Original Comment Prospective Thrifty Car Rental Customers Beware! I routinely rented a vehicle from Thrifty Rental Car at Tampa International Airport on May 3, 2015 and returned vehicle to TIA as agreed on May 5, 2015, evidenced by transaction receipt issued when vehicle was returned. On Sunday, May 10, 2015, I received an automated call from Thrifty Rental Car's Security Department (866-791-1489) alleging rented vehicle had not been returned to TIA. I immediately called Thrifty Rental Car's Security Department and informed an apathetic representative of their internal error. On Monday, May 11, 2015, I received second automated call, and I followed up via detailed e-mail after waiting more than 20 minutes on hold. On Tuesday, May 12, 2015, I received third automated call threatening legal action. I called Thrifty Rental Car's Security Department and waited more than 20 minutes before hanging up and penning this review. My next call is to Thrifty Rental Car's corporate office in Tulsa, OK (918-660-7700). Will this saga ever end?! Always keep transaction receipts for indisputable proof!
