DO NOT BUY A WHIRLPOOL PRODUCT! I'm sorry I did. If you need service, it's almost impossible to speak with any Whirlpool representative. You will be put on hold - no matter what number you call - for hours!!!!! I have been on hold now for 1/2 hour minimum for each different whirlpool number I found, including supposed headquarters. It's too bad because decades ago, Whirlpool was a reliable company. Find another brand. They're horrible now!! And this is not due to COVID. We had issues a few years ago with our dryer and we encountered the same nonsense with scheduling a repair. I echoed another post because of the terrible lack of responsiveness of this company. To date every appliance we own is a Whirlpool. All that will definitely change in the future because of their extended warranty which I have only need ONCE and while I got a service date they said I wasn't under warranty which I AM. Enough of this nonsense. I am now on hold ... once again.. to get them to comply with their contract and send the authorization number needed for my service call to be paid for.
