Now for some ranting - I just bought (8/2/15) a new Lenovo desktop computer for my assistant station, upgrading an old Dell workhorse. All went well until this past Monday, (after a whopping 50 days on the job) at which time the hard drive crashed. Called tech support - no problem - they dispatched a tech to come in on Tuesday and install a new hard drive, and they overnighted me disks to reinstall the operating system. (Windows 8.1) Problem was - they sent me disks 1,2, 3,4,6,6. Yes, that is not a typo - they sent 2 disk #6's - and they seemed to think that was ok when I called and told them this - I was instructed to go ahead and install and see if it works- needless to say, the computer does not work - still has a black screen upon start up and I have no new installation disks because they are incompetent. They keep telling me 3 business days and I will get them... when I called yesterday and asked where they were, they said they weren't shipped because I had already received them, referring to the original shipment of #1,2,3,4,6 and 6. Unbelievable. why did I ever leave Dell?
