Original Comment Hughesnet is absolutely horrible. I have had horrible internet speed since I've had them (15 years +/-) but they're the only ones I can get based on where I live so I'm stuck. I don't even get 1/2 of the 25mbps that they claim speeds can be. I'm well below 12mbps download daily. Now they tell the satellite I'm connected to is has been having problems (x 1 month at least) and they "hope" to have it fixed in 1 month. HOPE?!? WTF? I asked to be moved to a satellite without problems and was flat out told "no, they can't." It's not that they can't, it's they won't. During the time they have a non-functioning satellite they continue to add more subscribers while they can't even accommodate the ones they already have. What BS. I'm looking for an attorney to file a class action lawsuit as a result of this.
