No help! I got my Hoveround a couple weeks ago. When the tech was here he had me sit in it which I did. I didn't get out of it until he left. I had great difficulty getting out of the powerchair. I use a lift chair because my legs won't lift me well. I had to call and they had to send the tech back to put in a seat lifter. So, I didn't use the chair until he came back. When he came back I was sitting near where he was woking and noticed the left anti tip wheel looked different. It sparkles in one section. I ,axe the comment that it looked like jewelry. He didn't say anything and just turned he wheel. Last week that same anti tip wheel fell off. That sparkle was because it was cracked. The plastic wheel inside is malformed and also craxkeds. It had a totally different type of screw and nut to hold it on.



I called in for them to come and replace that wheel and check that the rest of the chair is secure. I have gotten the run around. Been promised a call back from supervisors and no one calls back. I got the number to compliance and again no one calls back. I was told it would take several weeks to get approval from my insurance company. NO! My insurance company should not be billed for a defective part or for something that was delivered broken.



If I don't get an immediate response I will get my insurance company & Medicare involved. I am scared in this chair. I have an incomplete spinal cord injury and cannot take even 1 step. I am totally dependent on the powerchair.
