My wife and I stayed at the Days Inn at Fairgrounds OKC 2801 W 144 Service Road Oklahoma City, OK on August 27th, 2020. This Days Inn is situated between two other motels. First of all, we could not enter the building and this was at 5:56 p.M. not after dark. We went to a window and registered there. We have stayed at Days Inns before and expected a no frills room, but one that is neat and clean and all of the facilities work. The first room we entered, the bathroom sink had black guck in it. My wife went back to the register's window and asked for another room. We were provided another room several doors down from the first room. In this one, the florescent light over the sink barely came on. I tried to turn the tubes to get them to fully come on. That didn't work. Apparently, both tubes needed replacement. There weren't enough outlets for the microwave, the refrigerator, and the TV. So you had to chose; did you want to watch TV, microwave a meal, or keep your drinks cool. Never mind that you might want to recharge in your cell phone, or use your computer. The two lights on the side of the bed didn't work and a little investigation revealed that they were plugged into an outlet with no face plate behind the bed headboard. The bedspread had a cigarette burn it. And the soap in the bathroom was wafer thin. Also, there was no breakfast offered. There was not even a coffee pot in the room. The corporate management ought to drop this motel from your francise.
