This is my complaint about Century Link. The customer service is about the worst I have ever encountered. My account is subject to cancellation by me if things don't change. I had a sick dog, a death in the family and now I am so sick from the flu that when I ask for help I get the complete opposite there has been an ongoing feud between myself century link and directv and does any of the service reps on either side care. The answer to that question weather the customer service reps care the answer is NO. I have been called a liar and threatened of lose of service for a bill I don't even owe. I am so tired of trying to straighten this situation out that now I am asking corporate to step in. If I don't get the satisfactory service I will be leaving Century Link and going to the competitor and happy to do so. Now, I have been called at my home by a supervisor if I was going to cancel or what I was waiting for. The problem is so bad that every call I ask for the complaint dept or a supervisior and I get neither and no complaint is ever filed and it is just useless to think the next time I call in that it will be different so I am sure my account has been marked as if I am a criminal. Now, they are holding my account hostage til I pay. I have been a loyal customer for over 5 years and it isn't until I encountered a correction that needed to be made that I even noticed this horrible customer service. The at ease for the computer is useless. I had my pc tune up on a 2300.00 computer to watch it crash not more then 3 minutes after the pc tuneup there was nothing wrong with my computer but they are saying I told them my computer was broke before I started the pc tuneup which is a lie. I am at a loss here not only did I lose my computer and had to buy a replacement computer because they won't honor their own mistake and fix the problem. My harddrive needs to be retrieved and they won't fix a problem they caused me so I bought a new computer and now this is the service I have to deal with. Everytime I call in I tell them I am on disability and they don't care they are still just as rude and I asked this morning for the complaint dept. and was given the run around again. So here I am complaining and corporate will get a letter in writing. I am just not happy with the service I have received.
