Original Comment I don't know where to even start with Time Warner Cable. I live in a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio called Anderson Township, and their service here is awful. First of all, their customer service is absolutely unhelpful and very rude. They are all foreigners who read from a script and just tell you to "reset your box." Well, resetting the box doesn't help since the problems happen 5 minutes later and again and again. Plus, they will do anything to not send a technician to your home. I have had problem after problem with their hd dvr boxes as well. I'm on my third box and am still having problems with it freezing up or just going out. I always get a message saying "please wait." There are very frequent cable outages here as well, and it doesn't even have to be storming. I mean satellite is more reliable than them! The HD picture quality is not good at all, in fact the 720p channels look like analog and the channels are so over compressed that you see fading when there is an action scene. The digital channels are even worse. The HD channels are not clear or sharp at all compared to satellite or having a regular HD antenna. I also have their internet which is very slow and unreliable. It goes out at least twice a week here. I'm not getting the speeds I am paying for. I'm not happy with their service at all and now they are wanting to up my rates. I don't think so. I am going to be looking for another provider-their service is abysmal.
