Hi: I've contacted the dealership several times as well as the CSA at 800-992-1997. Not sure if this goes somewhere else or not, but we need assistance from someone higher up at Jeep. We've been loyal Jeep owners for many years even though my husband works for a local Ford Dealership. Our 2014 Wrangler with only 19,000 miles on it has a rear defroster that suddenly stopped working. When taking it to Woodhouse the tech said it's not covered that our dogs must have hit it and that's considered abuse. We do transport our dogs to the vet or the groomer, but they are small and would never be able to even reach it. The snap like connector is no longer connected to the glass ... thus the rear defroster won't work. Am tired of getting the run around on this. We do not abuse our vehicles never have. Actually my husband has managed body shops for over 40 years (even at a Jeep dealer before for 34 years). Then the tech actually THREW away the connector part and sent us some spade connectors to splice the wiring with that .. which isn't a proper fix. Evidently the 36 month / 36000 mile warranty means nothing if this isn't covered.
