Original Comment It would appear that the Days Inn Experience is the same no matter where you go....ours in Chincoteague Va in August 2014 was horrid...we were there in May and it could not have been better...Owners (East Indian) have apparently bought another hotel in Virginia Beach and now spend all their time there. NO Manager on site in Chincoteague, Day Desk Receptionist (Shannon) is RUDE and very UNPROFESSIONAL - when given a pillow with blood all over it her response was "what do you want me to do about it". Housekeeping staff was much better - very apologetic, took care of the problem right away. Do not know her name but she was great - middle age woman with long braids. So was Kayce the night receptionist. There were at least 5 other patrons who left the hotel during my weekend stay because of the conditions of the hotel. Continental breakfast practically non existent, ran out of coffee, etc.
