Original Comment My family and I stayed at the Days Inn in Ofallon, Ill this past weekend. What a nightmare? When we checked in Friday, I noticed the sheets had cigarette burns on them, the microwave ovens were very outdated, the toilet seat did not fit which made it impossible to shut the door. I called down to the front desk and was told I could change rooms. The front desk clerk gave me 3 rooms to choose from. OMG! The first room I got to there were 2 old microwave ovens in it that were both outdated as well, old tv (not flat screens), old frig and burn spots on the carpet, The 2nd room, the bedding had burn spots on them as well, So finally the 3rd room was duable at the time. We had just got in town, it was raining and my husband was like ok let's just go to bed. I had to spray the sheets with lysol before we all slept. It was disgusting. the water had to run before it got hot and the exercise room had bugs running down the curtains. Which was a formal room. At breaksfast, there was cereal but no milk, the coffee was not hot and the staff was unprofessional. I will never stay at a Days Inn hotel in my life and will I never recommend it to any friend or family.
