Oh my God! Is there anything good to say about this company!? I called to sign up for television and internet service on Aug. 7, 2014. Purchased a $39/month bundle that includes free HBO for a year, with a few extras/fees comes to $60/month. Was told no activation fee ($99, which I was billed for) and promised a $50 gift card, which I have yet to see. Installation on Aug. 14 went smoothly.

After realizing I needed to upgrade the TV service because it didn't include some channels I wanted, I called back a week or so later to do an upgrade. Guy told me I needed U200 but what I got was UFamily -- an upgrade from UBasic but without the requested channels.

Called back around Aug. 27 to try to straighten this out. Young man in New Mexico - Ivic - after 40 minutes on the phone still couldn't figure out how to help me. Took my number, said he'd call me back later that afternoon. Never heard from him.

Called back the next day. Same scenario. Hours on the phone; tell your long saga to someone who transfers you to someone else. This time, Raj, took my cell number in case we got disconnected. We did, and he never called back.

Today, Sept. 8: I've been on hold now for 40 minutes. Finally got through to a woman after 20 minutes, who transferred me to someone else -- still holding; still no resolution.

Can't cancel new AT&T service because of early cancellation penalty in my 1-year contract.

DOES ANYONE AT THIS COMPANY REALLY CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
