Original Comment I previously worked for a dollar general in Macon ga, and I will say the stores are horrendous and filthy. I went to a store on Hartley bridge road and the manager I think her name is April she was yelling at employee while I was standing there with my items waiting to be checked out she told her to go home and this was a black girl she said this to. I can tell the girl was embarrassed and April began slamming things down and being rude to me. And I seen her do this on numerous occasions to this very same black girl. I didn't want to say anything because I thought it was a simple misunderstanding but I think April has it out for this girl. She even fired another black person from that store too he was a friend of my neighbor his name was Henry. I've been to this store and seen managers not doing their jobs and even one manager (a woman) smelled like weed very bad to the point I left. This store I think needs a whole new crew and clean up because out of all the stores in Macon the one located at Hartley bridge road next to family dollar needs help their employees are horrible and management is worse!
