I spent over 3 hours on the phone with a technical support person named Sunny from I believe India about my Belkin router not connecting to my modem. He proceeded to log into my computer and tell me that the stuff on my computer was a result of the router not working and said that my computer needed cleaned. I told him lets try another computer and see if it will work then. I hooked up the other computer, he logged onto it and after a few short minutes told me the same thing about this computer as well. I told him at that point how does he know since my router was not connected at this point.He said trust me we will get it working.<br /> After a short time he stated the both computers must be cleaned up and he can do that but there is a fee. At this point I got irate because after 3 hours he tells me now.<br /> I hung up and went out a bought a Netgear router and guess what? I am back up and running!! I am out $69.00 for the Belkin and another $79.00 for the Netgear. Never again will we buy a Belkin router!! Stay away from them.
