Day one, went up to room immediately after check in. Room had a very toxic chemical smell. We had to let it air out for two hours. Upon actually staying in the room, we noticed that the wifi would not connect to any of our devices, the lamp between our beds was not working due to the fact that the powerstrip would not stay plugged into the wall because the ground lead was broken off. (This is very dangerous) All of these items were brought up to the owners who were on site at the time. Nothing was resolved as of 7:15 pm on 09/22/2016. I connected my laptop to write this email through xfinity which cost me $2.95 . This is the most disappointing stay that I have ever had at one of these chains. The on duty employee told me that the ice maker on the first floor had been broken for a day and a half. I found it had been broken for several days based on witness accounts and previous reviews. Also the on duty employee stated that there had never been ice machines on each floor. I have pics that prove otherwise, plus i have installed these machines and serviced them. The on duty employee also told me that a part had been ordered for the broken one two days ago and had not been received. I have ordered parts for these and always received shipment in less than 24 hours. I'm far from being some ignorant, uneducated, low life dirt bag that this location tends to attend to. I am a hard working, honest patron that expects what this chain is known for offering. I have been a client of this chain since I turned 18 in 1995. Look up my history. I expect so much more and so does the American public that stays here.
