Original Comment Safeco has very poor customer service and refuses to correct their mistakes. Got called yesterday for non payment of a prepaid year of home owners insurance paid during home closing. After a clerical error on their part they issued me a refund of someone else's money. I had called the company immediately on receipt of the check and told that it was an overpayment to check with my escrow account to see if it was a mistake on my mortgage company. I called again after to correct a policy mistake and paid a policy increase. Not at one single point did a person pick up the phone and say excuse me mam but we have made a huge mistake and we need you to return some money that we shouldn't have sent you. Instead they take the money put in by the titling company at a formal closing and pay the other person's bill. Now I've been charged with a cancellation with a gap and will incur more financial fees from the bank. Not cool considering I agreed to return the mistaken money even though it was their mistake. All that I asked for was to make the policy as it should have been but they have refused.
