Original Comment I would like to comment on the DG store on Norway Ave, in Huntington, WV. When the store first opened a few months ago, customer service and management were great. I am not sure what happened, but now the manager, she is very rude. She will chew out her employees in front of customers. Today, my son found a pair of earbud headphones, on a rack, clearly marked $1. After purchasing some items with that, he looked at his receipt and seen that they did not ring up at a dollar. He told the cashier, she contacted the manager. The manager woman told him that they were $3 and they were stocked wrong. She told him he could keep them for $3, or he could get a refund. There were several ear buds on this rack, clearly marked $1. The package itself was not marked. I do not know what this manager thinks false advertising is, but to me, this is it. She treated the customer rude, basically told him that it was not the store or her fault that the package was not stocked correctly. Last night, one of the cashier's was helping a customer in the store, and the line of customers was long for one cashier. When she came back, she did not announce that she was open and take the next customer. She allowed customers who just walked in to be served before the people waiting in the long line. The management in this store has really gone downhill. I liked this store, but will probably stop shopping at it, due the very rude customer service. I am sure upper management would not like to hear this about their store.
