Original Comment Good Morning,<br /> Please direct these comments to your advertising and programing departments.<br /> I am a resident in Fleming Island, FL. The local TVLAND channel here is 106. Yesterday evening, throughout the regular evening programing, TVLAND sent an unsolicited message concerning the death of George Floyd. This message was totally inappropriate!<br /> My explanation:<br /> People (protestors &amp; rioters)are actively proclaiming that they want justice for his murder. They will get their justice through the legal court system. There is no excuse to take the actions they are taking. When a white, or Asian, or Hispanic man, or woman or child is murdered, you never see those ethnic groups protesting in large groups or rioting or looting. So why is it acceptable behavior for African Americans? TVLAND took it upon themselves, in my opinion, to transmit through their channel personal comments to acerbate the situation.<br /> It is the networks responsibility to keep the public informed but it is not their responsibility to aggravate and incite the public. It is my suggestion to drop TVLAND for their inappropriate actions taken last night during regular programming.<br /> Respectfully submitted.
