Uverse tech support made a mistake and I now wind up paying for it. Their answer is that the system won't allow them to ractify the problem. They had diagnosed my problem as a modem gone bad.They said they would send me a new modem, but I needed to send back my old purchased modem.As it turned out the problem was not with the modem. I am now being charged $7 a month for a modem that I did not need. UVerse mistake and they are sorry, but told me they can't send me back my perfectly good old modem. They admit the mistake, but can't do anything about the charges resulting from their mistake?<br /> I am seriously considering going to my cable provider for my internet.<br /> Pl. contact me to settle this unethical way of operating.
