Original Comment My husband and I booked a 2 night stay in cary NC at the Best Western on Walnut Street. we checked in and out within an hour. there we transcients sleeping in the hallway and out by the pool. some of the hotel claimed to know of their being there and others claimed not to. the room smelled badly of cig smoke, even though we were told it was a non smoking room. something smells fishy at that hotel. go up the street to the hampton inn, so much nicer for the xtra money. homeless were sleeping around the pool also in their pj's. why wasn't something done sooner? the 2nd shift staff called the cops after I confronted the front desk. saw no housekeeping or maintenance people around. really creepy place.....don't go there.......
