Original Comment I rented a car in LA while vacationing around the 4th of July. After a few days I drove down to San Diego for a few more days. While doing so I drove on a toll road with no toll booths. I had no way of knowing how to pay or how much to pay. There was a sign telling me to pay online but I could not stop and wright this info down while going 70 mph. 5 or 6 weeks later I receive a notice from the toll road with the amount I owed. I have no problem with paying the toll and I did pay this online. However Thrifty is now charging me 30 dollars administration fee for not paying this charge in 48 hours. This should have been explained at the time I rented the car. There was no mention of toll charges or how to handle this when I rented this car.
