I have been a fan of Firehouse Subs for many years, but lately there has been some going ons that are leaving a bad taste in my mouth. There are times when we use delivery to receive our food. Tonight we (my wife and I) ordered two sandwiches and two bowls of chili. When our ordered was delivered, the bag it came in was sealed. When I opened the bag, I observed one of the sandwiches was not there. Since the bag was sealed, I presumed the mistake was made on by Firehouse Subs. When I called the store for them to make it right, I was told by both a worker and the "manager", I would have to go through the third-party vendor. So far, I have been unable to contact the delivery driver, Uber Eats or anyone else connected with this delivery. Sure, Uber Eats will refund my money but now if I want my food, I will have to go into town to retrieve it. I am totally unsatisfied with the way Firehouse Subs has handled this and I think it might be a while before I use their services again.
