I just want to comment on the days inn in van horn Texas. My son, daughter in law along with my 2 month old granddaughter are making a long move from the east coast to the west coast. My son is in the united states Marine Corp. He has been transferred from north Carolina to California. With all that being said as you may or may not know we had a major storm come through the united states. My oldest son has been stopping by and visiting family and had left his brothers house in San Angelo Texas when after several hours of driving it again started snowing and took him a hour to dtve 23 miles. He got off the freeway in van horn Texas and it seems so did everyone else. Van horn had 13 hotels and all were full. When my son and his family walked into days inn again they were told they were full. Your front desk clerk Joshua was so very kind and told them they could wait in the lobby with the baby to stay warm. After about an hour several other families seeking warmth and shelter tried to check in were told they could wait in the lobby (all these people were more than willing to pay for a room) the next person who was coming in told him they all needed to leave. Such poor customer service. Sending families with infants out into freezing weather with no compassion. My son would have paid anything to keep his family safe and warm. Can't believe the lack of humanity. Really need to check out this location. Its your name on the line.
