Mere words cannot describe how unhappy I am with your company. I have been purchasing Nike sneakers for the past 35 yrs, and, up until now, have been very satisfied. That, however, has now changed. I purchased a pair of Nike Max Air sneakers for my son, and within 2 months, an air bubble inside broke, causing him back pain. I also noticed that the seam on the side of the sneaker was pulling away. My son showed this to my husband and myself, and after the fact, much to my dismay, proceeded to poke a hole in the side with a pen. I spoke with the people at Foot Action, where I purchased the sneakers, and they advised me to send the sneakers back to Nike, as they had been purchased 2 months prior. I spoke with a very pleasant rep, who walked me through the process, and shipped the sneakers accordingly. (claim #CL121026013927). I received the sneakers back in the mail, saying the claim was denied because the problem appears to have been caused by a foreign object. I have no way of proving this to you other than the words of my son, my husband, and myself, but obviously that does not matter. While I understand that it's my word against yours, I feel that both issues were not addressed- the material pulling away from the seam was not addressed. I am outraged that you people make MILLIONS of dollars from people like myself, yet deny defect claims on your products. Trust me, if I knew that the problem had been caused by my son sticking a pen in the side, and not a defect in your product, I would not have spent the time and money shipping the product back to you. I am a middle class working citizen with a self employed husband whose business is stuggling in the economy. I am not asking for thousands, or even hundreds of dollars- just the $129.99 that I spent on the sneakers to replace the defective pair.<br /> I have spent thousands of dollars on Nike sneakers and have been satisfied with your products, but as of today, my satisfaction has gone out the window, and I will no longer be purchasing any of your products in the future. Between my husband, my children, and myself, we currently have at least 10 pairs of Nike sneakers. While this may be a drop in the bucket to your company, it means a lot to me. Sincerely, Trisha Rusco
