Original Comment I purchased a flag shadowbox this week for my dad's flag upon his passing. The flag unfortunately would not fit in the shadowbox which we did not know until trying it today. I took the shadowbox back to the Michaels store in Bangor, Maine, and was told they would not accept it because it was opened. They would not even give me a store credit. There is nothing wrong with this item and could easily be resold. I am left with a flag shadowbox that I cannot use. <br /> I do not recommend anyone shopping at Michael's store. This is not a good store policy as there was no way of knowing when the box was purchased. <br /> A store credit would've been greatly appreciated and definitely used.
