On March 7th 2015 my wife and I, along with my cousins, Richard and his wife Shelley Kelly checked into the Days Inn Hotel, located at, 5410 Ridge Ave., Cincinnati OH 45213. We both made reservations in advance and I paid for the rooms on my credit card.

I was a bit taken aback at the condition of the facility upon arrival, but we were in town visiting a sick relative, and we thought we were simply adjusting because of our short notices and hurried arrangements. The check in process was perhaps the most unprofessional experience I have ever witnessed or experienced. The night clerk's shirt was simply filthy; aside from his shoddy appearance and he was extremely rude to me and a customer he was servicing ahead of me.

My desire was to be placed in adjoining rooms, so my cousins and I, whom I haven't seen in 6 years, could catch up a bit between trips to and form the hospital. My wife and I arrived first and we were placed in a room that smelled of marijuana. The room itself was, to say the least was repugnant. There were burns in the carpet and bedding, as well as, no towels, soap or other amenities one would expect form a national hotel chain. We figured for the price we could make due for one night.

My cousins, Richard and Shelly Kelly, arrived approximately 2 hours after we did. While checking in they were informed the rooms they reserved had been damaged by the guest before them, and not available for occupancy; they were re-assigned to a room on a different floor, my wife and I requested to be moved to a room next to them, which was met with an actual obscenity by the night clerk, who after some prompting capitulated with our request. He appeared to be extremely angry with us.

About an hour after being re-located to our new rooms I received a phone call form the night clerk; he was loud, crude and condescending. He stated, someone had been smoking "weed" in the room we previously occupied, and if he smelled any "weed" orders coming form the rooms we were in we would be ask to leave. For the record the entire floor smelled of marijuana. This allegation is not true, and I repudiate any accusations of this nature.

In closing, I feel I have been stolen from by your company, and demand a timely refund of any money withdrawn from my account, less charges for the one night stay at your establishment.
