I bought a HOOVER Flair and it was so horribly designed. Cheaply made and it hardly had any suction. Cleaning the suction cup was such a chore and the cup was very small. I called Customer Service and they said I had to ship it back and pay for the shipping. I was outraged and I asked to speak with a Supervisor and finally some lady got on the phone and told me if the vacuum was defective they would pay for the return shipping. I told her there was hardly any suction and she said they would not pay for return shipping. I returned the vacuum and it cost me $18.86. I again called Hoover Customer Service and spoke with a lady called Tiera and after telling her my story she said Hoover would refund my shipping cost. Several days go by and I called Hoover to see about my refund and was told there would be no refund. I told this gentleman about what Tiera told me and he checked with her while I waited and he came back and said there would be no refund even after Tiera lied to me. I've been a long time Hoover customer as I am 80 years old, and to be treated this way is beyond my comprehension. Corporate headquarters should know about this and how their Customer Service Reps are treating their customers. 4/29/13
