I couldn't be more disappointed with your online customer service. I purchased an item that arrived with a hole in it. I made 4 phone calls, Facebook chat x 5 and 3 emails over a week. Pictures sent day shipment arrived. Finally got a response after 7 days stating they would send me a shipping label and if product passes inspection I will receive a refund. The artwork has a hole! Of course it won't pass inspection. I just want a new picture. Will never buy from you again
I'm absolutely sick to hear that your stores are closing... everything in my closet is from your stores...The compliments that I receive are endless....
I understand financial problems especially during the pandemic.
could you please tell me who you order your clothes from I know where you order your shoes but where do you order your dynamic clothes so that I can at least continue with my look and compliments.

Wanted to buy a jewelry fixture that was priced at $20. They said that I could buy it but could not take it with me. It had to stay in the store until the store closed at some undetermined future date.
What???? It had three necklaces on it and there were a half dozen of these fixtures each only partially filled. Stein Mart, I had money in my hand ready to hand it over to you and you said "No".
This business model may have been part of your problem.
Stein Mart...what can I say. Been shopping here since 1997 or 1998 I believe. I get most of my work clothes and accessories at Stein Mart. I have always been complimented on my beautiful tops and have then referred many people to the store. Every time I shop, I spend $100-300... Every single time and usually it is monthly or every other month. I understand surviving the shutdown this year has been devastating to most businesses. Has anyone tried to request help from larger companies / corporations? I just am devastated about this. I have shopped in Stein Mart in Florida as well. Please hear our cries and do something.
I have been shopping at SteinMart for years love it. I can't believe this store is closing. This is a awful. Jay Stein you could not weather the storm of the person you probably help to put in office. What about your employees? You probably helped put 45 in office. Can't you file for reorganization like SEARS. You could at least keep 2 stores open in every city. What are your employees going to do? I LOVE STEINMART. The employees are super friendly good ole fashioned hospitality. You should rethink this!

I asked the store manager - she had a ponytail and was working in ladies.
I asked two questions. One - when would markdowns be more than ten percent and when was final
Day of business was. She was extremely rude and snapped we don't k is". No eye contact. Plain rude. It is no wonder stores are closing with employees like this. I asked another lady who she was - and she told me she was the Store manager.
I can not believe that the store is closing.I have been shopping at Stein mart for the last 20 years. You are known in my family ? especially when Jay sends a special coupon. I had notice that the style was changing which concern me. We need stores like yours to push and stay. Change buyers and style redo your store set up? Don't age with the number of years you been in business stay fresh and new. Face lift reinvent yourself..Women no matter what is going on in the world will always shop!Please stay.. I went into one of the stores last Tuesday and saw big "Going Out Of Business, Store Closing" signs throughout the store. Tears came to my eyes, I have over 30+ years of history shopping at Stein Mart. This must have been a very difficult decision for the store officials to have to make. You gave the best to your customers and we will always cherish that and will always be thankful for that. I am truly going to miss you. Again, thank you Stein Mart for being there for us all through the years. May God Bless You All...........
I am already mourning the loss of my Stein Mart here in St. Petersburg, Florida. Of all the things the corona virus has changed, Stein Mart closing is affecting me the most. I am so sorry. This could not have been an easy decision. I have been a loyal and frequent customer for years. I will miss my Stein Mart.

I am frustrated with my local steinmart. I purchased a Vince Camuto purse a few weeks ago as a gift. It did not work out so I tried to return it. I had receipt with me but it turned out to be wrong receipt. I had purchased it the week before using my credit card. I asked if they could pull up purchase from my card. They told me no. I have not been able to find receipt at home and I know I only have about 30 days. I paid over $100 for this purse and can't afford to lose the refund. I'm disappointed the manager didn't try to help me
