I recently had a problem with my 235 tractor; the mower blade was just shutting off, not running. I talked with the John Deere service people in Waynesville NC and they told me it was the clutch. I replaced the clutch, and the tractor ran fine for 2 mowings, then the same problem occurred....pulled the button out and it wouldn't run. I took it to the service place in Waynesville for repair; they kept it for 4 weeks, and said it was fixed. I brought it home, run it for less that 20 minutes....now the blade won't start back up. I've spent over 200 miles round trip and about $500 on the tractor, and it still doesn't run. I just want my tractor fixed, but feel that I was ripped off by the place in Waynesville. Can you recommend an honest place near to Asheville NC that can fix my tractor? I would appreciate your help and your response. I have been very happy with the John Deere products and would like to continue enjoying them without having to make a change.
