I went to Fort Lauderdale on October 22nd 2013. I immediately developed a severe back issue, severe pain, could hardly walk. Doctors in FL could do nothing, I had to return to Phoenix. I had a non refundable fare however because of the severe medical condition, I was told I would get a 1 way fare of half or a change fee, only again due to the severe medical need. I paid $369 for the original fare, and received a $356 one way fare to return, no assistance due to my medical condition. This was an emergency status, weeks later I am under care of a Pain Management doctor and can hardly walk. There is no fax or email contact to Southwest and the low paid customer service vendors refuse to assist or even pass the call to a supervisor. I will put the charge in dispute on my card until they assist me.
