On March 9,2023 my husband went to Del Taco in Albuquerque, NM. He spent 19.61 but the store charged him twice for the amount of 19.61. As soon as I noticed it on my bank account I contacted customer service as well as the store and was told by the district manager as well as store manager that it was impossible to be double charged. After going back and forth with customer service and store finally the store contacted IT department and verified yes there was a glitch and he was double charged. The store manager then calls to verify but refuses to refund the money because she needed the card(we live 1200 miles from the store) Called customer service back and was assured the money would be refunded and it was escalated to corporate on March 22, 2023. Still I have not been contacted nor have we received the refund that is now 1month and 5 days since charged. Anytime you call customer service they say well there is nothing we can do but send the request to the district manager. Who refuses to give the refund even though they acknowledge they owe the money.
