Original Comment No more Kenmore or Sears for us! We purchased at Kenmore Elite Range in 6/11. For the past 3 yrs. we have had to have the front control panel REPLACED 3 times; because of a defective design. Even the service guys agree with that! The brackets are held on with double sided tape, which melts due to the heat from steam and cooking. The warmer drawer is ALWAYS hot when the oven is on--seems like little insulation. Also, when we roast meat in an open pan (i.e. Turkey), the oven smokes and sets off our smoke alarm. No satisfaction getting something done about any of this, except the traditional "we'll have someone come take a look" and then a 2nd appointment to replace the panel AGAIN! This panel is about $500--I've now had 3--that's almost as much as the oven cost to begin with!
