Original Comment My name is Callie Williams and I purchase a Kenmore Elite Top-Loading Automatic Washer, Model 796.3151#21# in 2013. The technician came to my home today May 9, 2013 to give me an estimate of the repair to fix the washing machine.<br /> <br /> He told me it would cost $539.00 to do the repair. I have only had the washing machine not even 6 yrs and the clutch have gone out. I only use it for normal washing. This washing machine should not have this type of issue. I have always trusted Sears appliances since I was 17 yrs old and bought my first TV. I just can't believe I would have to pay $119.00 for the estimate and $539.00 for the parts and labor. When I purchase this washing machine the salesperson stated this was an excellent washing machine and I believed him. Now after six years I need this kind of repair. Please help!
