Media wont bury my cable. Since May 2013, my cable line is running on top of the ground from a subdivision a half mile away from my property. The neighborhood kids play jump rope with it. The neighbors cut it every Saturday while cutting grass and weed eating. It crosses two yards and two chain link fences and has so much duct tape on it from where I repair it, it is ridiculous when the techs tell me "nothing is wrong with it". Meanwhile, we've had over 30 outages, each lasting several weeks without E911 service or internet to conduct school, work, or financial transactions. Customer service reps provide the best responses such as: "well I don't even have a home phone anymore, so I don't understand the issue", or, "well don't you have a cell phone you can use for internet access?" and "it's a privilege for you to have cable, we shouldn't even provide you with service". I challenge anyone from Mediacom who reads this to contact me using my contact info. I'm sure you will use the excuse "we couldn't reach you b/c your phone was not in service". No kidding you
