because he cannot see with them. The store took them back first time because the doctor made a mistake on his exam. The second time he still couldn't see well so they took them back to make them like his original old glasses and removed the bifocal but didn't refund us for the bifocal which were more expensive. I just picked them up today and he still can't see with them. What is going on? He is seriously upset and hypertensive since his stroke in January. Why should we be stuck with glasses and cost for something he can't wear and see out of? I would appreciate a call to resolve this because the shop said they cannot refund our money. We are stuck now and I am completely annoyed that they are quick to take money without giving us a quality product. Wasted money and time!!!

I went to pearl Vision Austell Georgia yesterday to get my glasses adjusted. The lady came back and told me she broke my Gucci glasses. She looked around to find a frame that can fit my lens and give me a cheaper brand with a white inside frame that hurts the hell out of my eyes, until they can order the same glasses which may be discontinued, least to say I almost got in a car wreck going home. then when she realized she was running out of options, another employee brought a sign from the other side of the room that said they are not responsible for breaking people's glasses. I asked her why is that sign not on the door nor why was it not disclosed to me when she took my glasses. Needless to day she had my lens on the table with no protection on it and it is chipped and scratched. still waiting a call.

To whom it may concern,
I had negative experience with Pearl Vision 20 years ago on Roosevelt Blvd in Philadelphia, PA and tried to avoid your company by using other optic shop. Now I am going through chemo for breast cancer and prefer not go far away to my favorite optic shop, so gave a second chance to Pearl Vision in Warminster, PA on York Rd. The optometrist was great, but optician was very arrogant and unprofessional. I brought to store brand new frame for new lens using new prescription from your optometrist. The comments made by optician were: " I will not be responsible for lens and glasses that are not bought in our store and for holes drilled also!". I pointed out the same style glasses I wear now that are done at different shop 4 years ago. I told him that other shop made it for me and he implies he can't do the same. The store could not order because style was discontinued, so store manager advised to go to Charmain Art site to see other frames and she would order for me. I checked website, but did not like anything, but bought the same exactly style from different optic shop on Ebay from Texas. Brand new glasses, with all tags from manufacture and all labels and markings. I needed new lens ASAP because coating on 4 years lens on current glasses were coming off. This was floor samples. The optician said that other people tried those glasses. I replied that shoes in store also try many people, that does nothing mean shoes goes bad. It was back and forth conversation with arguments from optician he did not want to do anything. I told him he is unprofessional, clueless and has to remove himself from the job. He also made comments that other place will not take my VSP insurance on which I told him it is not his business, I am willing to pay extra, but I will not be buying new frame from that place, it will not happen and they did not have anyway similar light frame.
Your company lost again opportunities to get business from me, I left disgusted and mad from the way your optician conducted himself and conducted business. I wrote one star review for this Pearl Vision on York rd in Warminster, PA and if I could, I would not given any stars.
This coming Friday I am going to my preferred optic shop to do just that: with prescription from your optometrist I will bring brand new frame to put new lens. I told optician I will continue my mission: no Pearl Vision ever ! Will let everyone know not to go to your shops. Your company hires unprofessional, clueless employees with tendency to loose customers cases ( 20 years ago + poorly made prescription by optometrist), and now optician who refused to do the same job that other optical shop easily does. Please, replace optician from Warminster , PA on York rd for one who has knowledge in frameless glasses. I left store mad, disgusted, anxious. Being on chemo therapy, this experience I needed the least , it did not help me to heal. Please, let me know what steps Pearl Vision took to fix the problem and/or replaced optician for knowledgeable one. What steps taken to satisfy customer in this very easy case?

First, I am a loyal long time Pearle Vision customer and have recommended Pearle Vision to others because of the quality and customer service friendly. I have now run into an issue which no one seems to want to address.
I had an eye appointment and ordered glasses late September 2020. The glasses I received broke around a month after receiving. The eye piece came completely off. They (Des Peres, MO office) replaced the frames. A month later these frames cracked under the lens. Frames were replaced then. These frames have been replaced SIX times (for either the crack in the frame or the eye piece coming off for both). This is beyond ridiculous at this point. When they replaced this last pair, I was also given an additional pair of frames in case the SIXth replacement failed.
It is obvious to me that there is a flaw in the frames I was given, maybe from the same lot or just a flaw in the design. I have not dropped these glasses, slept in them or stepped on them. In fact, I am very conscious of managing delicately so hopefully they won't break.
The Manager of the store (I don't even know name) will not speak to me - she speaks through her staff. They have been very considerate and acknowledged that they do not understand why they are not being permitted to select another design.
Currently, I have sought out another vendor for glasses, as we are doing some traveling and I cannot afford to be without glasses. I should not have been forced to do this.
As far as I am concerned, these frames should be replaced with another style and lenses, sooner rather than later. After SIX pairs, this is the only solution that is acceptable. Please contact me to discuss.

Hello, I purchased 2 pairs of glasses totaling $1,150 from the Robinson Twp. PA. Pearl Vision. Within a month the right lens of the reading glasses had scratched, so I contacted the store. I explained I added the scratch resistance option for $160 and wanted them to confirm that it was added when they fix the scratch. Without knowing who I was the manager said it was not the scratch resistance because they can scratch even with it. I Let the manage know I understood but wanted them to verify that it was applied because that was an option I called in after I purchased so maybe that was missed when they were made. The bottom line was because the glasses scratched quickly, and given I had called in the option after, I wanted the scratch resistance verified. After explaining 3 times she hung up on me. I called corporate and was told to fill out a complaint form. The supervisor said I could not contact anyone directly that could help and the complaint form was the only way. Terrible support

Hello, I have a complaint to register or an employee at Pearl Vision located at 932 Hillside Avenue, New Hyde Park, NY 11040. I was there on January 23, 2021..have been going there for many many years. I had my eye exam and purchased two pairs or eyeglasses, for a total of $890.00 out of pocket. The lady who assisted me with choosing my frames was quite helpful but little did I know that just a front for as soon as my monies was taken from my bank account it was a different story. I was told my glasses would be ready in 5-7 days it took two weeks. One pair was not what I expected it was quite heavy on my face I had it changed for a lighter frame, the same person who was helpful - I learned her name is Jayleen (not sure of the spelling) well let me tell you...she was rude! obnoxious! and the most unpleasant person I ever had the bad luck of dealing with, she certainly needs classes on customer service. I made a promise to my self to never ever again go to the store!

Pearl Vision Center of Clackamas Or. Has been trying to make me a new pair of glasses since the 28th of December 2020. She said should be two weeks. I called today and she said 10 more days before I can get them. That's all most a month. He'll Walmart was the same. I drive truck and cannot work till I get them. Pearl Vision has just cost me my job and my apartment in Gresham Or.

Pearle Vision Royal Oak has been great. Yesterday I desperately needed my glasses adjusted. They stayed open for me, even helped me find my car keys going out to my car (currently I am pretty-much disabled). Gave me advice how to get my eyes examined (I had been a patient until I broke my leg & laid up in CA for over 7 mos then laid up in Michigan for another year). It's tough getting old. I really appreciate the Pearle Vision folks in Royal Oak!!!

Went to pearle vision in capital city mall camphill pa because the previous pearle vision center in state College pa had closed in February 2020 had a eye examination done paid for the examination out of pocket ordered 2 pairs of glasses 1 pair of safety glasses and 1 pair of regular glasses the insurance paid for one pair and was to get the second pair at discount my total bill was $ 824.36 paid with a credit card was told 12_ 17 days for glasses both pairs one pair did arrive with in time frame the examination and ordered pairs of glasses was done on October 31 2020 here we are December 5 2020 still waiting for the other ordered pairs of glasses the response from the main office of pearle vision is wait it out just to let you know I'm not a happy customer of pearle vision plus pearle vision shows no responsibility for the missing pair of glasses plus the capital city mall camphill pa pearle vision cannot accept industrial vision eye's safety programs as stated on there forms there offer is accepted at all pearle vision in the USA this does not accept the form complaint has been filed with the better business bureau and the state attorney General office as well my opinion find another eye care facility that doesn't lie to customer and can order glasses for you I had a very bad experience with pearle vision in the capital city mall camphill did not have any problems with the pearle vision center in state College pa in the Nittany mall would have gone back to that store in state College pa but was closed in February of 2020 and pearle vision is very poor in handling customers complaints with no explanation i guess i will have another vision place for eye examination and glasses in the future in closing if you need a examination and glasses find another place for eye examination and glasses cannot recommend this pearle vision center in capital city mall camphill pa look for another location different eye provider unless you like to wait forever for glasses and no response from management of pearle vision to resolve a customer service complaint requested a refund for missing pair of glasses still didnot get a reply about it or missing pair of glasses and pearle vision hate to make phone calls to customers on there complaints my other question is what is customer service pearle vision needs to be reminded what is customer service and customer satisfaction must no understand what that means

I am writing to express my dismay about an interaction with a Pearle Vision employee in Evergreen Park. I phoned to reschedule an appointment and was asked for my name. I provided my name and she proceeded to read my full name and date of birth out loud. When I informed her that what she did was a HIPPA violation; her response was, "She had to identify me."

The fact that there is an absence of critical thinking, not to mention business etiquette, were absent it may be necessary to retrain some employees. Needless to say, I will take my business elsewhere.

San Mateo pearl vision3rd ave. Owner Alec and his employee Justin and finally yes the dr.
In 2018 maybe 2017 I went to this store. After my mom died June 2018 I missed an appt. when I said sorry my mom died and she said ( that's sad just tell us next time) what?!!
I went in every month to get my contacts and glasses.
They tried to fit me with different brands bifocals glasses contacts. In 2019 I was pissed but even bought the owner Alek and Justin a 25.00 GC for coffee. WE ARE IN THE LAST MONTH OF THE YEAR 2020. I have 3 pair of glasses(1 I can use. A half year wrong contacts and 1/2 year of contacts that may or not be. So bottom line? I missed out of two years of insurance usage and I have zero that work except bifocals (which I didn't want. Oh Justin started to ignore me when I came in to check. Wait. I was being nice 2 years into it. So started there bad exam 2017. So want to know the best part?! I PAID UP FRONT IN 2017 or 2018!!!

I have been a customer of the Homewood, Illinois Pearl Vision for MANY years and have always had a wonderful experience there. I just purchased two new pairs of glasses and have again, dealt with technician Lo, who has been working there since the 90's - She's very personable, knowledgeable and her customer service is beyond terrific. I want to make sure that this is acknowledged. Pearl Vision is very lucky to have her in their employ. I would like to make sure that the manager of that store is aware of how well she represents their store. As a business owner myself, I would always welcome comments and feedback about everyone in my employ.

I had the worst experience at the location "7085 Hwy 6 N, Houston, TX 77095". I called the location at 12:30 pm on 11/14/2020 and provided my insurance information to them and got an appointment for 2:15. I inquired about my coverage. The lady on the phone assured me that she has all the information she needed from me and she will make sure that coverage information is ready when I arrive. I entered the location at 2:10 pm and checked in. The receptionist started looking into my insurance information and I waited for 20 min. After that I was informed that my insurance company closed at 1pm since its a Saturday so she cannot find my coverage information.
I inquired as to why I was promised that the information will be collected since at the time of the appointment booking the offices were open. The receptionist advised me " you need to shut up you have reached my level of patience" I responded that I need to talk to someone else then. She responded " You need to shut up otherwise I will SLAP you and call the sheriff"
Being a first responder myself I was frustrated since I rarely get time to take care of my own health issues. I am utterly disappointed at the unprofessionalism and the ignorant behavior. I cannot believe that I was treated with such utter disrespect just because I am an old woman of indian descent. Does anyone even read these complaints? I feel like the customer is not important at all for Pearle Vision. I will continue to pursue this matter until I get an apology. In this day and age NO ONE deserves to be treated this way.

I came in to your south barrington store on Tuesday October 27th for an exam and glasses I informed the employee that I had a discount from the pearl web site I informed her twice while finalizing the sail she asked to see the discount witch I showed her it was a free eye exam I paid my bill and left the store only to find out that after I left the store she changed my card the $55 that I didn't authorize and I was never informed about. A phone call would have been nice! I don't feel your store should be able to put charges on my card without authorization from me ! I am not happy ! Please contact me and let me know if this is your company's policy to charge people's credit cards without their authorization!

I have purchased two pairs of glasses - Reading/Prescription and Sunglasses. I have taken my Robert Graham glasses to be repaired due to arm hinge falling apart and was told that could not be fixed and needed to purchase new frames after paying almost $300 in total. Due to Covid and unemployment I am forced to wear my glasses with tape on it to hold arm together. Pearle Vision offered me $100 off a new frame on frames over $300 which I am unable to purchase. I am APPALLED and the business procedures and/or etiquette. I am hoping to be contacted by Corporate office with a solution to honor a new pair of glasses and/or a refund to purchase another pair elsewhere. I will be sure to send copy of my email all across the internet and BBB. I am not threathening , just very upset and in a position where I am unable to wear my glases which broke within 6 months - less than a year old at time of purchases.

Please do not go there if you want a correct eye exam. I went in for a Medical exam. I asked before setting up the appointment if this was a Doctor that could tell if there was a issue going on. They said he was qualified for the State of Ohio. Not only was I asked to go sit and wait while he had two other patients in a rotation formation, but he missed my eye infection and a embedded piece of object in my eye lid. I told Dr. Razzano, that something wasn't right. I asked twice. He said my eyes were fine, and just go out and find a pair of glasses. I didn't because I couldn't see. Thank God I listened to that voice inside that knew something wasn't right. I made a new appointment with a different company. He found infections, and the object that was in my eye lid. Very worried that someone else will go there and get the same quality of service. By the way, when I tried to call this Company, YOU could not get through to a real person. Go else-G where save your vision.

I have gotten glasses three different times over the years. All three times I have had problems seeing properly out of them and when I go in to fix the problem they put the blame on me. This time I purchased two pr glasses and new lenses for my sunglasses. I spent about $800. I could have gone somewhere else for cheaper but thought I'd try once more to only be treated rudely by the dr and lied to by staff. In the long fun I have two pair of glasses and sunglasses that I cannot use and paid about $800.

I had my eyes examined in March 2020 just before Covid,and I recieved my glasses after MONTHS of waiting BUT I have repeatedly expressed concern as I can not see well using my glasses, & my rigid gas perm lens HAVE STILL NOT ARRIVED. I have been shuttled between the 2 area Pearle Vision stores (6650 S.Westnedge AND 575 N.Drake) with each store manager giving me a DIFFERENT NARRATIVE on why they are not here. TWO of your male doctors have assured me that THEY would personally see to it that my lens would be sent for. NOTHING HAPPENS. My calls are NOT RETURNED. Honestly at this point,
I have lost all confidence in your business.
The ONLY reason I came to Pearle Vision in the first was I followed the optician who did my prior exams to this facility & have been told that they don't know when or if she will ever work there again due to scheduling post-Covid.
The managers are polite but say that due to Covid and the store being closed that UPS sent ALL orders BACK TO THE LAB. FINE, BUT HOW IS THIS REMEDIED? They have now had ENOUGH time to have remade my lens & shipped.
I am tired of calling & being disconnected & stopping by to be told that they would have them shipped, & NOTHING HAPPENS. I have tried to be reasonable,kind & patient BUT I GIVE UP! At this point, I am requesting a FULL REFUND. PLEASE CALL me & We can arrange that I be refunded immediately & certainly quicker than your order filling has proven to be.
I WILL NOT BOTHER YOU WITH MAKING ANY FUTURE APPOINTMENTS.

I had purchased bifocals and pc glasses from Pearl Vision on Miller Rd in Flint Michigan. After dealing with a messed up prescription, I had gone back to get them adjusted. After the adjustment, tge following morning as I was going to a Dr appointment, I tried the redone prescription and they were quite blurry for long distance vision. The franchise manager helped me out fine tuning them. Working odd hours with my job, and only having specific days off, I called them ob 10/3/20, at 4:53, and going by the time they close on Google, I asked if they were open until 6. She said they close at 5. I have been in dire need of my new glasses for a couple of months, and she said that she could wait until 3 minutes after 5, which would have been impossible to get there by then, and I was very frustrated. I need my damn glasses. I payed for them, they messed up twice, and now I have to wait until my next day off. I am not very happy at all, and I doubt if I ever use Pearl Vision again. I am a very disappointed customer.

If for any reason you aren't 100% satisfied with your eyewear purchase, you can return it. Bring the merchandise back in its original condition within 30 days of your purchase and we'll make things right." Is misleading at best. The optician said to try the progressive lenses, with a total out of pocket of $400.56. I decided to go with the single vision, don't even think you'd get a refund for the difference. I got the single vision lenses and paid for the progressive lenses. What a fantastic scam! Don't forget to check your bill for the $34.95 Eyewear Protection Plan, that was slipped into my bill stealthily by Nick. I would avoid this business. Dishonest.

I had an exam on 8/21. Now it's 9/18 and still don't have my contacts. Manager has not followed up with the lab despite several calls from me asking about the problem. Finally today I got the manager(George) to call about the contacts and they are still sitting in the lab . It is just common courtesy to check on a order this old. Rude and no customer service. No one should do business with the Pearle Vision at
15681 N Hayden Rd in Scottsdale, AZ.

I've been going to the Pearl Vision on route one in Saugus for over five years and they have always been a pleasant place to go. A week ago I received a phone call and told me the policy has change and they were very rude on the telephone. I went in today to speak to the manager and she was just Unhelpful and rude! I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on

When you call a client let them know you are now closed for lunch so they don't drive 30 minutes to find out now you have a lunch closing.

The lady on the door at the Pearl Vision Center located in Suburban Square Ardmore is rude, unfriendly and disrespectful.
She did not give me an opportunity to as a complete question before she started to invite me out because -as she stated- "Protocol".Please provide her with better customer relations TRAINING...Thank you for your consideration.

Added all kinds of crappy options I didn't want or need to drive up cost of glasses to more than $1300!
Hate the coatings. Wanted tint, added sunlight activated tint that I hate.
Started having migraines after wearing glasses and just got eyesight checked elsewhere. Found out the eye prescription is ALL WRONG!
Pearlevision at Mall of Georgia is horrible! Hard sells against what consumers want or need.
Hurried doc exam with dangerous results.

I have been attempting to make contact with the Pearle Vision located at the Tuttle Mall in Columbus, Ohio but have received no response..no return call from voicemails, no answer at the store during business hours and now a recording states that the mailbox is full and cannot accept anymore messages. I should have received my contacts order via mail by now and have heard nothing about the glasses that should have arrived at the store for pick up. They collected a decent sum of money from me, and from my insurance, I find it unacceptable to have no return contact. Follow-up from SOMEONE would be appreciated.

I want to provision in Lavista Nebraska and receive my new glasses they determine that they did the wrong prescription I got frustrated request a refund they refused to so now they're sending my glasses back out again hopefully it's correct but at this point all I really want is just a refund and they're saying that I can't get a refund it's only a 72 hours in less than three weeks I'm very upset very frustrated I do not plan on using your company again and I do want somebody to go ahead and reach out to me my email is Sr 1032 at live.com

I broke the arm piece of my glasses and went to the store to see if I could get it repaired. They told me they couldn't repair it and the frame was out of stock. I had to buy a new frame for $99.
I think I got a bad deal. I will not shop with you anymore if you can't do any better.

I went to the Highland Village, Texas office March 4, 2020 for a yearly exam with the Optometrist connected to your office, Ami Khatri,. She did the exam and I took it to the connecting Prarle office next door and had the lens ordered. The lens cost over $400. The order came back after several days. I picked up the glasses and could hardly see with them. Everything was blurred. I went back for another exam and the doc told me my right eye must have been dry that day, so she gave me another prescription, ordered new lens and come back wrong again. Again another round of the same and lens not correct. So after 3 times I still don't have good eyesight with your glasses. I want my money back!

Pearle Vision in Harrisburg in Jonestown Rd has the worst service and the Manage Mikey should be fried. My appointment was March 12. They told me my glasses would be ready 12-14 days. Now every time i call I get the run around about some UPS driver not holding their packages. I just want a refund please and let me take my business else where

I ordered a pair of designer glasses. I spent over $300. When I picked them up, I wasn't offered lens towelettes, lense spray or a bag. I asked for a few lens towelettes and was given approximately 12. It was raining outside I had to ask for a bag. In our current economy, in order to stand out, you need to have great prices and excellent customer service. I will never purchase glasses at that location. There are 2 locations closer, but I like the optometrist.

To whom it may concern, I booked an appointment at your kennesaw Towne center mall location 3 months ago my appointment was for 5 pm today 2/26/2020 when I did not receive a reminder message I called them to verify and yes my appointment was for 5 pm , I arrived at 4:50 and patiently waited till 5:30 they told me they accept walk ins and if dr was with a patient I would half to wait WHY THEN DO YOU MAKE APPOINTMENTS? This should be cruisal to your patients as we have lives and schedules too, if there were 2 doctors and one took scheduled patients and the other took walk ins that would be great but you don't Iv been with pearl most of my 50 years of wearing glasses and I'm sure this is why I left a few years ago and after today will not return your not the only eye drs in town so hopefully you will address this issue before you lose more on time customers who do the right thing and make appointments !

Meadville Pennsylvania office worst service ever. Prescription is not right I have returned the glasses on different occasions to be fixed still cannot see out of them. I had an appointment for tomorrow once again and was cold this morning stating the insurance won't pay for it. I reminded them I am coming in so they can fix the glasses I have purchased. I'm wearing the glasses I've had for years and I can see better out of those than the ones I purchased for $380 out of pocket & what they billed the insurance. Thomas, that's what he said his name was, has gotten on the phone and has given issues every time I call stating I'm being a crybaby, I'm just worried about money, the glasses don't need fixed I have to learn to live with them, etc. and he's not saying it nicely. my husband got on the phone after he heard everything this man was saying to me and just wanting to argue. Of course he did not say those things to my husband and when my husband asked for corporate number & his name he gave us a local number to call stating he was the owner and there was no other corporate number. So this pearl vision has Received my money has billed my insurance I won't stand behind the product and has let this "Thomas" treat women as they are beneath him. And this comment is just a basic with not a lot of the detail.

Had eye exam November 27, 2018 and ordered reading glasses. Received a call December 7,2018 glasses ready. Went to pick up glasses wrong prescription filled, I was assured the problem would be resolved and glasses expedited. Did not receive call or notification, went to the office 2340 Central Park Avenue, Yonkers, NY December 17, 2018. Store manager on personal phone call, only got her attention when I told the young lady at the desk I want to cancel my order and get a refund. She proceeded to get off the phone, asked for my receipt, went in the back to place a call. After waiting I asked the desk lady to print my prescription and get my receipt. I requested a call as to the disposition of my case, as of today's date I not received a call, I notified my credit card company to place a dispute claim.

Pearl Vision Jackson Michigan is the worst EVER!!!!!! They gotten one thing right with my order yet. My glasses came in broke and had to have them fixed twice. Both times the manager seems to take it personal and just talk as loud as she can on the phone. I have to talk her down and tell her to calm down. Just an awful experience. Will NEVER go there again. EVER!!!!!!!!!!!
The first time the employee told me everything that was going on behind with the managers and other coworkers, talking trash, and the next day was horrible to me.

Pearl Vision has horrible customer service retention and satisfaction quality. Like other customers on the comment section, I too have been duped by Pearl Vision. My purchased glasses prescription was not correct and did not relieve this until my next visit. The manager gave me some song and dance about my warranty expiring. Well that would have been fine if my original purchase was correct. Now I wasted my annual visit with Pearl Vision and now I have to have my prescription for a new pair filled at another vendor. I will never patronize another Pearl Vision due to their lack of ethics and poor customer satisfaction.

I had purchased a pair of progressive eyeglasses from the Eatontown NJ last June. I had been using this store for over eight years. My old glasses I still used for work so I would not damage the new pair. I did not wear the new pair until 4-5 mos. later. When I began to use them I noticed that the prescription was way off. I called the store about it and was told The 'bring back period was over"! I recently went for my annual eye exam and asked them to check the prescription on these new glasses against the good pair I had and they acknowledged the prescription was off. I asked if they could do anything or give me store credit and they replied" we are new franchise owner and there was nothing they would do! I have spent a lot of money at that location over the years getting a new pair almost every year. I am considering another Eye Care vendor now. Bad business practice for a great customer

I sent an email to your office last week about a complaint I had with your Needham Ma. facility. Gave my address, email address and all the information about the complaint. Have had no response from your Corporate Office regarding my email so it is quite apparent that the supposed "big shots" don't care about what is going on in the stores you have. I am so sorry I ever stepped foot in your Watertown Ma. store which is where the problem started. Because they closed I went to your Needham Ma. store where the problem escalated. I am 84 so have many, many friends, young and old, and have passed the word along. Am sure the "big shots" don't really care as long as the money is coming in to them.

My experience is with the Easton Pennsylvania office. I had to go back 3 times in order for them to get my glasses correct. I live 30 minutes away. And they also charged me an additional fee of $70.00 to finally get them right. Every time I went to that office there were different associates there. It seems like they can't keep their help.

I would like to state that myself and my husband worst customer service experience in Pearl vision of Nellis in Las Vegas, Nevada. My husband had an eye exam which went very well,and the doctor took us to the eyeware department to pick out my husband frames, that is when we meet Alma,yadira eyeware associates that talked really fast like they were on a high doses of possible drugs or medication with very poor poor poor customer service skills without being more helpful and lack of giving my husband all the attention of purchasing eyeglasses. Therefore I am planning on contacting the corporate office of Pearl Vision on Nellis. I want a displinary action and I want an investigation to take place due to the poor customer service that myself and my husband experience...

My husband and I have been going to Pearl Vision in Wilmington Ma for years and have spent a lot of money during those years. This year we had coupons for $25.00 off each with insurance. I forgot to give them the coupons during our visit so I asked if they could be honored when our glasses were ready and was told due to new systems they could not honor the coupons. I feel that this is not good customer service and they lost two good customers over coupons that were sent to us I assume for being good customers. Going forward we will be going to new eye doctors for our eye care.

I am a 52-year-old African American male. I am writing to share my experience at your Pembroke Mall location on 7/15/2017 at approximately 7:00 pm - 7:30 pm. I was assisted by a sales representative named "Toni" while shopping for a pair of Ray ban sunglasses. No one else was inside the store but the two of us. She was assisting me until two other Caucasian people entered the store. Without excusing herself, Toni turned her back to me, asked the people if they needed help, and proceeded help them -- leaving me all alone. In short, she abandoned me. She sensed my frustration and later assured me that she would take care of me. I replied noting I did not want her help after the way I was treated. I asked for a business card which was provided by one of the Caucasian people she decided to help. She later apologized for her behavior which I did not accept. Instead, I explained that her behavior and customer service was unprofessional and offensive. Moreover, it was "culturally insensitive." I explained that I felt she was discriminating against me based on race. She denied it and found it necessary to explain to me that was it was not true because her daughter's husband was black and she has black grandchildren. This was an attempt to minimize her behavior, its impact, and my experience with her and the Pearle Vision store (Pembroke Mall Virginia Beach Virginia).

I believe in good customer service. Clearly, the sales representative "Toni" would benefit from some additional customer service training to include a training on cultural sensitivity. This was truly a traumatic experience for me.

received a letter on 6/8/17 and said it has been a year and a half since my last visit , but it has only been since 2/8/17 about 4 months. Maybe pearle vision needs to update your records - and besides I probably will not use your service anymore due to this is the second year your 1371 town center dr. Lakeland fl.office has messed my order up . Maybe your staff needs more training . I just think a month to get a pair of glasses is a little to long , I mean both years . I do not mean to be rude but if corporate don't know they cannot fix it .Thanks

Went to Pearle vision Frederick MD ordered new eye glasses over two weeks ago.
Paid the clerk in full. Said glasses were in went to get them and the eye glass
was wrong prescription for me. Told the manager cannot see through glasses and
she wouldn't make correction so I told her I want my money back and you just
keep the glasses. She didn't seem to care and said OK. Got my money back and
left store and I will never ever return to a Pearle store again. I have ordered
eye glasses before with no problem. I feel Pearle employees needs an overhaul
just right down bad service and bad management!!!!! I certainly am glad I got my
money back without a hitch on that for they are so------- bad!!!!!!

Pearle Vision in incompetent.

I ordered a size 54 frame and they had my glasses made up in size 53 but management will not admit it (after one of the clerks verified that the order was made up wrong). The original order cannot be found, they say. Now I am out my vision plan's benefit.

Can this store (in Oak Creek, WI) be that desperate for $400?

I went to Pearle Vision 12/19/2016 to order glasses, got there around 8:40 p.m. and there was no one in the front area, so I kept saying for three times Hello, Hello, Hello and no one answered. So after a few minutes this lady came out and ask me if I was out here hollering and I said yes. I told her that I was saying hello, because there was no one in the first area. So afterwards she ask me how could she help me, I inform her that I need to order glasses. This she ask me was it going to be through an insurance company and I said yes it's going to be through VSP, this lady start going crazy, she ask me did I think that I would be able to do this and it's a 8:45 p.m. I inform this lady that I was told when I called in that they didn't close until 9:00 p.m. she said that her doors needed to be close at 9:00 p.m. and that she had to be out of there by 9:00 p.m.I kept saying to this women over and over, I'm a customer and I should be served since I was here before 9:00 p.m. Long story short this women never served me. I left that store so disappointed I forgot to get her name, I went into the store to ask the clerk what was her name, she inform me that her name was Maureen.

Your False promise Guarantee: (All the way to Corporate level)
It has become apparent to me that your customer satisfaction Guarantee is not only an irrelevant statement at the store I purchased my glasses(Plano Texas #8683),but to corporate as well. Price $450 minus $150 discount final cost $304.46 Still too much money for a pair of glasses that I cannot use. Both Point of purchase and corporate office customer service can do nothing to remedy this issue. Refusal from store & lip service from corp. 4 months of no result after multiple attempts to correct this. My current pair of cheap store bought reading glasses serve me better than what I received for the price mentioned above. BBB & consumer fraud protection will have to be my next step.

Good Morning, my husband and I purchased frames from Pearle on January 15, 2016, the associate asked if we wanted new frames instead for the one on display, we said yes. she also said it would take about 5 days for the frames to come in. We paid for the frames. It snowed January 22, 2016 so I know there would be a delay but we have not receive our frames as of yet and I am very upset, every time I call Pearl vision they say they haven't received them but they show they have been shipped. It has been over 3 weeks, that don't make any sense, I wonder if they have received them and sole them to someone else because it's been too long. It should not take that long for frames. I will never purchase frames for them again. That is bad business for your company and it make you look bad. I hope you don't just read these complaints and do nothing about it. These people that file complaints are not doing for fun they want answers.
